Bill: Do as I say and things will be normal again. You and finn will have your lives back. Taylor will maintain her freedom, and sheila and i will go on with our lives, together.
Sheila: I know what a shock this must be to you, sweetheart, to find out about the two of us like this.
Finn: How did you two even get together?
Sheila: Some– sometimes love just finds its way.
Steffy: Oh, my god, enough of this. I am not hearing this anymore. You! You are horrible. Despicable. What kind of number has she done on you, bill? We’re not letting her get away scot free.
Bill: That’s exactly what you’re going to do.
Steffy: Excuse me?
Bill: No one is pressing charges against sheila. Unless you want your mother going to jail too.
Steffy: You’re blackmailing me? Threatening my mother’s freedom?
Liam: Okay. If this wig belongs to sheila carter like we think.
Wyatt: And this earring. And what was she doing in dad’s house? And how the hell did she even get in here? I mean, there’s a guard at the front gate, 24/7. There’s the additional security driving around.
Liam: Also, she’s totally psycho, so what on earth does she want with our father?

Liam: Yeah, I know, tony at the gate confirmed.
Wyatt: Well, did he say anything else? Was he with anyone? A woman?
Liam: No, he couldn’t say because it’s dad and, you know, dad and his tinted windows. Oh, get this, though. When I asked him about the security footage, he said the whole system was down because of the storm and the backup.

Liam: Wherever dad is, sheila is.
Sheila: Steffy, would you please just listen? Just do as he says.

Steffy: Bill, listen to me. You can’t defend sheila. She is incapable of loving. She shot me. She is beyond dangerous. You know that. I know you wanted things to work out with brooke and with katie. It didn’T. And you felt alienated in other relationships. Relationships that were important to you. I get– I get how you’re hurt, but being involved with a sociopath, standing up for a woman who put a bullet in me, who put a bullet in her own son! She tried to kill li. I mean, li couldn’t even speak at first because she was so traumatized. Traumatized by sheila. You need to wake up. Sheila is a threat to anyone who gets close to her. You are going to prison. Oh, you thought– you thought you could latch on to another man, a very powerful man. And you thought it’d make everything all right. Bill, tell her. Tell her she’s wrong. Steffy: Bill, she’s using you.
Bill: You’re not understanding what sheila has come to mean to me.

Steffy: Do you hear yourself right now? Do you even know what you’re saying?

Sheila: Bill and I are like two sides of the same coin. We understand one another. We know each other’s needs and desires. And I accept him as he is. Just as he accepts me for who I am.
Steffy: Who she is will wind up destroying you, bill. She will do to your life what she’s done to so many others. How many times do you need to hear that before you wake up?

Liam: But we’re worried, you know. Like, what if she kidnapped him?

Baker: What about bill’s private jet? Any activity in the last few hours?
Wyatt: Oh, my god, we hadn’t even thought about that. No, you wait, you think she’s going to try and leave the country and maybe force dad to make that happen?
Baker: Anything’s possible, especially when you’re as desperate as sheila is. That’s why I want you both to leave the premises immediately. My men and i will handle this. Your father will be found, and with any luck, sheila will be in custody tonight.
Steffy: I can’t believe bill. He’s– he’s lost his mind.
Finn: I mean, did he really say that he and sheila have been living together?
Steffy: Yes.
Finn: I don’t get it. Why would sheila turn to bill when he outed her to the police before? I mean, you’d think that she would be livid, want revenge. But instead, they’re involved.
Steffy: It’s crazy. Somehow, sheila ends up making the impossible possible.
Finn: I still need to hear how it happened.
Steffy: About sheila and bill, I don’t want to talk about it.
Finn: No, about bill and your mother. Why did taylor shoot him?
Finn: Bill’s blackmailing us. Your mother shot him. Why steffy? I need to know.
Steffy: It happened while I was married to liam. We were going through some things and so were bill and– and liam and I– I tried my best to repair their relationship. Bill was really grateful and then I found out that liam kissed another woman and I was just so– I was so hurt. I felt betrayed. I went to my grandfather’s guesthouse and I was just so angry and emotional and… then bill showed up and, um…
Finn: And what?
Steffy: I hate that it happened.
Finn: You and bill.
Steffy: It never should’ve happened. But my mom thought that he, um, that he took advantage of me and that’s why she shot him.
Bill: Want a fire?
Sheila: No thanks. The bourbon will warm me up. You know, this– this place has been a sanctuary to me, really a port in the storm. I– I– I don’t know how I’m ever going to adequately be able to thank you for all that you’ve done.
Bill: Works both ways. Being here with you. Someone who understands me. A woman who truly understands me. Who would’ve thought?
Sheila: Yeah, but you know what? It goes both ways. A man that truly cares for me. A man who was willing to risk so much for me. You know, you say that you’ve hurt so many people over the years and that you could never do that to me, and that might be true. I– I can’t even imagine a scenario where anything like that would happen. Let alone me doing something to hurt you, after all the kindness you’ve shown me.
Bill: I think it’s time. It’s going to be a rough road for a bit, but in the end, you’ll have your freedom. Are you ready?
Sheila: Yeah.
Bill: This is bill spencer. Sheila carter is in my home. Hurry, she’s got to be apprehended. Hurry!

Steffy: I never told you what happened with bill because it was one moment of weakness that I’ll always regret. But my mom is– she was wrong. Bill never took advantage of me, not like that.
Finn: So, it was consensual?
Steffy: Yes. If I’d been in a better frame of mind, if I wasn’t so upset, it… it never would’ve happened.
Finn: Yeah, but he played on your emotions.
Steffy: It was a long time ago, finn. A different lifetime. What happened is my past and what matters now is our future. We have each other and our family. That’s what’s important to me. I know learning this must be a shock to you, but I wasn’t purposely trying to keep it from you. I just never think about it. I never want us to think about it. Please don’t be upset with me.
Finn: No, I’m not upset with you. But bill should’ve known better because any halfway decent man would never have.
Steffy: I– I– I…
Finn: You’re my wife.
Steffy: I get it. I know. And I know you want to throttle bill for what happened. I get it. I know you love me and you care about me. And you feel like you need to protect me. I understand that. But I just want to make sure what happened with bill, it doesn’t– it doesn’t eat away at you or our marriage.
Finn: It won’T. I mean, I won’t let it. Thank you for opening up to me and telling the truth. I know it’s probably hard to talk about but, uh… god, it’s just bill, man. You know, the things that he does.
Steffy: Can we just focus on bill’s latest blackmail?
Finn: It’s unbelievable. Steffy, sheila can’t get away with this. We have to call the police.
Steffy: Believe me, I want that too. I want sheila in jail just as much as you, but there’s so much at stake. My mother’s future is at stake. I mean, the thought of her behind bars for years for shooting bill. She thought bill took advantage of me and she acted irrationally. She was a different person back then. But if bill goes through with this, I mean, I love my mom so much, the thought of gambling with her freedom. I just… I can’t do that. I can’t do that to my mother, finn.
Bill: Now, let’s go over this one more time just to make sure we are absolutely clear. I’m going to tell them that you showed up here desperately pleading your case. I shut you down and called the cops. That’s our story. Now, you’re going to be in jail for a bit, that’s a necessary step. I will then do everything in my power to get you out. And you will be a free woman again. And we can be together.

Bill: Oh, thank god, you’re here. She– she showed up begging for help. I told her she was nuts and called you guys.
