I mean, I thought– I thought I lost you and that we would never see you again.

Sheila: Yeah, well, I– I am right here and I’m not going anywhere. And I never want to be apart from either of you ever again.

Deacon: You think I’d let you? You’re stuck with me.

Finn: Stuck with us. We’ve been through a lot. But deep down, I always… I always thought that if we just had the time– the time to fix things and to– to heal, and that if you did the work that one day, you know, maybe we could build a relationship. But then when I thought you died, it just… I just don’t want to be apart from you either.

Hope: Wow, this is all great feedback. Thank you. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about this meeting. I thought you might be pulling back on our budget given that thomas has stepped down as our lead designer.

Carter: Topic came up.

Ridge: It did. Because hope for the future has gone through a bit of a transition. And we’re all aware of that. All aware that you’ve surrounded yourself with really good people. It’s a good group. Zende and rj, I mean, they… they’ve come up with some really cool stuff already and they’re only going to get better. Luna’s going to pick up the slack. We’re going to be okay.

Hope: Thank you for that vote of confidence. And I will be sure to stay on top of them. You know, make sure that the communication and creativity keep on flowing.

Steffy: Sorry, sorry. I’m– I’m late. Sorry.

Ridge: Steffy, you all right?

Steffy: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um…

Ridge: What’s going on?

Steffy: Let’s get to work. No, nothing. It’s nothing, dad.

Ridge: Steffy. I just want this nightmare to be over. Deacon keeps going on and on about sheila being alive and it needs to end.

Carter: It’s tough to move on when deacon won’t stop bringing sheila back into your lives.

Ridge: He just doesn’t know when to quit, does he?

Hope: All right, well, I apologize for my father once again. I will go speak to him. And I will do that right now.

Steffy: Well, tell him to stay away from finn because we’re done with everything and anything that has to do with sheila.

Sheila: You… you never gave up on me even when everyone said you were crazy for thinking I was alive.

Deacon: I couldn’T. I know you. I know your heart. It never made sense that you went after steffy. Then, I saw the ten toes.

Sheila: No, you only saw them because you wanted to stay with me to the very end.

Deacon: I wasn’t ready to let you go. I wasn’t the only one. You know, I was going off about how you were still alive and sugar was killed and, you know, finn, he had every reason to write me off, but he didn’T. Just the possibility of you being alive was enough for him to help me find you.

Sheila: My hero.

Finn: Well, you too. You tried to save steffy and the kids from sugar. You tried to protect my family.

Sheila: Of course I did because they’re my family too.

Deacon: It’s like I’ve been saying. Yeah, sheila’s done some terrible things, but there is good in her heart. Her love for you and your family, it’s real. You have to see the power of redemption and rehabilitation. And I know you said that you believed that sheila tried to save your family, but finn, it’s not enough just to believe her. You have to believe in her.

Finn: Well, I do. I believe in you.

I have type 2 diabetes, but I manage it well

Ridge: You know, sharpe’s always been a desperate, selfish little man, but now he’s really lost it.

Carter: I’m really sorry you and finn are going through this, steffy. After everything sheila’s put you through, I was hoping this would be a season of peace for you two.

Steffy: You and I both. Sheila really rocked our marriage, and I wasn’t sure we’d ever be the same again.

Ridge: All right, but you’re working through it. You’re gonna get past that terrible night. You’re doing it.

Steffy: Yeah, but deacon’s gotten to finn’s head, really manipulating his emotions.

Carter: Yeah, but maybe hope can get through to him. If anyone can, it’s her, right?

Ridge: All right, don’t read into it. He’s probably just busy.

Steffy: I’m just, I’m getting a real weird vibe.

Charlie: Hi. Sorry, am I interrupting?

Ridge: Hey, charlie. Remember when we talked about, like, western civilization, that there’s a closed door and what it means? Remember how you’re supposed to knock? We talked about this. Try again.

Carter: So, you’re getting a vibe?

Steffy: Yeah, I am. It’s just, it feels so odd and–

Ridge: Hang on. Here it comes.

[ Knocking on door ] Hey, charlie.

Charlie: You have a minute?

Ridge: Yeah, come on in.

Charlie: Well, it seems like we have a showdown. And not the fashion kind. It seems that ms. Lucas the head of accounting, is parking over the line into mr. Scott’s slot, who’s the head of sales. And it’s about to get ugly out there.

Ridge: Okay, why are you telling me this? Just go fix it.

Charlie: Well, normally I would, sir, but, you know, as you realize, a man in my position can be quite intimidating. I thought you might want to de-escalate first. Besides, uh, ms. Lucas scares me.

Ridge: Well, that does sound like a very delicate situation. I’ll put my best man on it. My coo.

Carter: What?

Ridge: Go fix it. Yeah.

[ Carter sighs ]

Carter: Let’s go, charlie. Let’s go attend to this very important piece of business.

Charlie: Thank you, carter. I think you realize just how threatening a man like me can be.

Carter: I can tell by your little biceps.

Charlie: See?

Ridge: Hey. Whatever this vibe is that you’re feeling, it’s going to be okay. You and finn are going to work through it. And hope’s going to talk to deacon and he’s going to stop talking about sheila. You’re not going to hear about her ever again.

Finn: This is, um, this is all still setting in. And you being here and us getting a second chance.

Sheila: But you do believe it, right? That I– I really have changed.

Finn: Oh, yes, I do. You offered your life to protect my family, to try and save steffy from sugar.

Sheila: Regardless if steffy hates me or not, she’s still my family. You all are. It must have been devastating. Her thinking that she– she killed me, your mother. I– I’m sure that’s caused some tension in your marriage.

Finn: It did, yeah. Um… you were dead and it felt like steffy was slipping between my fingers.

Sheila: No. Honey, I would never want that because you deserve to be happy.

Finn: Well, I am now, knowing that you’re alive and that steffy didn’t kill you. It’s just, it’s unbelievable.

Deacon: You got that right. Imagine the shockwaves it’s going to send through los angeles and genoa city when people find out that sheila and her nine toes are still tapping.

Hope: Dad? Are you home? It’s me.

Deacon: Just a second. No, no, no. She’s going to find out eventually. There’s no reason to hide, okay?

Sheila: Are you sure?

Deacon: Yeah. I just got you back. I’m not going to pretend you’re not here.

Hope: Dad, what’s taking so long?

Deacon: I’m coming. Honey–

Hope: Dad, I know you’re grieving and I want to be here to help you, but you can’t keep going around town telling people that sheila– sheila is… sheila…

Deacon: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Auntie, you can’t put that right in the dishwasher.

Ridge: You know, when you were a little girl, you hit your head or skin your knee, you know, all I had to do was give you a hug, give you a kiss. Make everything better. But this, this woman, she almost killed you twice. And now she’s gone, but she’s still here in our lives. I don’t know what to do.

Steffy: Finn and I, we can– we can handle it. When life gets tough, we just, we fight. I’m just tired of fighting.

Ridge: Well, you know you don’t have to do it alone, right? I’m here for you. So is brooke and so is hope.

Steffy: Oh, dad, come on.

Ridge: She feels badly about what you– this whole thing with sheila and what deacon is doing, she feels badly about it.

Steffy: Think about all the terrible things sheila has done to our family. Even brooke, her own mother.

Ridge: She hasn’t forgotten about that, I’m sure.

Steffy: Okay, but she does have a soft spot for deacon, her father. She went to the memorial and I really don’t think that hope has the guts to tell her father stop with this ridiculous theory.

Ridge: Or maybe she’s the only one that can help us with that. They have a strange relationship, yes, but maybe she’s the one who can convince him that– that what he’s thinking about is not real.

Steffy: I– I honestly, I don’t care if hope changes deacon’s mind about sheila. I mean, he could stay in his house, and he could count toes over and over again. Hope just needs to convince deacon to stay away from finn.

Finn: Easy, easy. Elevate her leg. Uh, hope? Hey, hope. Hope.

Deacon: I got you.

Finn: Hey, hope. Hope, it’s finn. Your dad’s here.

Deacon: I’m right here, sweetheart.

Finn: Hope? Hope? Hey. Hey, hey. You fainted. It’s finn, it’s your dad.

Deacon: Sweetheart, I’m here.

Hope: Mm.

Deacon: Okay.

[ Hope groans ]

Finn: Whoa, easy.

Deacon: Sweetheart, sweetheart, look at me. Hope, hope, look at me. You’re not, you’re not seeing things.

Hope: No, no, sheila was stabbed.

Finn: Okay, just, let’s take some deep breaths, okay? Just easy here, in and out. Listen to me.

Hope: Sheila?

Deacon: What you’re seeing is real.

Finn: It’s true.

Hope: No, no, sheila was dead.

Finn: No.

Deacon: No.

Finn: Your dad was right all along. Everything that he’s been saying is true. Sheila’s alive.

Sheila: It’s really good– good to see you, hope. You look like you’ve seen a ghost, but I am– I’m– I’m not a ghost. It’s really me here in the flesh. I’m not dead. My mental health was better.

Steffy: Got anything stronger?

Ridge: Just get out of here. You wanna do that, go to malibu, take your mind off things?

Steffy: No, I’ve already let sheila and this ridiculous situation take up way too much of my day. I need to work.

Ridge: I wish I could fix this for you.

Steffy: I love you, dad, but I can take care of myself.

Ridge: I know you can take care of yourself, I know that. You’ve always done that, but this is– this is too much. What you’ve been through, you’re still going through it.

Steffy: I took a life, dad. Even if it was a life not worth living.

Ridge: It wasn’t worth living. That woman, that awful woman, everything she touched has turned to misery.

Steffy: Yeah.

Ridge: The only good thing she’d ever done was, I don’t know, I guess give birth to finn.

Steffy: Oh, god. I can’t believe that monster gave birth to finn. I mean, finn is just such a good guy. So genuine and… god, he didn’t deserve any of this.

Ridge: No. But he’s got li now, right? So, that’s good. And I’ve got to believe that whatever deacon is selling him, he’s not buying.

Steffy: No. No, of course not. But deacon’s getting into his head. He is. And finn does have this weird connection to sheila.

Ridge: Why? What did she do? Nothing. She gave him life and then she almost took it away again. What is the connection? I don’t get it. Look, what if kelly and hayes had been there?

Steffy: No, no, no. Don’t even– don’t even say that. I don’T… sheila’s gone. She’s gone for good.

Sheila: I’m sorry that I startled you and made you faint.

Deacon: Honey, I wasn’t crazy. My eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. I knew what I saw at the crematorium.

Hope: No. No, it’s– it’s– it’s impossible.

Finn: I thought the same thing.

Deacon: After I saw the toes, I saw some text messages on sheila’s computer. They were with a woman named sugar.

Hope: Sugar?

Deacon: When lauren fenmore came to town, I asked her about it, okay? Because there’s no one who knows more about sheila than lauren. And when I mentioned the name sugar, you should have seen lauren’s face. She told me about how years ago, sheila tricked sugar into getting cosmetic surgery to look exactly like her. And eventually, sugar got sent to the– to the mental ward and everyone thought it was sheila.

Finn: Look, the– the two looked identical.

Deacon: Well, identical, except for the fact that sugar has ten toes. Sheila has nine.

Sheila: She wanted revenge. Sugar abducted me and she chained me up in an old warehouse.

Finn: Her plan was to break into my home, harm steffy and the kids and have sheila take the fall.

Hope: So, steffy didn’t kill sheila?

Finn: No.

Deacon: I mean, it all comes back to the toes. Those nine beautiful toes and that one missing digit.

Sheila: Yeah. I– look, I’m– I’m not proud of– of what I did to sugar. I’m not proud of a lot of things that I’ve done. Mistakes that I’ve made. But I’m– I’m a better person now. I’ve changed. And I’d– I’d never go after steffy. I’m– I’m not that person anymore.

Finn: And, look, I understand how you feel, hope. Even when deacon told me about sugar, I didn’t fully believe it until I saw sheila with my own eyes. And I– I– I can’t explain why, especially with everything that has happened in the past, but… I’m glad that we found you. And that I’m gonna be able to have a second chance with you because sheila’s my birth mother. And she’s alive. My birth mother’s alive.

Back to the B&B Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Bold & The Beautiful Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne Finn: I mean, I just– I still can’t believe it that you’re here and that you’re with us.
