You&#8211; you two have had a long and tangled history and I don&#8217;t know what I&#8217;m talking about necessarily. I don&#8217;t know how that feels.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, no, no. I should just&#8211; I should just stop venting about hope.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, you&#8217;re fine. You&#8217;re totally fine to vent. I mean, and by the way, you&#8217;re not at all wrong about sheila. She absolutely, inarguably is dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So you really believe that I have nothing to worry about with hope?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So the billboard next to the chateau, is that included in the budget?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Um, no. Uh, yes. I mean, yes.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: What about the one on michigan avenue? Katie.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Earth calling katie.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I&#8217;m so sorry. I&#8217;m so sorry. Um, what are&#8211; what are we talking about, I&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wow, I lost you there, didn&#8217;t I?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yes, I&#8211; that&#8217;s obvious, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, well, I&#8211; I know you too well. If something&#8217;s on your mind, you can tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: There&#8217;s just something I&#8217;m really having a hard time wrapping my head around, and&#8211; and it has to do with bill.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I still can&#8217;t believe I have a daughter. You are this remarkable young woman, and you are my child.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I&#8217;ve always wondered if I&#8217;d ever meet my dad, or even know his name. And now that I have you in my life, I mean, I couldn&#8217;t have picked a better dad.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: I&#8217;m so happy for both of you, and I am overjoyed that we&#8217;re all together. Finally, we get to be a real family.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Did bill do something?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Uh, well, not quite the way you&#8217;re thinking, but yeah, yeah, he did something with someone.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: What does that mean?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Bill has a daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: My house is your house. This is your home now.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I mean, this is insane, right? Last night, my mom and I slept in my apartment.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: And now we&#8217;re moving in.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I&#8217;m sorry. Can you tell we&#8217;re like a teeny bit excited?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, I don&#8217;t know who&#8217;s more excited.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Well, I just can&#8217;t believe this is our new life.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hope needs to stop making excuses for sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Is&#8211; is that what she&#8217;s doing?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, she&#8217;s giving her grace. And she deserves zero forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, we completely agree on that. I just&#8211; the problem is finn would say it&#8217;s more complicated.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Finn&#8217;s emotions around his biological mother are already mixed up as it is. And now hope is promoting a relationship between them? The last thing I need is hope to be spending time with my husband.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hope? Hope? Hey. You&#8211; you okay? What&#8211; what&#8217;s going&#8211; I lost you there for a second.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um, what&#8211; what were you saying again, I&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Um, oh, I was just saying how much I admire you and respect you. You embody the name of your line. Hope for the future. Auntie, you can&#8217;t put that right in the dishwasher.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: So, will has a brand new half-sister, if you can believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And you said she&#8217;s in her early 20s and that bill just found out?<\/p>\n<p>Kate: Yeah, the mother kept it to herself. She didn&#8217;t even tell her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So nobody knew?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: No.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Why not reach out to bill? Give him a chance to be in his kid&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, apparently she wasn&#8217;t 100% sure that bill was the father. And I guess she didn&#8217;t wanna look like a gold digger.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So she just comes out of the woodwork and gives him a paternity test?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Pretty much.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: This is a trip, katie. Wow, a trip for all of you.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah, well, that&#8217;s not all. Bill&#8217;s daughter is someone you know. Someone you see every day.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Who?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Luna.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wait, luna, rj&#8217;s girlfriend?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Uh-huh, yeah. The woman that bill was grooving with in golden gate park was luna&#8217;s mother, poppy.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: It&#8217;s just been the two of us for so long, and we&#8217;re used to living in these tiny rentals.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: But you always made them look so cute, though. It never felt small to me.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, that&#8217;s because they were filled with a tremendous amount of love.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: That&#8217;s right. And that&#8217;s exactly what we&#8217;re gonna do here. Fill this place with all the love and joy that we&#8217;ve missed out on sharing over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I&#8217;m just glad you both agreed to move in. And I&#8211; I know it&#8217;s happening quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No, no, I don&#8217;t wanna wait any longer. I wanna do all of the fun father-daughter things, and I wanna get to know you better. Dad.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Wow, dad. Hearing you call me that, I can get used to this.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: And don&#8217;t worry, we&#8217;ll contribute. We&#8217;re not freeloaders.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Poppy, come on. I mean, your&#8211; your presence here is more than enough. Worth its weight in gold.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Thank you, bill. You know, in a million years, I never would&#8217;ve imagined living with a man like you in a place like this. I truly am so grateful.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, first, hope and finn are at sheila&#8217;s memorial. Then they&#8217;re at sheila&#8217;s wedding. Do you think that hope bonding with my husband, she&#8217;s trying to get under my skin?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What I think is that finn is sheila&#8217;s son, hope is deacon&#8217;s daughter, and that&#8217;s the whole connection. That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, I know that she wants a connection with her father. I mean, yeah, fine. I&#8211; I get it. He never shot her. That&#8217;s the difference. He&#8217;s not a cold-blooded murderer, right? Look, I just want&#8211; I really want hope to back off. And stop putting my husband in these risky situations.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You okay?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh, yeah, I&#8211; I didn&#8217;t expect to feel this way.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, they&#8217;re unpredictable. Migraines can come up at the worst possible moments.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I didn&#8217;t see it coming. But thank you for being so wonderful about it all.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Is&#8211; is the throbbing getting worse? I mean, you look&#8211; you look a little flushed.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I do?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um, I&#8217;m&#8211; I am sure it will pass. I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It doesn&#8217;t look like nothing, hope. Be honest with me. What&#8217;s going on in that head of yours? (Vo) for over 50 years<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So your egomaniacal ex-husband is luna&#8217;s dad.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah, small world, right?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wow.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah, I mean, what&#8217;s funny is that wyatt and liam came into bill&#8217;s life kind of around the same age. I mean, will is the only child that bill has that he&#8217;s actually known since birth.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, do you think he&#8217;ll be into having a surprise sister?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Ah, he&#8217;ll probably be fine with it. I mean, he might even be excited about it. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: What&#8217;s not to like about luna, right?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: No, no, you&#8217;re right, you&#8217;re right. She&#8217;s smart, she&#8217;s talented. I guess we&#8217;ll all just get over the shock and welcome her into the family.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Mm-hmm. What about poppy?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: What about her?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: What&#8217;s your vibe on her?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, I&#8217;ve only met her once. But she raised a great daughter, so I guess I have to admire her for that.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Mm-hmm, yeah, you respect her as a woman mother to mother, but she&#8217;s still bill spencer&#8217;s former fling.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, bill&#8217;s allowed to do whatever he wants. We haven&#8217;t been a couple for a long time. You were my last relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, but still, how do you feel about bill having a child with poppy?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Now that you&#8217;ve had the official grand tour, what do you think?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Isn&#8217;t it remarkable, luna?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I mean, it&#8217;s like the most gorgeous mansion I&#8217;ve ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: And that&#8217;s saying a lot. She watches all those fancy real estate shows on tv.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, I&#8217;m glad you both approve.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I mean, it&#8217;s just incredible, everywhere I look.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: What&#8217;s incredible is that I have you two beautiful women in my life.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Thank you, bill, for your understanding and for welcoming luna into your life with open arms.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I mean, look, this is all a dream come true, and the house is beyond awesome, but&#8230; I&#8217;d move anywhere with you guys, if it meant that we could be a family.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Speaking of family, it&#8217;s time.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Time for what?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Time for you to meet one of your brothers.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I respect where you&#8217;re coming from. I really do. I just&#8211; uh, I would hate to see your old rivalry just get kicked up a notch.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s not about that for me.<\/p>\n<p>[ Cell phone chimes ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hope keeps messing with my marriage.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Um, it&#8217;s my dad, and he&#8217;s summoning me to the house, and he says it&#8217;s important.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, it&#8217;s fine, go. I&#8211; I really gotta stop venting to you. I&#8217;m really sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, you&#8217;re fine, and just do me a favor. Just for now, try not to get too upset about hope. I really don&#8217;t think that she&#8217;s doing this intentionally.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I really just want hope to stop encouraging my husband to hang out with sheila. She knows that is the one thing I told him not to do. And here I go venting again. I&#8217;m sorry. It&#8217;s just, hope spending so much time with my husband, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s really getting on my nerves.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Your&#8211; your cheeks are a bit pink. Are you&#8211; are you hot?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um, a little.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay, well here, let me&#8211; can I? Okay, well you don&#8217;t have a fever.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, that&#8217;s good. I&#8217;m sure whatever it is, it&#8217;s not a big deal.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay, well, I think that we should get to the bottom of what&#8217;s really bothering you.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, I don&#8217;t think&#8211; we don&#8217;t have to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: No, look, it&#8217;s okay. All right, really, I&#8217;m a doctor. It&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s a safe space. Whatever, you know, is ailing you, you can confide in me. Look, I know we already talked about decreasing your stress level, but are you feeling anxious?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh, that&#8217;s one way to describe it.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay, well, I&#8217;m here to help you, hope. So if you can, tell me exactly how you&#8217;re feeling.<\/p>\n<p>()<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So, katie, answer my question. How do you feel about bill having a daughter with poppy?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I&#8217;m not really sure yet.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Still processing the idea, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Katie I&#8217;m just trying to figure out how I should feel.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It&#8217;s definitely a significant turn of events. There&#8217;s no manual for this kind of thing.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: On the one hand, it doesn&#8217;t really affect my life all that much. I guess I just don&#8217;t know how to feel about will having another sibling.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And bill having another baby mama.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: All right, well liam should be here any minute. I am very excited for him to meet his new sister.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Well, how do you think he&#8217;ll feel about adding a new member to the family?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I mean, I&#8217;m sure this might be a little weird for your sons. Do you think liam will be okay with it?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, make him be okay with it. Wyatt and will too.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I can&#8217;t wait to meet all of them.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Your brothers, sweetheart.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I know, I&#8217;ve always wanted siblings.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Hey, you&#8217;re not an only child anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Listen, liam is gonna love you. They&#8217;re all gonna love you. I promise. Everything&#8217;s going to be great.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knock on door ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, hi, dad. You, uh, you summoned me.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I did summon you. Come here, son. Liam, this is poppy.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Poppy, it is a pleasure to finally meet you.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: It&#8217;s really nice to meet you too, liam. Your dad has told me so much about you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Uh-oh.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: And this beautiful young woman is luna.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hi, luna. I have heard so much about you, but I promise, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s just the good things.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, things just got a whole lot better. We have confirmed that luna is in fact your half-sister.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I am feeling something.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s hard to put into words. I&#8211; I was in love with liam for most of my life, and then we got married, and we started a family, and yet I always felt like he had one eye on steffy. And then I became involved in thomas, in spite of the things that he had done to me in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, because you wanted someone to love you, and only you.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Exactly. And then, I don&#8217;t know, I&#8211; I got to know you. And you&#8217;re devoted, and committed, and it just made me realize some things that, while yes, liam is a good man, he wasn&#8217;t always true. And thomas was true, he just wasn&#8217;t always a good man. And then, I don&#8217;t know, just meeting you just made me realize that, like, oh wow, like the whole package can exist.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay, well, I&#8211; I appreciate all the compliments, but I&#8217;m certainly not perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, I mean, at least you&#8217;re perfect where it counts. I mean, you&#8217;re good to steffy. You are dedicated to your family.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You want that.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I mean, yes, I would like that for myself.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hope, hope, there are plenty of other guys out there like me. I mean, I promise. And you&#8211; you might have to sift through a few jerks, but you will find a great guy. A man who puts his wife and his family first. You deserve that. You deserve someone who excites you and makes you feel beautiful and appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I mean, that&#8211; that would be nice.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, well, hey, maybe I&#8217;ll set you up with one of my colleagues or something.
