Heather assured him that she wouldn&#8217;t stay in town because she had a life in London. Joey warned her that if she stepped out of line, he would hurt her. Randy and Vanessa reminisced about Doug. She told him that she was in Puerto Rico with Joey the night Doug died. She felt relieved that she finally told someone what she was doing the night Doug died. Randy understood that she and Doug had an open relationship. He felt bad that he didn&#8217;t do more to help keep Doug from getting carried away with gambling. They realized that they could have done more, but he said Vanessa shouldn&#8217;t feel guilty for things beyond her control.<\/p>\n<p>Anita was upset that Leslie called Devon to change the date of the Articulettes recording session. She wanted to know why she did it. Leslie didn&#8217;t give her a reason, but she wanted it for Eva. Anita wasn&#8217;t going to let Leslie take over the project. Heather met with Smitty at Uptown and apologized for talking to his children and upsetting Nicole. Smitty was surprised to find out that Joey was her brother. Jacob got disturbing news that made Smitty look bad. He found out that Smitty had a secret meeting with Max before Lia died.
