But don\u2019t worry, my work will get taken care of.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> Kind of short notice, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> It\u2019s Connor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> What\u2019s going on with our boy?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Connor has OCD and we\u2019re doing everything we can to get him through it<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n********************************************<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> Obsessive-compulsive disorder. I\u2019ve heard that term pertaining to adults, but rarely to children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> I didn\u2019t know that either.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> Ah.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> You know, when Connor first started having issues at school, we thought it was a learning difference, an academic issue. But then we found a doctor who made the diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> So, what\u2019s the cure?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> There is no cure. But there are tools that he can learn to manage the diagnosis. He needs something called exposure and response prevention therapy, erp. Chelsea found the best residential program in the country, and we\u2019re lucky enough to get the last spot. So, that\u2019s why we have to leave immediately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> Take my jet. I mean, I\u2019ll make the arrangements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Well, nick already made the offer. So, it\u2019s nice to know that we have your blessing, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> My boy, just know that whatever you and chelsea and connor need, you just come to me, all right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> That means more than you know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> Yeah, well, I know what it is like to have a child that suffers. And there\u2019s nothing you can do about it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> You know, we have to do this. It is the right move to make, but I don\u2019t want to let him out of my sight. Connor says that he hates himself. What do I do with that? I mean, how do I\u2013 how do I help him?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor:<\/strong> That breaks my heart, you know? You just continue doing what you and Chelsea are planning to do. I mean, it\u2019s the right move.
