He’s an amazing actor, which you can see if you watch the series. He’s able to show so many sides of his character, Bill. It’s no surprise that he’s nominated for a Daytime Emmy this year! I hope he wins, but his category has very stiff competition. He’s up against quite a few CBS stars, including Mike Manning, who plays Smitty on BTG as well.

I’m not sure why Timon is nominated as a supporting actor because he drives a lot of story in the show. Either way, it’s fun to watch Bill navigate the drama on the show, with his ex-wives, his daughters and more. I hope you enjoy our interview! Where to Watch the 53rd Daytime Emmys

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

<img decoding="async" class=" wp-image-71668 alignleft" src="https://tvmeg.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/btgkeyart-300x169.jpg" alt="CBS Presents BEYOND THE GATES ©2025 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. Here you’ll find a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those who live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have “made it” and those who haven’t are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.

BEYOND THE GATES is proudly filmed in Atlanta, Ga.

BEYOND THE GATES airs on the CBS Television Network, and is available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

ON AIR:

Weekdays (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, PT)

FORMAT:

Daytime drama (HD)

Timon Kyle Durrett

A versatile actor, artist and author, Timon Kyle Durrett made his mark on Alcorn State University both in his studies and on the men’s basketball team.
