Mm-hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m so happy you&#8217;re here.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: How&#8217;s my, uh&#8230; how&#8217;s my grandfather?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, we&#8217;ve run some more tests and we&#8217;ll know more about his long-term prognosis soon.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, gosh, I am just so, so grateful. I mean, yes, I&#8217;M&#8230; I&#8217;m still nervous.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Granddad&#8217;s the cornerstone of our family. But you saved his life.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: There he is.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: The man of the hour. I feel like I haven&#8217;t said it enough. I just&#8211; I&#8211; we owe you&#8230; a great debt. You&#8211; you&#8217;re, um, what you did was amazing, and it just makes me realize how fleeting these moments are and how lucky we are to be here.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey, are&#8230; what&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Nothing. I&#8217;m all right. I&#8217;m just thanking him and, um&#8230; had a bit of a discussion with brooke about the usual thing.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Let me guess. It&#8217;s about hope and thomas. Of course.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighs heavily ]<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Now this&#8230; this is something special, rj.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, I&#8217;m feeling really good about it.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, it&#8217;s amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: You know that this is some of the most expensive real estate in the world?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, it&#8217;s probably why bill actually didn&#8217;t even want to get rid of it. I&#8217;m renting it from spencer, of all people, right?<\/p>\n<p>[ Zende laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Yeah, I, uh, I doubt that dollar bill would be cutting you a deal on this. A multimillion dollar home in malibu? Now, granddad, he must have cut you a huge bonus for you to be able to swing this place. Oh, hold on a second. What am I saying? It&#8217;s not coming out of your pocket. Ridge and brooke are so happy to have their son back home, I&#8217;m sure they&#8217;re paying for it, aren&#8217;t they?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Hey, you guys are family, and I hate to see this tension or rivalry or whatever it is.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: There&#8217;s no rivalry. I&#8217;ve already made a name for myself in this business. You&#8217;re just starting out. But it must be nice having the great ridge forrester giving you a boost.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s okay. Just brooke and I had a bit of a difference of opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: About hope and thomas? What? Something happened?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Something bad?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No. It&#8217;s not&#8211; well, I don&#8217;t know. It&#8217;s not bad. It&#8217;s, uh&#8230; it was unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, great. Now, I&#8217;m afraid to ask.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Your brother proposed.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: That was amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8217;ve, uh&#8230; I&#8217;ve never felt this way before. I don&#8217;t know what it is, but I just&#8230; I can&#8217;t get enough of you.<\/p>\n<p>[Coughing] I&#8211; of c me such a hard t<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Don&#8217;t misunderstand me, rj. I&#8217;m proud to be a part of this family. I know you are, too.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Then why are you giving me such a hard time about it, zende?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Because I don&#8217;t think you realize how lucky you are.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: How lucky I am? I&#8211; of course I do. I do.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Look, man, I wasn&#8217;t born into all of this the way you were. My life could have turned out very differently. I was left alone at an orphanage in africa. I was a scared, helpless little kid. I had no one. I lost both my parents. Until kristen, your aunt, adopted me. She has been a wonderful mother. She and my father, they love me. They support everything I&#8217;ve done. Always have.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: And they&#8217;re both designers too.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Yes, they&#8217;re great ones. But they don&#8217;t live in L.A. My mother is not here to have my back the way ridge has yours. Your parents run the company. Brooke and ridge are fashion royalty, and you&#8217;re the little prince.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No one treats rj like that, zende. I mean, he works just as hard as&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Zende: I know. I know he works, okay? And honestly, you guys did tear it up in preparation for the fashion showdown, but that isn&#8217;t the point I&#8217;m trying to make. I&#8217;m trying to make you understand where I&#8217;m coming from. I&#8217;m older than you. I have more experience. I&#8217;ve studied design for years. You&#8217;re just a couple months into it, learning at the knee of your dad and granddad. Be real, man. If you were in my shoes, you&#8217;d be frustrated too.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And so, thomas had the ring in his pocket?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Apparently, he proposed right in the office.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: That is so romantic.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, come on.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It&#8217;s a good thing hope is at least giving it some thought.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, she&#8217;s not gonna forget about it because it&#8217;s a necklace with a ring on it wrapped around her neck.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Steffy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So cool.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s a symbol of his commitment. Give him a break.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Symbol of his commitment? Really? How long is this gonna take?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I don&#8211; he&#8217;s gonna give her time so she can make up her own mind. That&#8217;s nice.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Make up her own mind?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Really? Okay, what if hope says no? What&#8217;s that gonna do to thomas? All of the progress he&#8217;s made? I mean, she has him just holding on. He&#8217;s like stuck in limbo. And I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a very healthy place to be.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I&#8217;ve never experienced anything like this before. You, your intensity, your passion. You just continue to surprise me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I don&#8217;t know. I think you bring it out in me.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Mm.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mm-hmm. This. I don&#8217;t know, it&#8217;s like it&#8217;s something&#8230; wild, uninhibited. And&#8230; you have a spark and it just ignites all of my desire. Ah mornings!<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Look, I&#8217;m always gonna have thomas&#8217;s back. But is this proposal a good idea? Or is it gonna throw him off track?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, you know where I stand. I&#8217;m just trying to be as supportive and understanding as I can be.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah, and sometimes that means taking a step back, letting grown-ups make their own mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: He&#8217;s&#8211; he&#8217;s your brother, he&#8217;s your son, of course you want him to work this out, but I can&#8217;t help but feel for hope after everything that thomas has put her through in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay. He&#8217;s not the same man anymore. He worked hard. He&#8211; he deserves love. He&#8217;s&#8211; he&#8217;s worthy of it.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I agree a thousand percent. But with hope?<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas and hope sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Wow. I don&#8217;t understand what has gotten into me. I can&#8217;t get enough of you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I see your perspective, zende, okay? And I just want to let you know that I respect the amount of passion that you have for design and for our company. And I get it. I see what you&#8217;re saying, right? You don&#8217;t want to be overlooked.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Or underestimated.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Or underestimated. Zende, you don&#8217;t have to worry about that, man. But I&#8217;m gonna give your designs a look, okay? I&#8217;ll probably learn a thing or two from them. All right? I will, uh&#8230; I&#8217;ll give them a look tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Tomorrow morning? Because&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah, I have plans with luna tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Oh. Okay then. I look forward to hearing from you&#8230; tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Hey, zende. I mean it. I get why you&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re frustrated, okay? But luna&#8217;s right, dude. We&#8217;re family and we used to be really close. And I hope we can be again.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Have a nice night. Bye, luna.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Think he heard me?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I&#8217;m sorry. I know how much you hate being at odds with him.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. Well, there&#8217;s only one person I&#8217;m focused on tonight. Attention medicare beneficiaries&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Now, if there&#8217;s, uh&#8230; no more interruptions.<\/p>\n<p>[ Luna laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Um&#8230; not yet.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: What do you think? Think we broke the curse?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Oh, we&#8217;re not cursed. We&#8217;re just, um&#8230; we&#8217;re popular.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Tonight, I want you all for myself.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: We&#8217;ve waited a long time for this. All my life.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. I want it to be a beautiful night. I want it to be perfect for you.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I want it to be a beautiful, perfect night too.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I agree with you, dad. Thomas has changed, but he deserves to be with someone who truly appreciates him and loves him. Hope can&#8217;t give him that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And you can&#8217;t blame her for being hesitant. So much has happened in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Let&#8217;s not worry about what happened in the past. Let&#8217;s just leave that behind us. Can we do that? Let&#8217;s worry about what&#8217;s happening now.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay. Thomas is having a great time with hope, but maybe&#8211; maybe he should be with someone who gets excited when he puts a ring on their finger.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: How do you know she&#8217;s not excited? Listen, I get it. You&#8217;re looking out for your brother, you don&#8217;t want him to get hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He could, dad.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Of course! We could all get hurt. That&#8217;s what happens. It&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s love. There&#8217;s no guarantees. That&#8217;s why we gotta be positive. Look at the good things, not the bad things. It&#8217;s too easy to do that. Look at you guys. You went through a lot. You&#8217;re still going through it, but you&#8217;re good. You&#8217;re better than you were. Am I right? I&#8217;m with brooke. We&#8217;ve had our ups and downs for sure, but we&#8217;re still here. If your brother wants to find&#8211; if he wants to find some happiness, let him have it. If he thinks he can find it with hope, let him try.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You&#8217;re so beautiful. This is what I want. All the time. Just to be with you, to love you, to touch you, kiss you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas sighing ] You say you don&#8217;t understand this. That&#8217;s &#8217;cause you never had this before. Never been with a man who wants to be with you and only you. Who cherishes you. Someone you can trust. Someone who&#8217;s given you his heart. &#8216;Cause I have. I&#8217;ve given you my heart &#8217;cause I trust you. And you can trust me too. You can trust me with your heart because I cherish it. I&#8217;m never gonna hurt it. You&#8217;ve experienced that pain before. But you never have to again. Hope&#8230; you can have that for the rest of your life. All you have to do is take this ring&#8230; off this necklace, put it on your finger. Say you&#8217;ll marry me, hope.
