She said despite what happened in his past, she doesn&#8217;t want to give him up. Leslie showed up while they were talking. Ted ripped into her and told her not to interrupt is time with Shanice unless it had to do with their daughter. Jan and Mona talked at Orphey Gene&#8217;s. While they were talking, Grayson showed up. Jan told Grayson not to give up on Ashley. Leslie showed up and overheard that Grayson had money problems. She offered him a job. Derek&#8217;s father Brian went to Ashley&#8217;s apartment. He said he was there to get Derek&#8217;s body so he could bury him back home. Brian gave Ashley Derek&#8217;s medal of honor and a ring box. Later on, Brian went to the police station. He refused to shake Jacob&#8217;s hand. Brian blamed Jacob for Derek&#8217;s death. When Jacob offered to help him get through the red tape to get Derek&#8217;s remains, Brian accepted it. Jacob told him that Derek would always be a hero to him. Brian walked away.\u00a0Later on, Elon and Ted had a press conference at the hospital about the plasma ring and Lia&#8217;s involvement in it. A reporter asked about Derek&#8217;s death. Leslie pushed Elon out of the way to defend her clinic.
