Kristina tells Ava and Ric that his car accident made her realize that she needs to let go of her hatred for both him and Ava. Ava and Ric are about to leave when Alexis tells them she will always do what is best for her daughters as a way to let them know that she will put the money they requested into the shell cooperation that Ric set up to put the payments. Kristina forgives her mother for drawing up the commitment papers and Alexis apologizes to Kristina and tells her that she only did it because she was concerned about her.
Emma tells Josslynn that she followed professor Dalton to PCU because her animal rights group found out that Professor Dalton is using higher animals like dogs and cars to do his research and she has to put a stop to it. Josslynn meets with Jack and Vaugn about what Emma told her and Jack tells her and Vaughn that Professor Daltton is working on a new technology that could have global implications. Jack tells Josslynn that Anna can’t know anything about this mission because, if she does, she will only get in the way. Josslynn must find out about Dalton’s research and also finds out who the other person or organization is interested in the research.
Lois defends Gio to Dante but he tells her that she and Gloria have to quit coddling Gio and let him take responsibility for his actions. Gio later tells Emma he always got along well with Dante but now he knows Dante doesn’t respect him at all.
Lois calls Gloria to tell her what happened between Dante and Gio and how deeply hurt Gio is by Dante’s words. Lois tells Gloria that if Dante only knew that Dante was his son he wouldn’t have hurt him so much. Lulu makes Dante realize he went too far with Gio but she knows that he was scared. Lulu makes herself an audio reminder on her phone to find out where Lois was when Gio was born.
