“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend” Review on by Eva 6/16/2022

I enjoy watching cooking shows although I don’t know how to cook. One of my favorite shows to watch on Food Network was Iron Chef America. The show was fun to watch and I loved to see what the chefs would do with the secret ingredient.

The food Network canceled the show a few years ago but Netflix has brought the show back and the eight episodes of the show are now available to stream. The show consists of battles between an Iron Chef and a challenger and the battles have a theme such as tailgating or street food. The chefs must make several courses of food to present to three judges who give each chef points. The chef who gets the most points wins the battle if the challenger beats the Iron chef; that chef has the chance to return to compete in the final battle where the chef has to compete against all five of the Iron chefs to have the chance to become the Iron Legend.

If you love to watch cooking shows you will enjoy this show; it is interesting to see what dishes the chefs prepare with some little known ingredients and you learn some food facts during the show too.

The episodes last thirty minutes, so if you like to binge watch, it is easy to do with this show. I am so happy that Iron Chef is back, and the show has kept all the ingredients that made Iron Chef America so much fun.

I give this show 5 out of 5 stars.
