    “The Shrink Next Door.” The new dark comedy, featuring a star-studded cast led by Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd, who also serve as executive producers, will make its global debut Friday, November 12, 2021 on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes. New episodes will premiere weekly every Friday. Inspired by true events, “The Shrink Next Door” details the bizarre relationship between psychiatrist to the stars Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (played by Rudd) and his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz (played by Ferrell).     A young Florida couple was planning a wedding and their life together when the future groom was shot and killed at his front door. Patrick De La Cerda was expecting a delivery of the engagement ring for his fiancée, Jessica Devnani. Instead, say investigators, when he went to the door on Feb. 27, 2018, he was met with a hail of bullets. Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS report on the shooting and the unexpected twists in the investigation in “The Ring: The Murder of Patrick De La Cerda,” to be broadcast Saturday, Nov. 13 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.
    The case shocked the Deltona, Fla., community, and set off an investigation that would expose a meticulous murder plan crafted, say investigators, by a man jealous of the couple’s relationship. 48 HOURS features interviews with Devnani, De La Cerda’s family, a sheriff’s detective, and prosecutors.
    De La Cerda was found by Devnani, who went to his home after he didn’t answer her calls.
    “It was just the worst thing you could ever see in your entire life,” Devnani tells Van Sant.
    De La Cerda was hit multiple times, says Volusia County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Detective Chad Weaver. “It appeared that he was killed, like, ambush-style.”
    “My whole future was taken away from me,” Devnani says. “My whole world was taken away from me.”
    Why would someone want De La Cerda dead? Detective Weaver quickly learned from Devnani about her jealous ex-boyfriend, Gregory Bender, who she says had been harassing the couple.
    “He was always shadowing my life,” Devnani says of Bender.
    Where the investigation led, however, surprised everyone. Turns out the key piece of evidence was several handwritten pages with a map of the murder scene and details of how to conceal the crime. What stunned investigators was where they found it: in a trash can at Bender’s home.
    “I was in shock. There’s no way that we just found this murder plan,” Weaver says.

    Friday’s all-new Dateline NBC at 9pm ET/8pm CT will reveal new details and an in-depth look at Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell, the Idaho couple charged in the murders of Lori’s children JJ & Tylee. The two-hour special, entitled The Doomsday Files, features exclusive interviews, secret recordings, text messages, new evidence and more that shine a light on Lori and Chad’s true motivations.
    During the broadcast, the brothers of Lori’s ex-husband, Charles, speak out in their first interview since he was shot and killed by Lori’s own brother, who claimed it was self-defense. Charles’s brother tells Keith Morrison, “That was not self-defense. That was an ambush. There’s a lot of inconsistencies about that story.”
    Additionally, The Doomsday Files will report on Lori and Chad’s inner circle, including Lori’s niece Melani’s alleged involvement with the couple’s fringe religious group that believed doomsday was near. The broadcast will also include never-before-heard secret audio recordings obtained by Dateline of Melani speaking about the attempted murder of her husband. Melani has denied any involvement with the shooting and being part of their religious group.
    Chad and Lori have both been charged with murder in the deaths of JJ and Tylee. Chad has pleaded not guilty. Lori is also facing conspiracy to commit shooting charges in the death of her ex-husband. Her trial is currently on hold after a judge found her not competent to stand trial.
    Friday’s Dateline marks the fifth broadcast on Lori and Chad from Dateline, which has covered the case since the beginning. Morrison also reported on the case for Dateline’s #1 podcast, Mommy Doomsday.
    Dateline NBC is the longest-running series in NBC primetime history and is now in its 30th season. Dateline is anchored by Lester Holt and features correspondents Andrea Canning, Josh Mankiewicz, Keith Morrison and Dennis Murphy.

    WWE has announced just one match for tonight’s show and that’s Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens.
    It’s expected that Bobby Lashley will be back in the storylines with tonight’s show. He has not appeared on TV since losing to WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg at Crown Jewel, but he did return to action at the recent WWE live events in England, and just lost to WWE Champion Big E at Saturday’s show in London.
