I woke up in zende&#8217;S.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Could someone have drugged you?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No, no, I mean I was at the forrester house, not a club.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: How much did you have to eat?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Like barely anything. I probably had more mints than anything else.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Mints? You can&#8217;t tell him.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I have to tell him.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Okay, but you didn&#8217;t cheat. It wasn&#8217;t a betrayal. You were in an altered state.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I slept with another man, mom. How it happened doesn&#8217;t matter.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knock on door ]<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Have you heard from luna? Did she tell rj?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Wow, look at you. Hi. You wanna go for a morning walk on the beach? It looks really nice out there.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Sure, okay.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: It&#8217;s not okay. I mean, you&#8211; you&#8217;re obviously not feeling like yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I&#8217;m sorry, rj, I just&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Rj: No, no, no. Don&#8217;t be sorry. It&#8217;s okay. It&#8217;s okay. I just wanted to be with you last night. It was nice, you know, just being able to hold you. You falling asleep in my arms. I&#8217;m just guessing you didn&#8217;t get a lot of sleep, though. Look, I know a lot was on your mind last night, okay? And I&#8217;m sensing that there still is.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Oh, my god. What happened? What am I doing here?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: That&#8217;s what i asked myself when you surprised me here last night.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Whatever&#8217;s going on, you don&#8217;t got to worry about it. It&#8217;s going to be all right. I love you. Come here.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: It&#8217;s very&#8230; provocative.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Too provocative?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Maybe. Definitely too provocative for hope for the future, but I have a feeling that&#8217;s not what you were thinking about when you were designing this.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: What gave me away?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hm&#8230; something about the silhouette evokes A&#8230; raw sensuality.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You have a problem with raw sensuality?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know, my granddad&#8217;s right about us.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: How so?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, it&#8217;s just what he said earlier when we were with him. Or even the night he collapsed. He said that we&#8217;re not scandalous, the two of us. He also sees how happy I am with you. How happy we both are. And my granddad knows better than anyone, it doesn&#8217;t make sense to postpone happiness. Life&#8217;s too short for that.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: You shouldn&#8217;t just show up here like this.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: You want me to keep my distance? You do realize that&#8217;s next to impossible since luna and I literally work together?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Okay, yes, but&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Is she here?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: No.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: She didn&#8217;t come home last night? Have you heard from her?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Obviously, you haven&#8217;t either.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: What if she told rj? What if he knows?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: About what you did that night?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: What I did? I did not take advantage of her! She agrees! You&#8217;re the one who drugged your own daughter!<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Yes, well&#8230; okay, we&#8217;re both on edge. And neither of us want luna to destroy her life and future with rj over one terrible mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: No, you have nothing to be sorry about. Look, um&#8230; I know&#8211; I know we gotta get going soon, but I just want you to know that I love you. And this is&#8211; this is what I&#8217;m focused on right now. Just us, okay? And I just want to know what&#8217;s going on because I just want to help you. I promise you, nothing is gonna come between us. Ever. Special k is oven-toasted to crisp perfection<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know we&#8217;re lucky, having granddad&#8217;s support. You know, your mom actually looks up to him. Maybe&#8211; maybe he could help us convince her to be on our side.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: You mean put eric in the middle between his own grandson and a woman who will always hold a very, very special place in his heart?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, it&#8217;s a bad idea. Right. Okay, that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s fine. All I really wanted was my granddad&#8217;s blessing. You know, that means everything to me. Nope, strike that. You mean everything to me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mm-hmm. You keep talking like that, we aren&#8217;t going to get a lot of work done.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: If you&#8217;re thinking about work, then I&#8217;m doing something terribly wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, you&#8217;re not doing anything wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Oh, hey! Hi! Sorry. I, uh&#8230; my bad. So that&#8217;s what it&#8217;s like to be on the other side of this. I didn&#8217;t know you two were&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Working.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, yeah. And we were just taking a&#8211; a quick break.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Just a break.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: You know, that&#8217;s really funny because that&#8217;s exactly&#8211; it&#8217;s like word for word what I say when luna and i get interrupted. That&#8217;s funny.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Speaking of.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Speaking of. Yeah, where is luna?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, did she, uh, did she ride in with you?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Did she ride in with me? Is this your really subtle way of asking me if luna spent the night with me last night?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: No, we just&#8211; we don&#8217;t care.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Nope, nope.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: We don&#8217;t wanna know.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, you are two adults and we would never pry.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Never.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I just&#8211; I want to spend every second of every day with this girl. And it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s crazy. When we&#8217;re apart, I&#8217;M&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Just thinking about the next time you get to be with her. I know what that&#8217;s like.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. I mean, because I&#8217;ve like I&#8217;ve had other girlfriends, but this is just&#8230; it&#8217;s completely different because of who luna is.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, it sounds like you two are in a very good place.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, yeah and I think it&#8217;s only gonna get better.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Rj would never understand.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: That is why luna cannot tell him what happened between us. The fallout? I don&#8217;t even want to go there.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Well, neither do I. But knowing my daughter and how much she values the truth&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Luna should have never been in this situation and she wouldn&#8217;t have been if you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: If it weren&#8217;t for me and my special mints. Zende, I am aware.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: You&#8217;re a mother. I don&#8217;t get how you could be so irresponsible.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: I didn&#8217;t do it on purpose! I would never intentionally harm my daughter. I love her more than I love my own life.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: I&#8217;m not questioning that, but&#8230; you took something precious from her, poppy. From me, too. I really do care about luna. I would have liked to see where this could go, I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Okay, will you just put that out of your mind right now? Luna loves rj and he adores her and this will not ruin things for them.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: The only way it won&#8217;t is if&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Zende, what are you doing here?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Honey, you&#8217;re home. I was texting you all night and this morning. You spent the night with rj?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: I was so worried about you, honey.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: We both were.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Please tell me that everything&#8217;s okay. That you and rj, that&#8211; that your relationship is okay. I know that you were thinking about telling him. But, sweetheart, if you do&#8230; you have to protect what you found with him. Protect his heart. Protect yours. You two have so much promise together as a couple. Don&#8217;t jeopardize it by&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: By what, mom? By being honest with him?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: You&#8217;re not saying&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No, mom. I didn&#8217;t tell rj. And I feel awful.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know you waste<\/p>\n<p>200 hours a year<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Look at you. You can&#8217;t stop smiling, can you?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I don&#8217;t know. Thinking about luna does that to me.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, puppy love.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Stop.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I don&#8217;t know. You two have had some very special moments lately.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I will admit, though, um. Something&#8217;s been a little bit off recently.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: How so?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I don&#8217;t know. She&#8217;s just been kind of within herself.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, have you tried talking to her about it?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yes. I&#8211; I didn&#8217;t want to push. I just told her that I&#8217;m here for her if she needs me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I know she appreciates having your support. I&#8217;m sure she just has a lot going on right now.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: And that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m trying to be as understanding as I can.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: From what I&#8217;ve seen? You two, how you act around each other, the way that you talk about her, I think that you have what it takes to go the distance.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I think we all think that.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I think you&#8217;re right. I think we do have a real future ahead of us.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Rj thinks that I&#8217;m so pure and innocent. He thinks that I&#8217;m someone he can trust.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: And you are, honey. You&#8217;re all those things and more. That&#8217;s why rj loves you so much.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: But if he knew what happened? If rj knew about what happened between us zende?<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: There&#8217;s no reason to tell&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No reason? Mom, what about honesty? Or&#8211; or decency? Or integrity? Oh, right. I mean, who am I kidding? I&#8217;m talking to the mother who accidentally drugged her own daughter, so&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Luna, I told you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I know what you told me, mom. I know that you&#8217;re horrified about what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Yes, and I am horrified. But please, please don&#8217;t make a bad situation infinitely worse by confessing to rj. Why take that risk?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: We&#8217;ve always been so close, you and I. That was our power. But after what happened, and now knowing why it happened, I don&#8217;t know if we&#8217;ll ever be that close again. Or if it&#8217;s even possible.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: Oh, sweetheart. Please.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Just go. Now, please. I want a moment alone with zende.<\/p>\n<p>Poppy: You don&#8217;t know that that&#8217;s why&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Oh my god, mom. For the last time, zende did not take advantage of me. This was all you. All you and your mints.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: I hate what this is doing to you. If I could take it all back, I would. But since I know that&#8217;s not possible, maybe the only thing to do is to move forward. And I think I know a way how. A way for you not to feel so tormented about our night together. -We&#8217;re done. -What about these?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Ah, finally, privacy.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mm-hmm<\/p>\n<p>Luna: You&#8217;re everything I ever imagined. So kind and handsome. Who understands me and trusts and respects me. And loves me.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I love you.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I love you too.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I know you hate secrets. And I definitely hate this secret. When I&#8217;m with rj, and he&#8217;s telling me how much he loves and trusts me, like, I feel like such a fraud.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: You are not a fraud. You are wonderful. And none of what has happened has been your fault. You didn&#8217;t do anything wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Knowingly, no. That doesn&#8217;t change what happened, zende. You and I slept together. I mean, nothing is ever gonna be the same after this.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Like I said, I hate seeing you like this. You don&#8217;t deserve it. You are so amazing. You came into forrester, and you caught everyone&#8217;s eye. Not just rj&#8217;s, but mine too. Our night together, I realize now that you&#8217;d taken those mints and thought I was rj, but I knew that I was with you. I knew how incredible it felt from the moment I had you in my arms. Luna, I am crazy about you. And&#8230; um&#8230; despite everything, I have always thought that things happen for a reason. And the more I think about it, the more I think this might&#8217;ve happened for a reason as well. Maybe telling rj will make it easier.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Make what easier?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Easier for us to be together. I have felt this connection with you. And not just our night together, we&#8217;ve spent so much time together. I&#8217;ve opened up to you, and&#8211; and you&#8217;ve listened. I mean, I&#8211; I thought that we would be so incredible together. All this guilt and torment that you&#8217;re feeling, it will disappear. I know it will. Because I will spend every moment of every day making sure it does by making you happy. Give me a chance, luna. Give us a chance. Leave him. Leave rj.
