You need to keep eating and drinking. You were in that warehouse a long time. I– I’d still like to get you to the hospital so we could check you out.

Sheila: No, I– I’ve got the most amazing accomplished doctor right here. I’m fine. I’m– I’m home.

Deacon: You’re alive.

Finn: I’m just glad we found you.

Sheila: Me too. I was so scared. I did everything I could to protect steffy and the kids.

Finn: Yeah, and– and we told you, all right? They’re okay.

Sheila: I– I didn’t– I didn’t care what she did to me. I just– I wanted to protect them.

Steffy: Kelly should be home any minute.

Liam: Oh, nice. It’s good we don’t have to worry about sheila anymore just when our daughter’s out with her friends.

Steffy: Huh. Yeah, tell me about it. I thought this morning, “god, I hope kelly doesn’t get a tummy ache from all the candy and ice cream.” My biggest worry, candy and ice cream.

Liam: Everything else good though? No other concerns?

Steffy: No, kelly’s just really excited to see you.

Liam: Oh, yeah. I’m excited to see her too. I, uh, I mean, I’m glad I got to see you for a second beforehand. I just wanted to check in. I mean, I know you’ve been dealing with a lot. I feel like maybe time has given you a chance to put the sheila stuff behind you.

Steffy: Trying. I mean, logically, there’s nothing wrong. There’s no reason to feel anxious, I– I’m just really worried about finn.

Liam: I guess I thought you and finn already dealt with all his sheila baggage.

Steffy: Well, no, I don’t– I don’t think it could be about that. I mean, sheila’s dead. How could it be about her?

Liam: Yeah, right.

Steffy: I just–

Liam: But?

Steffy: I don’t know, liam. I have this really weird feeling.

Liam: Like what? What’s the feeling? Like that finn is not over it? Or…

Steffy: Finn can’t be over it. Because of deacon. Everything that he’s saying.

Liam: Okay, yeah, which is– all of that is ridiculous.

Steffy: It’s ridiculous. It’s so, it’s so delusional. And finn told deacon to stop it and move on.

Liam: Well, clearly, deacon didn’T.

Steffy: Well, clearly. It’s really stressing out finn. I can see it. I can see it weighing on him. And– and I try to calm him down, but the way he was this morning, the way he was acting, and the way I feel right now, I know he’s not in a good place.

Sheila: We’ve got to find sugar. You’ve got to call the police. She’s gonna hurt steffy.

Finny: No, hey, we told you, okay? Everyone’s fine.

Sheila: No, no, no, no, you don’t– you don’t understand. She’s out there and she’s– she’s dangerous and they’re– they’re not gonna know because she– she looks like me. She’s got my face.

Deacon: We know. Yeah.

Sheila: No, she– she wants to hurt my family, to punish me. She wants me to go to jail for her crimes.

Finn: Yeah, well, that’s not going to happen, okay? Trust me. Right now, our focus is on you and making sure you’re okay.

Deacon: Sugar’s not going to hurt anybody again. Especially you.

Finn: Nobody will. And we’re going to make sure of it. At dot’s an ordinary pretzel just isn’t enough.

Steffy: Voicemail.

Liam: Are you not gonna leave a message?

Steffy: Already did.

Liam: Hey, look, uh, finn’s working, right? So maybe he’s just busy saving–

Steffy: A life.

Liam: I–

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: Maybe that’s what’s going on for you though. Maybe it’s just the fact that finn is always in these life or death stakes situations.

Steffy: It doesn’t usually affect me like this.

Liam: No, I– I get that. But you’ve been under your own stress lately. And then you add finn and your concern for him to that, and it could compound and it could be a whole thing.

Kelly: Bye, becky! Thank you! I had fun.

Liam: Who is that?

Kelly: Daddy!

Liam: Ah! There’s my offspring.

Kelly: We went to a bead store. I learned how to make bracelets.

Liam: Ooh, that sounds fun.

Kelly: Want to make one? I can show you.

Liam: I was just thinking I want to make a bead bracelet, but first, something very important. I have to give my daughter a hug!

[ Liam laughs ]

Sheila: So, uh, how did you say you found me?

Deacon: It wasn’t easy.

Sheila: How did you know about sugar? You said lauren fenmore said something?

Deacon: Yeah, lauren was in town. She was visiting eric. Came into the restaurant. I told her about those text messages that I found on your laptop. And I also told her that i thought you were still alive.

Sheila: So lauren also thought that I was dead?

Finn: Yeah, everybody did.

Sheila: Well, she must have been thrilled about that.

Deacon: She came up with the information I needed. Pieced it together and it started to make sense.

Finn: And lauren explained who sugar was and how you guys looked alike and how she tried to frame you.

Deacon: That was the key. I mean, I wasn’t going crazy. I wasn’t seeing things. See, after the memorial service–

Sheila: Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, wait. You had a memorial service?

Deacon: Saddest day in my life. Finn was there.

Sheila: You were? God, I feel awful that you guys thought that I was– I was dead and that you had to have a memorial service.

Finn: Well– well, deacon, he wanted to give you a proper goodbye.

Deacon: It’s a good thing I did because otherwise, we may never have found you. Might not have even known to look, but because of your, uh, beautiful nine toes, I started to piece it together.

Sheila: What are you saying? That me cutting off my toe somehow saved my life? It– it brought me home?

Deacon: Kind of.

[ Deacon and sheila laugh ]

Sheila: Okay. Fine lines? Make an appointment with this.

Steffy: You’re pretty good at this, liam.

Liam: Thank you. Had a good teacher.

Kelly: That’s a pretty one, daddy.

Liam: Well– well it’s for you, so I’m really glad you like it.

Kelly: I made this one for you. Next, I’ll make one for you, mommy.

Steffy: Thank you, sweetie.

Liam: Oh, my god! Wait, let’s trade. This is amazing. I love it.

Kelly: You didn’t read it.

Liam: What did I not read? Oh! I– I-l-y-L. Is this a secret code? Am I in some new club? What is this?

Kelly: It means I love you lots.

Liam: Oh! That’s so funny, because I love you lots. Come here!

[ Steffy laughs ] Whoa!

Steffy: Okay, sorry to interrupt, you fantastic artist, but kelly needs to wash up.

Kelly: Daddy’s not leaving?

Liam: Oh! Not yet.

Kelly: I’m so happy when we’re all together!

Liam: So am I!

Sheila: Oh, so… how did my toes save me? And you– you had a memorial service for me, and you were there. Why– why– why did you think I was dead? That I didn’t just skip town or something?

Deacon: We had good reason, though it didn’t make sense. It wasn’t ’til after the memorial when I really started putting it together. I was saying my final goodbyes, and I pressed the button.

Sheila: Wait, wait, wait. You pressed a button?

Deacon: At the crematorium.

Sheila: Oh, my god, I– what are– what are you talking about?

Deacon: I wanted to see you off through the end, so I went to the cremation. I, um… I kissed you on your head and I pressed the button to start the process, but before you went in, the sheet that was covering your body, it fell, and I saw the toes. I saw 10 toes, and it– it didn’t make any sense to me, because I– I’d seen your face there and at the morgue, and I tried to stop it, but I couldn’t stop it. I thought I was going insane. But then– then I realized once I talked to lauren, I–

Sheila: No, it’s– it was sugar.

Deacon: That’s when I started putting it together. I knew you never could have attacked steffy.

Sheila: Wait, you just told me that steffy and the kids were safe.

Finn: Yeah, they are. They are.

Deacon: I get it. Your head must be spinning. Imagine me after seeing the toes. I mean, I’m trying to figure this out, and I’m telling everybody that I think you’re still alive. I– I sounded like a madman.

Finn: Everyone thought he was. I mean, he wouldn’t let it go.

Deacon: I had moments where I doubted myself, so I dug in. I– I started looking at, you know, the texts, and that’s when I came up with the name sugar, which didn’t mean anything to me until I talked to lauren and she told me… about your history, and why sugar hates you, and it made sense to me that she would– she would want payback. I figured that she did something to you, that she locked you up somewhere. We had to find you, so I– I started going through your phone records and your– your credit card receipts.

Finn: And there was a charge at a convenience store in a strange part of town.

Deacon: So we drove there, and we started questioning people and showing your photo. And tom, thank god for tom.

Sheila: Who?

Deacon: Yeah, this homeless guy who saw your face, it was sugar.

Sheila: So you never gave up.

Sheila: Oh, wow. My love. And my son. You both saved my life. Thank you. So, uh– so, sugar?

Deacon: Sugar’S… not gonna hurt anyone ever again.

Sheila: So, sugar’s really dead. How?

Deacon: Must have been that night that you tried to stop her at the warehouse.

Finn: It was steffy. Steffy killed sugar, thinking it was you. Nothing comes close to this place in the morning.

Liam: Kelly’s, uh, she’s reading a book.

Steffy: Kelly loves her books.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: And her daddy.

[ Liam laughs ]

Liam: We got lucky. We have a very, very intelligent daughter, which she clearly gets from her mother.

[ Steffy laughs ]

Steffy: And her creativity from her uncle and her grandfather.

Liam: Hey. Actually, I’m glad she even shares that creativity with me. By the way, thank you for giving us all this time.

Steffy: No, it’s– it’s nice to see you having so much fun.

Liam: Yeah, and I know it’s– it’s complicated and weird. You and finn are married, and you live here, and you’ve got your own schedules and routines.

Steffy: Yeah, and we usually get back to each other, but–

Liam: Still hasn’t called you back, huh?

Steffy: No. It’s not like me to be worried about nothing.

Liam: Well, yeah, but you’ve been wound up tight for so long, it’s probably gonna take a while to just unwind, you know?

Steffy: You’re not wrong about that. Everything that finn and i went through, navigating so many challenges, all because of sheila. Everything that happened here, that night.

Liam: You mean where you were just defending yourself and your family? Yeah, I know.

Steffy: Look, finn gets all of that, he does. But I have to say, you know, his connection to his mother at the beginning, it was confusing and complex. I talked to hope about it. I said, I hated seeing finn in so much pain.

Liam: While being in pain yourself.

Steffy: I just don’t know how much more of sheila our marriage could have endured.

Sheila: So… steffy killed sugar.

Finn: Yeah.

Deacon: Obviously, we didn’t know it at the time. The police identified the body, they took it to the morgue, believing it was you.

Sheila: What do you mean about me? What are you– what are you talking about?

Deacon: Sugar went to finn and steffy’S. She broke in.

Finn: Steffy was alone. And she thought it was you. The power was out and she grabbed a knife to defend herself. And when sugar lunged at her, she stabbed sugar in the heart. So– so… steffy believed that she killed me. Everyone believed that. And you, finn.

Finn: That’s not what happened. Okay, my wife didn’t kill my mother. My– my mother is alive.

Sheila: You’ve just called me your mother.

Finn: That’s what you are. You’re my birth mother. And losing you, it… it made me realize that… this connection… it is real. And it killed me to think, despite everything that has happened in the past, I wouldn’t get to… to see you again. My mother didn’t die. And you didn’t attack steffy. You tried to save her. Just like you did with kelly at the beach that day. And that is who you are working to be. That’s who you are now, right? That’s how much you care. And I know that you’ve been saying that you’ve changed, and– and deacon, he’s been– you know, he’s been saying it too, but… I believe you. Mom, I believe in you.

Sheila: My son.

Finn: Yeah.

Sheila: Oh, my precious baby boy. I love you. I love you so, so much. I just– I never want to be apart from you again.

Finn: Look, I don’t want that either. And I won’t be. I promise you. Okay? I promise.

Sheila: Oh, look at you.

Steffy: Sheila carter is now a bad memory. She can’t hurt us. She won’t be part of finn’s life ever again.

Announcer: Here’s a look ahead.

Liam: Sheila doesn’t have power over you.

Steffy: Or finn.

Hope: No. Sheila.

Sheila: It’s really good– good to see you, hope.

Finn: It’s the truth. She’s alive. My birth mother is alive.

Back to the B&B Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Bold & The Beautiful Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne [ Funky music ] Deacon: You want some more water?
