Rafe came home from his job and noticed Leo’s suspect list. When Leo came in the kitchen, Rafe asked him about the list. Rafe told him that he could investigate him, but he had to stay away from Gabi. He said she wasn’t going to prison for a crime she didn’t do. Gabi called out to Javi and yelled at him for messing up a report. She told him she was concerned about losing Gabi Chic and being a suspect in EJ’s shooting. She was upset with Javi for defending Leo. Gabi left to get something to eat. Leo showed up to see Javi and to get away with Rafe. When Javi tried to get Leo out of the office, Gabi showed up and yelled at him. Gabi walked out of the office. Javi said he couldn’t take working for Gabi. Leo suggested that he quit before his relationship with Gabi was ruined. Shawn told Jada that he was going to help her figure out who shot EJ. While they were talking about the suspects, Shawn said Jada was a suspect because of the situation with EJ, Rafe, and Arnold. He mentioned how her gun was missing. Jada understood why he would accuse her since she was capable of doing it. She denied shooting EJ and said she locked her gun in a drawer because she didn’t trust herself. Shawn called Rafe and asked when he was turning in his gun. Rafe told him he would do it soon. He told Shawn he was busy rejoining the FBI. When Gabi went home, she vented to Rafe. After she finished venting, Rafe asked if she shot EJ. A surprised Gabi couldn’t believe he asked her that. Rafe said Gabi took his gun the night EJ was shot. He asked if she went to the DiMera mansion with his gun. Gabi admitted that she did. She said she heard EJ arguing with someone when she got there, but didn’t know who it was. The only thing she knew was that it was a male voice. Gabi said she didn’t shoot EJ. Rafe said he believed her but wished she told him the truth sooner. Gabi said she saw Ava by the front door, but she left when Gabi showed up. Shawn apologized to Jada for accusing her of shooting EJ. Jada understood his reasoning.
