Thomas comes by to visit and they talk about her pain. Steffy is down to her last pain pill. Thomas tells her if she\u2019s still in a lot of pain, she should get a refill to help her get through the worst of it, but Steffy brushes him off, saying she\u2019s got a doctor\u2019s appointment next week and her ER doctor has been checking on her. Her doctor wants to step down to over-the-counter medication, and she agrees so she can remain available for her daughter. As Thomas is getting ready to leave, he offers to help Steffy with anything she needs, including grocery shopping. She appreciates it but tells him she\u2019ll be fine\u2026 then she takes her last pill.<\/p>\n<p>In Brooke\u2019s bedroom, Donna comes in to offer support for Brooke, who is still distraught, thinking about her last conversation with Ridge. Brooke still can\u2019t accept that her marriage is over and that Ridge is now married to Shauna. They discuss how it could have so easily happened. Brooke thinks Ridge was plied with alcohol and dragged to the altar, whereas Donna thinks he just got caught up in the moment, as people do after they\u2019ve been drinking and gambling. And Donna says that\u2019s why they invented annulments. Donna tells Brooke that she\u2019s sure Shauna would give Ridge the annulment, knowing he\u2019s still in love with Brooke. Brooke is having a difficult time believing Ridge could love her when he could so easily commit himself to another woman. Meanwhile, Ridge returns to the Forrester mansion just as Quinn and Shauna are concluding the conversation about their secret. Ridge is tired and decides to go to bed. Quinn urges Shauna to go after her husband so she can comfort him. When Shauna goes to Ridge\u2019s room, she tells him that she\u2019s his wife now and wants to act like one. She\u2019s going to leave him alone, but when he\u2019s ready, she wants to show him how much she loves him. Before she walks out, they kiss.
