You&#8217;ve just been watching me?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: It&#8217;s just really hard not to.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Last night was&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, it sure was.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: It&#8217;s more than I could have ever dreamed of.<\/p>\n<p>[ Eric sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Hey. Are you hungry?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Uh, no. Actually, thanks. Not right now. Not right now.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Shouldn&#8217;t you two be at the office? Don&#8217;t you have that big important meeting with ronaldo this morning?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: How do you know about that?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Are you spying on us?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, if you&#8217;d let me come into the office, I wouldn&#8217;t have to.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We&#8217;d love to have you in the office. It&#8217;s not the same without you there.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I should certainly hope not. +Brooke: We do miss you and your sunny disposition. But there is this issue of your health.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes, we should be getting some news about that pretty soon. Finn&#8217;s on his way over here with my&#8230; my long-term prognosis. But then you two already know that, don&#8217;t you? That&#8217;s why they&#8217;re here, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Because we said no more secrets.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. Well&#8230; I&#8217;m happy for the company. I&#8217;m just hoping for some good news.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Dad, you fought hard. You deserve this.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey, eric. I&#8230; I just let myself in.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: We&#8217;re expecting you. I need to hear this news. What&#8217;s the&#8230; what&#8217;s my long-term prognosis?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Mm.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: What? What is it? What&#8211; what&#8217;s wrong? Are you&#8211; you don&#8217;t need to check your breath. You&#8217;re fine. Hey, luna. Seriously, it&#8217;s okay. Come on, with how close we are after last night?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Well, I wouldn&#8217;t want to do anything to turn you off.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Turn&#8211; that is impossible. Okay? You&#8217;re stuck with me.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: So, I met with the medical team.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And, you know, as you know, we&#8217;ve&#8230; had a battery of extensive testing.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: So, what is it? I mean, am I gonna get better? I&#8217;m gonna get back to full strength? Am I&#8211; how&#8217;s my quality of life gonna be? What&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Eric, your markers are right in line.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna gasps ] They&#8217;re better than what we had hoped.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Oh! Crack the science of stronger hair.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: How do you feel?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Um, truthfully?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I don&#8217;t really know how to put it into words. Like&#8230; all of these emotions are hitting me at the same time. The&#8230; waking up with you in your bed and lying in your arms. Um&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Go on.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Part of me wondered if I&#8217;d feel the same afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: The same how?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I don&#8217;t know. Like, maybe I&#8217;d feel like I&#8211; I lost something? Something special that I&#8217;ve been holding onto for years, but&#8230; it&#8217;s not like that. I mean, it definitely doesn&#8217;t feel the same. Like&#8230; I feel different. Like&#8230; more of a woman. More connected to another person. More connected than I ever knew possible. It was beautiful. You&#8217;re beautiful, rj.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So, this is it. We can all breathe again. The procedure was a success.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8211; I think this is cause for celebration, really.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It most definitely is. But small note of caution, you need to remain diligent, okay? As wonderful news as this is, you need to keep on the right track.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Oh, he will, won&#8217;t you, sweetheart?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Of course.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And see, this is exactly what I would expect from a medical dream team.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And you&#8217;re keeping bridget apprised too, I assume.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, yeah, of course. And to say that she was delighted and relieved would be an understatement.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Meanwhile, you have your whole family to support you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Or whatever else you need.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, well, what I need is to get back to work. I need to design. I need to be creative.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: He was up early sketching away.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, but not too early, though, I know. I agree that I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m going along with getting a lot of rest.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: See, that is your model patient right here.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: What your father has done, the effort, the determination, that&#8217;s what&#8217;s made the difference. I mean, that&#8217;s why he is where he is today.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You hear that? The whole medical community is impressed by you.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Well, you certainly impressed all of us.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: We are all blessed, eric. It wasn&#8217;t so long ago when you were struggling, facing what you were. And in the darkest hour, finn really came through for us.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Everyone had a part. You know, everyone was pulling their own weight. Especially this guy. Right there.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Now, finn, you&#8211; you saved my life. You did. And I thank you for that. And I&#8217;m gonna live this life the best way I can. I promise you that. (Vo) welcome to lobsterfest. Is your party ready?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And just like that, finn has gone back to the hospital to save more lives.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: No doctor is more dedicated.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: My daughter found herself a good one.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I think we&#8217;re all grateful that finn&#8217;s a part of our lives, especially since he brought you back to us, eric.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I have to say, a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I was worried about this. Been a long journey, you know. Every step&#8211; every step of it, just so challenging, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: It&#8217;s true, but you faced it head-on, and look where you are now.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: You&#8217;re here. You&#8217;re here with family. The people who love you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re right. He&#8217;s loved. Deeply loved.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Okay, I know how excited we all are.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughter ] But, um, I really think that you should lie down and rest. You were up at the crack of dawn sketching that.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, I was. I&#8217;m still invigorated. I mean, that&#8217;s what happens when you get good news like this, you know, it&#8217;s invigorating and, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Eric, please, honey bear.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Look, I want to celebrate this. I&#8211; I just feel wonderful. Why&#8211; why don&#8217;t we, uh&#8230; this is cause for a celebration. I want to have a party. That&#8217;s what I want to do. Let&#8217;s throw a party.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Okay, I&#8211; I understand your enthusiasm and, you know, I&#8217;m&#8211; we&#8217;re all feeling it.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Good, good.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: But I&#8217;m just not sure a party&#8217;s a good idea right now. I mean, yes, we got some positive news, but, um&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: But I think you really need to take it easy.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I will. I&#8217;ll take it easy. I will. But, uh, I definitely think this is a reason for us to celebrate. Let&#8217;s have a party. Tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: He&#8217;s right about that. He&#8217;s right.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I am, right?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Tomorrow night.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Tonight. Tonight. Let&#8217;s do it.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Not tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes. I know it&#8217;s short notice and people are gonna have a hard time showing up. It can be small. It can just be us. That would be all right. My&#8230; my objective is to celebrate, and I don&#8217;t wanna just celebrate me. I wanna&#8230; I want to celebrate you. You&#8217;ve been standing next to me so close through all of this, and&#8211; and&#8211; and you&#8217;re a big reason that I&#8217;m here right now. And so&#8230; I love you, donna.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: I love you too.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: So I&#8211; I&#8211; I&#8230; I want you to be there, and I want you to be there, and I want, uh&#8230; I want katie to come too. She&#8217;s a big part of this too. So katie and brooke and you, the logan sisters. That would be a good party right there, wouldn&#8217;t it? And rj. Rj has to be here too. Absolutely.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Of course. Yes, rj would love it.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, then, all right. I&#8217;m gonna call him right now. I&#8217;m gonna call him. Where&#8217;s my phone?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Can I get you anything? You want coffee or something to eat? I can&#8211; I&#8217;m not bragging, but I can make a very decent omelet.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Wait, I saw that post. It was, um, right outside of paris, right?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I, uh&#8211; confession though. I&#8211; real life versus social media, I think it took me 11 tries to get an omelet that was, like, postable.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Thank you. Good right here.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: What?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I don&#8217;t know. I&#8217;m just staring at you. Literally, I cannot take my eyes off you.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I don&#8217;t want you to. I mean, I could stay like this forever.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Oh, yeah? Well, you know what that would mean? That would mean that we never get out of this bed.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I think I could handle that.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Oh, yeah? You think you could handle that?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah. [ Chuckles ] I feel so close to you. After last night. Closer than I ever knew possible.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I&#8217;m so sorry. I would never answer this right now, I swear. I just&#8211; I know the ringtone. It&#8217;s my grandfather. I&#8217;d&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Luna: It&#8217;s okay. It&#8217;s okay. Go for it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Ringing continues ] Hey, granddad. What&#8217;s up?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Finn was just here, yeah, and he gave me a clean bill of health.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Really? Oh, that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s awesome. Uh, tell me&#8211; tell me everything.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, I will, but first things first. I want to invite you to a forrester family party here tonight. I want you to be there.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Okay. Tonight? Yeah. I&#8217;ll definitely be there.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Good. Any chance luna&#8217;s there with you?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Um&#8230; yeah. As a matter of fact, she is. Uh, why?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, good. I want you to bring her with you, all right?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Really?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. You love her, don&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I do.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Good. Look, if there&#8217;s one thing I&#8217;ve learned in the past few months is that, uh&#8230; in this life is that love is everything. If you love somebody, you hang on to her, all right? Don&#8217;t let her go.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: That&#8217;s exactly what I intend to do. Thank you, granddad. I&#8217;ll, uh&#8230; I&#8217;ll see you tonight. And&#8211; and congratulations again on the news.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: So, was that about your grandfather&#8217;s prognosis?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: It was, and he got some great news, which is awesome.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Oh, that&#8217;s wonderful. I&#8217;m so happy.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. Uh, and, uh, he also said that there&#8217;s gonna be a forrester family party tonight to celebrate, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: That&#8217;s cool. You should definitely go.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. Well, I am. And so are you. ()<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So, rj&#8217;s coming?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes. It looks like luna will be too.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, well, she should. She found your trusty stapler.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes, she did. It&#8217;s a wonderful thing she did. Yeah, let&#8217;s give her a raise. What do you say? Right?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay, I&#8217;ll look into it.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Okay, okay. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t mean to keep harping here, but, um, are you sure you&#8217;re up for this? I mean, we could just have a party in a week or two.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, no, no, no. No waiting. I feel like this has been a long time coming.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Wait, so fill me in. What happened?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Granddad asked me if you were here, so I said yes, and then he invited you to the party.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Me?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. Well, it&#8217;s not the first one you&#8217;ve been to. You went to the last one.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I know, but I just assumed that that was kind of like a courtesy thing. Or because we were dating or because I helped out on the line. So, you&#8217;re telling me that your grandfather, eric forrester, specifically invited me to the family party.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, he did. You know what else he asked me? If I love you. You know what I told him?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: That you do?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: It&#8217;s just the beauty and the brains, it&#8217;s just, it&#8217;s such a lethal combo, you know? He also said something really wise to me. That he learned over the last few months just how precious love is. And how I should hold on to the one I love and never let go.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I love you.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I love you too.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, donna and brooke, they&#8217;re all in. They already figured out the menu for your party.<\/p>\n<p>[ Eric chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No surprise there. It&#8217;s gonna be a wonderful party, I have no doubt about that. It&#8217;s gonna be terrific. What?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Nothing. It&#8217;s just, it&#8217;s nice to see you like this. Full of life, energy.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. I am full of life. Maybe not completely back. You know, I&#8217;m not sure that I&#8217;m ever gonna be&#8230; a hundred percent again, but, uh&#8230; I&#8217;m gonna do the best I can. I really am.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: But you do have the one thing that every person wants. You&#8217;re loved.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. Never gonna take that for granted again, I&#8217;m not. What happened to me changed my life forever.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: What happened to you? Like when you went on your little trip?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: When I went to the other side, ridge. I went there. There was&#8211; there was a feeling of love and peace there that I&#8217;ve&#8230; I&#8217;ve never experienced anytime in my life, and it felt&#8230; I felt like I was truly home there. Seeing your mother and&#8211; and the people that I knew in my life. I felt like I was home there. And that I was loved there. And I just hope to bring that feeling of love and peace&#8230; here.
