Look… maybe ferncliff is the best place for her. No. I refuse to believe that. If I have it right, a gestational surrogate is a person not related to the fetus because they didn’t provide the egg. Yes, that’s correct. In your case, it would be a donor egg fertilized with tj’s sperm impregnated through ivf. Whereas the traditional surrogate is a surrogate that provides the egg and is genetically related to the fetus. Right again. I have several traditional surrogates who are willing to supply the egg and be fertilized through iui. So, that’s the first question. Do you have plans to secure a donor egg?

You think sasha fell off the wagon? Maybe she didn’t know she was drugged. What if someone spiked her drink? Look, I know that you are trying to find any possible way to explain sasha’s behavior, but she has a history of mental illness. And if we deny that, we’re not helping her. With everything going on with curtis, I’m trying to be respectful, keep my distance away from trina and her family. But why? Spencer, trina just found out that curtis isn’t her stepdad, but her biological father. He’s just been shot. He could be paralyzed for the rest of his life. I know for me, when I was overseas in the military, and one of my buddies would get seriously injured, the hardest part was watching them isolate themselves from the rest of us. But after a while, you start to get it. I mean, our job in the military is literally to protect people. So if you get injured and you lose your ability to be a protector, it’s gotta mess with your head. And for curtis, I mean, he’s no longer just this guy who’s married to your mom. He’s your actual biological father. It’s gotta kill him that he can’t be your protector. Yeah, but I’m not a little girl. Curtis doesn’t have to protect me. That doesn’t matter to me. Maybe not. You know, before today, I was really torn about whether we should ask kristina to donate an egg, because at least the baby would be biologically related to me. That makes sense. But after kristina’s barge-in earlier, I realized that it would just make everything so much more fraught, because you know kristina would feel entitled to give her opinion on every parenting decision we made. Yeah. And because of that, and a million other reasons, I just — I think it would be better if we use the surrogate’s egg. Molly… no matter what, you are going to be the mom of our baby. I agree. And I’m — I’m feeling so much more confident after meeting with claire. I know she’s gonna find us the perfect woman to carry our baby. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And just think — a year from now, our baby could be on this couch with us! With us.
[ Chuckling ] Spencer actually has plans with trina this afternoon. Well, uh, I-I do know that my mom’s out of town, so I don’t think it’d be a big deal for esme to take the afternoon off.
