I guess it&#8217;s kind of a waste that I sent out finn to get pizza, because they&#8217;re gonna be having a feast over there.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, it&#8217;s not a waste, because I want a slice.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, okay.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Aunt liam is hungry. Liam and his little friend, apparently. Where is finn, by the way? This is taking forever.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, actually. Yeah, I thought he&#8217;d be back by now.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Well, mrs. Sharpe, we did it.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: We did, didn&#8217;t we? Mr. And mrs.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope clears throat ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Congratulations, dad.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Thank you so much.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I like seeing you so happy.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Congratulations. It was A&#8230; beautiful ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: It was, wasn&#8217;t it? And you know what? Even more beautiful because you were here. Thank you. Thank you, finn, for&#8211; for being at my wedding, baby. Yeah, I don&#8217;t think I heard the knock, but of course we were, um&#8230; you know what? Doesn&#8217;t matter. It&#8217;s not a problem. Have you met my friend poppy?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I don&#8217;t believe I&#8217;ve had the pleasure. Nice to meet you, I&#8217;m katie.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Hi, it&#8217;s nice to meet you.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Likewise.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You must know her daughter, luna. She&#8217;s interning at&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh, yeah, of course! Of course, I love luna, she&#8217;s lovely.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Speaking of lovely children, have you given any thought to going and seeing will for parents&#8217; weekend? We gotta rsvp.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Oh, oh, oh. You know will. Talking with him on the phone only goes so far, but, yeah, yeah, I&#8217;m in.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay, good.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Oh, you&#8217;re that katie!<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah, that katie.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: That katie.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Nothing?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, he still hasn&#8217;t texted me back.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I mean, if he&#8217;s driving, that makes sense, right? Like, he&#8217;s gotta be on the road by now.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Or il giardino&#8217;s maybe a little slow. Deacon&#8217;s not there to call the shots, so.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That is true. I mean, that place descends into utter chaos every time deacon takes a day off to marry the local psychopath.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Maybe I shouldn&#8217;t have sent finn to il giardino.<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Um, I just&#8211; you need to sign right here, uh, right next to hope.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You&#8211; you really need two?<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Well, two&#8217;s better than one. I mean, you did witness the wedding, didn&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. Yeah, I did.<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Well, then here you go. Right there. Great. I&#8217;ll get this right over to the county recorder&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey, tom. Hey. Listen, I just wanna tell you, sheila and I, we will be forever grateful to you. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah, we couldn&#8217;t have done this without you.<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Oh, no, please. I forgot how much I enjoyed doing these. I mean, it has been a long time. You know, I clean up pretty good.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Damn straight you do! Look at this suit. I picked it out. What do you think?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;ll tell you what, it makes your eyes pop.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m talking about more the ceremony, though. I mean, we wouldn&#8217;t have been able to do our vows at all if it wasn&#8217;t for you.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Aww. Our parents grow up so fast, don&#8217;t they?<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I still can&#8217;t believe this just happened. I mean, I really just stood up for sheila carter as her maid of honor. [ Laughs ] But the, uh, reception has been lovely.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. No, it&#8211; it has.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Both chuckle awkwardly ] Well, I&#8211; I could see that it meant a lot to her, you being here.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. I mean, I just was completely blindsided. I thought that&#8211; I thought they were getting married at the beach. I mean, I came here to pick up some pizzas.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, pizza with a side of &#8220;I do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, well, it&#8217;s something that&#8217;s gonna take some explaining.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: To steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. She&#8217;s not gonna be thrilled about this. Not thrilled at all.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Toe?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Mmm.<\/p>\n<p>When dry eye symptoms<\/p>\n<p>Bill: So, did will tell you that his streak of a&#8217;s continued on his latest exam?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: No! He&#8217;s not an open book with me the way he is with you. I have to, like, pry out every little, tiny tidbit.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: No, you see, that&#8217;s what happens when you&#8217;re the favorite parent.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh, yeah, right. Sure. [ Chuckles ] Sorry. You don&#8217;t need to listen to us debating parental rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Oh, no, I don&#8217;t mind. It&#8217;s a funny concept to me, actually. I raised luna on my own, so I got to be the favorite parent by default.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, you did a wonderful job. She&#8217;s super smart. She helped me tremendously with a project that we just finished today, actually.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Thank you. That makes me really happy to hear.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: And you know what&#8217;s funny? She never once mentioned that her mom was friends with you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You know, if you hadn&#8217;t given finn that ultimatum, he could very well be at sheila&#8217;s wedding right now.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, I don&#8217;t think he would have gone. Okay, maybe he was entertaining the idea, and you&#8217;re right. I&#8217;m glad that I spoke to him.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Do me a favor, if nothing else, for kelly&#8217;s sake: Look out for that husband of yours. Make sure he doesn&#8217;t get conned again.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, I&#8211; I will. I&#8217;ll be there for finn. No matter what sheila throws at him.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Now, come on. You sure I can&#8217;t, like, toss you the garter on the way out?<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Oh, no, no, no. Please, please. Um, so, uh, where&#8211; where are you going after this?<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Well, I&#8217;ve got a motel room for the next couple nights, but, you know, after that, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s kinda iffy.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I was thinking that maybe you could come back during business hours. Look, tom, I know that you&#8217;ve hit some hard times, like a lot of good people, and I&#8217;d like to talk to you about working here.<\/p>\n<p>Tom: Really?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah. I mean, the pay&#8217;s good, and as an added bonus, you get all the free food you want, even on your days off.<\/p>\n<p>Tom: You know, I don&#8217;t know much about the restaurant business.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey, that&#8217;s okay. I&#8217;ll train you myself. Just think about it, okay? And you come back real soon. Hey. I&#8211; I know you&#8217;re a little nervous about how steffy&#8217;s gonna react to this, but, uh, you had no idea that this was going to be going on here, so I hope that she will be understanding. And besides&#8230; your parents are happy, and I think that should count for something.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I don&#8217;t think steffy&#8217;s gonna see it that way.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Who knows? They&#8217;re going for a swim. And haynes is sleeping. Wait, did you not get my texts?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, I don&#8217;t know. I was&#8211; I was on silent.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Uh, why did you have it on silent?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Uh, liam, you were&#8211; you were headed out, right?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yep, sure was. Uh, I&#8217;ll come back for kelly.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, you got it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens, closes ] What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay, um&#8230; okay, you&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re never gonna believe this. I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8211; I go to the pickup window at il giardino, and it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s closed. So I go into the restaurant to get the pizzas, and, um&#8230; there they are. And I never thought that they would be there.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Who?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Sheila and deacon. Always dry scoop before you run.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: So, you&#8217;ve known each other for years?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: We have. You could even say that, um&#8230; I had him first.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Hmm.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Deacon &amp; sheila laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey, you know I had to do it! I had to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh, my gosh. Okay, what we got?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: That&#8217;s not bad.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: That&#8217;s not too bad.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What do you think? Is that the one?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Look at your smile. And look at finn, too. That&#8217;s definitely the one.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone chimes ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I still can&#8217;t believe that he came. To our wedding. Wow. I mean, just &#8217;cause you&#8217;re his kid doesn&#8217;t mean you have to support everything he chooses. Hell, even finn found a way to say no.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What? What?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8211; I wasn&#8217;t the only one there at the wedding. I mean, finn was there, too.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Finn was at the wedding? Today?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: We knew the wedding was today. We just&#8211; we thought it was at the beach.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, but why were deacon and sheila there? We placed an order at il giardino. They probably knew that you were coming, so they ambushed you. That&#8217;s exactly what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: No, no. They didn&#8217;t ambush me, okay? They were just as surprised to see me as I was to see them. And hope was there, too. Apparently she decided to be sheila&#8217;s maid of honor. And tom, the, um&#8211; remember the homeless man I told you about, the one that helped lead us to sheila? Believe it or not, he was there and&#8230; performing the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So you actually walked in, into the ceremony?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. Look, I&#8211; steffy, I just&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone chiming ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, wait. Just wait for one second. I wanna make sure that the kids are&#8211; the kids are okay. Just&#8230; oh, my god. Oh&#8230; my god. What am I looking at? It&#8217;s a picture of, uh&#8211; a wedding photo of deacon, sheila and you? You&#8217;re standing right next to her!<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I mean, I realize that looks like&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You were there!
