He needed someone to talk to about her cancer. Chanel is the one going through it, but it affects Johnny too. He is going through it watching the woman he loves in pain. EJ was allowed the opportunity to be there for Johnny.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chanel finally told Paulina about her breast cancer. Paulina was supportive when she heard the news. Chanel should have told Paulina sooner. We understand why Chanel didn&#8217;t want to say anything, but Paulina should have been told the truth. Paulina had a right to know what was going on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It served Gabi right that Theo wasn&#8217;t willing to forgive her for accusing him of telling her secret. If Philip didn&#8217;t tell her Theo didn&#8217;t tell him, she would have continued to treat him like dirt. She needed to have the proverbial door slammed in her face.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Roman shouldn\u2019t have been rolling out the red carpet for Joy. Did he forget that Joy almost ruined Johnny\u2019s marriage? You would think that he wouldn&#8217;t be so willing to let her hang around the pub. Also, Joy&#8217;s baby could also come between Stephanie and Alex yet Roman was acting like he&#8217;s the doting grandfather.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Marlena showed that she&#8217;s unprofessional when she blackmailed Xander into dropping the lawsuit against Johnny. If she felt that strongly about it, why did she continue seeing him? She could have recommended another therapist. What kind of a doctor refuses to see a patient unless she gets what she wants? Xander should report her to the board of health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was good to see Leo and Gwen getting along. After what Leo did to her, he should be glad that she was willing to talk to him. Gwen is the villain on the show, but she was the victim when it came to Leo and Dimitri. With that said, Leo is Gwen&#8217;s redeeming quality so it was nice to see them getting along.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Why did Marlena have to ask Abe how Chanel was doing? Chanel is married to Marlena&#8217;s grandson. She could have checked on Chanel on her own. Marlena acts as if she&#8217;s not linked to some of the people in Salem unless it&#8217;s convenient. It&#8217;s bad enough she has no loyalty to the family, but then she acts like she&#8217;s not related to them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Johnny needed to stand up to Chanel. She had no problem acting like the decision to have chemo as well as the baby was hers. Did she forget that it&#8217;s his baby too? We know it&#8217;s her body, but it&#8217;s his baby too. She acts like his thoughts don&#8217;t matter one way or the other.
