They wanted to play it safe and stick to the status quo, and that&#8217;s not how you grow a company. It&#8217;s not how a company stays relevant. Well, you&#8217;re right, yeah. They weren&#8217;t prepared to take the leap. They didn&#8217;t. But you did. And I, for one, am proud<\/p>\n<p>to be a part of the ride.<\/p>\n<p>[chuckles] Well, there&#8217;s no one I&#8217;d rather be on this road with than you. Well, I used to think that it meant I was weak, letting myself feel things, you know? If I just stayed strong, I could just pretend like none of it was happening. I need to know the truth. Look, I know you said it wasn&#8217;t mine back then, but knowing what we do know now about Tom Starr not being Luna&#8217;s father, I have a right to know. I deserve the truth, and you need to tell me if I am Luna&#8217;s father. [heavy music plays] I&#8217;ve never met a woman quite like Daphne. She&#8217;s definitely a character. She&#8217;s unique. I love her style. I mean, I love&#8230; practically everything about her. I mean, her bluntness, her mystique. I think she&#8217;s a good fit for us. Had I paid attention to them, I wouldn&#8217;t have gotten involved with Poppy, as brief as it was. My mom has a way of charming people into believing that she&#8217;s a good person. Well, I didn&#8217;t know that she was like that&#8211; basically a carbon copy of my mother. You mean a woman who can&#8217;t be trusted, a total liar. A compulsive liar. My mom ran two paternity tests. You and my dad&#8211;nothing ever happened between you two.<\/p>\n<p>Of course not!<\/p>\n<p>Well, so then you knew what to expect with those results.
