Ted confronted Leslie outside of Uptown. He wanted to know what it would take to get rid of her for good. She asked him if he was worried that she would tell about the baby they made together. Leslie told him that she had an abortion. Nicole invited Eva to have dinner with the family, but she turned down the offer. She didn’t want to spend any more time with Kat. Later Ted, Nicole and Kat had dinner. Kat hoped to catch Eva doing something incriminating so she kept looking at her phone. Her phone died just as Eva reached for a patient file. She left Uptown hoping to catch Eva in the act. Kat didn’t get the chance to catch Eva in the act because she was gone when she got to the office. She looked like a fool when her parents followed her to the office. They wanted to know how Kat knew Eva was up to no good. She tried to show them the footage, but Eva managed to erase it. Eva was proud of herself for getting the best of Kat. She was convinced that Kat wasn’t ready to come after her. Martin and Smitty wanted to know what happened to Tyrell’s eye. Tyrell insisted that his eye was okay. He said that he got into an accident with his bike. Martin and Smitty didn’t believe him. Samantha tried her best to confirm Tyrell’s story. Her performance didn’t convince them. Martin noticed that Samantha was giving them politician answers when it concerned her brother. Samantha went upstairs to talk to Tyrell. It turned out that a student twice his size punched him. Tyrell let her know that it was more than just the sucker punch. Someone sent a picture of him in his underwear to a girl at school. The girl’s boyfriend saw the picture and hit him. He didn’t want their father to find out because he would use his political influence to get revenge.
Hayley wanted to surprise Bill, but she saw him hugging another woman. The mystery woman was used to her husband lying to her. She said their time together replenished her. Hayley wanted to confront him, but she thought about it first. She didn’t know if the mystery woman was a client or not. The woman could be on a long list of women he cheated with. Hayley remembered that he cheated the same way with her. Bill calmed Hayley’s nerves by telling her that he was trying to get information from her because he planned to represent the husband in the case. She was convinced he told her the truth. Hayley felt dumb accusing him of cheating. Bill told her that she didn’t have to worry about him replacing her with another woman. Doug and Vanessa were having dinner with Ted and Nicole. Nicole told Vanessa that she never sees Doug at the hospital anymore. Vanessa jumped in the conversation and said that he has been working. Joe arrived at Uptown while they were there and pretended to be interested in real estate. Vanessa wanted him to join them for dinner. Doug and Vanessa got into an argument for getting involved with Joey in the first place. Joe went to the casino and gave Randy magic cards that would turn winners into losers. Randy tried to get Doug to leave the casino, but he didn’t get the signal. Joey let Randy know that Doug was his meal ticket to moving up and it better stay that way.
