Her marriage did just end.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yes, it did and I am very sensitive to that.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And if you were sensitive to that, you would give her some space.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know, if Hope wants space, she can tell me. And I&#8217;m just going to follow her lead on that.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, just keep your expectations really low. I mean, she may be caught up in this whole thing right now, but deep down, she&#8217;s really mourning the loss of her marriage to Liam.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Liam: You are my wife. Of course, I&#8217;m always going to care about you, Hope.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And I&#8217;m always going to care about you, Liam, but there&#8217;s a line, so you don&#8217;t need to worry about me. I&#8217;ve told enough embarrassing stories about my poor cousin.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No, I mean, did you really have to tell them about the carnival?<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Well, I thought it was adorable. It was adorable.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Like, clowns are scary. I mean, remember when I dressed up as one on Halloween and then you locked yourself in your room? [ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>RJ: I was two years old, Steffy. You gave me nightmares for years, do you remember that part?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, you guys both have a lot in common, then.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You two are really working well together. Helping our granddad with the line.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: I mean, that was exhilarating. It was, like, a total crash course on learning the fashion business and one of the biggest highlights of my life.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: She&#8217;s been crushing it. She did awesome, the whole thing.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: That&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve heard.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Steffy: I still can&#8217;t believe Dad let Granddad think he won the fashion challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It&#8217;s the sweetest gesture.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Sweetest thing ever.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And I respect Ridge enormously for doing that.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Me too.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey, RJ.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Why don&#8217;t you and I go for a swim in the ocean?<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Right now? Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: I&#8217;m super down. Always. Is that okay with you?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Absolutely. Go for it.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Sure?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Luna and I will be fine. Give us a chance to get to know each other better.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Thomas: Look, it&#8217;s always painful when a family splits up.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: But it goes beyond that. And I don&#8217;t think you realize, Thomas, how much she really treasured her life with Liam.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Liam: Well, that same feeling that I had when I married you&#8230; it&#8211; it hasn&#8217;t gone away. It&#8217;s still&#8211; it&#8217;s still there.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know how you expect me to believe that, Liam.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I could have done more to show it, but&#8230; I&#8217;m never going to stop loving you and that&#8217;s just&#8211; that shouldn&#8217;t come as a surprise to you because I think that you&#8217;re never going to stop loving me, either. That&#8217;s what I think.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Luna: Finn and I were super close when I was little. He was always the protective older cousin.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s good to have him in your corner.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I mean, it&#8217;s been a while. I&#8217;m just glad that we&#8217;re getting reacquainted again.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, Finn&#8217;s excited you&#8217;re here, and I can tell my baby brother is, too.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: All right, we&#8217;re heading out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey, now. Too bad it&#8217;s dark out. Look at those abs. Look at those pecs, baby.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: All for you, babe. See you in a bit, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Hey, don&#8217;t grill her too much, okay? Just take it kind of easy on her, please.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;ll try.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Be careful.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Right, we will.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Come on, come on.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: They&#8217;re crazy. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m too afraid of sharks.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, they&#8211; they are definitely crazy. But you should get out there at one point. RJ could teach you how to surf.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Okay, that I might be into.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can definitely tell you that you are into RJ.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Okay, well, yeah, I&#8211; I always knew he was in good shape, but, wow.<\/p>\n<p>[ Both laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, they&#8217;re two sweet guys. And got to say, they are easy on the eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah. Um, can I be honest with you about something, Steffy?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Thomas: Brooke, I mean, you should understand more than anyone, Hope doesn&#8217;t want to be with someone where his attention is divided, where she can be with someone who only wants her. I mean, you of all people should understand that.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I agree. Hope deserves a man who is completely devoted to her.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Just so long as it isn&#8217;t me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Look, I know that you&#8217;ve been working on yourself, Thomas, trying to make yourself a&#8211; a better person. I get it. And maybe Hope sees something that I don&#8217;t see. And I know she&#8217;s very attracted to you and having fun with this fling, but she&#8217;s made it very clear that she&#8217;s not in love with you and she may never be. Can you live with that?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Hope: I will always have a connection to you, Liam. We&#8217;ve been through so much together and our beautiful daughter&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Who Thomas tried to convince us was dead.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: You know, you keep bringing that up.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I keep bringing it up and I&#8217;m not going to stop bringing it up, and frankly&#8211; frankly, I&#8217;m appalled that you have.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I have not forgotten, Liam, but if I let the past rule me, I will never be able to live in the present. Thomas has earned my trust. He&#8217;s apologized, he&#8217;s taken accountability and not just with empty words, but with action.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I don&#8217;t get you giving that guy an ounce of slack, much less whatever this is.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: All right. Okay, great. Fine. Awesome. Yeah, maybe I have a blind spot where Thomas is concerned. Wonderful. And if you really need to know, sure, we&#8211; we are taking things day by day.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What does that mean? You&#8217;re just like&#8211; no strings? You&#8217;re just having sex?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: O&#8211; okay, so you&#8217;re just like, hooking up. See, that&#8217;s not you. That&#8217;s not who you are.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam, you don&#8217;t know me. I&#8217;m starting to think maybe you never did. Maybe you just loved the idea of me. But Thomas, he sees me. And I am able to put my wants, my needs, my desires first. And he, Thomas loves me for it.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, it&#8217;s getting late.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Uh, Thomas, I just want to thank you. It&#8217;s important that we spoke.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: And, yeah, look, I understand that you may never believe in my relationship with Hope, but I think that she does.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay, just don&#8217;t read too much into that because it is a phase.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I&#8217;m not going to choose to believe that. I believe that there&#8217;s a future and I honestly believe that it&#8217;s possible Hope opens her heart fully to me.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke sighing ]<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Steffy: Of course, you can be honest with me, what is it? Is it about RJ?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: No, it&#8217;s, um&#8211; it&#8217;s actually about you.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Me?<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know if you could tell, but this dinner made me super anxious.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I get it, you know. Meeting your boyfriend&#8217;s family for the first time is a little overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, it is. But it&#8217;s not just because you&#8217;re RI&#8217;s sister. It&#8217;s because you&#8217;re Steffy Forrester. I mean, you&#8217;re a fashion icon. You&#8217;re larger than life. Um, but it&#8217;s not just the fame and the glamor. I mean, what RJ said about you is true. He told me what a compassionate, caring person you are and especially clear how much you care about Eric and your brothers and your parents. You guys are just so blessed to have such a strong, loving family.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you. That is super sweet. Yeah, we are&#8211; we&#8217;re very fortunate. We&#8217;re always there to support one another, especially when one person is struggling.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, I mean, that&#8217;s what I experienced with RJ. That same sense of loyalty. I mean, he&#8217;s a wonderful guy. How could I not fall for him?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, that&#8217;s why I invited you over. I can definitely see that the feelings are mutual. And I know it&#8217;s still new. You guys are still trying to figure each other out, but I like this whole vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Luna: Yeah, me too.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>RJ: Hey. It&#8217;s incredible out there. What&#8217;s going on? I&#8217;m not shaming, I&#8217;m just&#8211; I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m concerned about some of the choices you&#8217;re making, that&#8217;s all.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Look, I&#8217;m sure that this is a lot for you to take in right now. I mean, me being dressed in lingerie for another man.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: It&#8217;s not just any other man. Not just any other man.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam, you threw us away! Thomas adores me. And he loves me and only me.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: So did&#8211; so did I.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, you didn&#8217;t. Liam, I wanted your full heart. That&#8217;s all I wanted. But for years, I mean&#8211; I&#8217;m not sure if you will understand this concept, but, um, just because you aren&#8217;t sleeping with Steffy doesn&#8217;t mean that you aren&#8217;t keeping her on the back burner. It doesn&#8217;t mean that you&#8217;re not withholding a piece of your heart for her. It doesn&#8217;t mean that you&#8217;re not just keeping the door open just a little bit for the possibility of Steffy. So, no, I never got all your heart.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I begged you. I begged you not to&#8211; not to go back to work with him. I begged you not to turn to him and&#8211; and&#8211; and then&#8211; then there you were. Look, whatever beef between Aunt Poppy and my mom, I mean, that&#8217;s between them. It shouldn&#8217;t affect our relationship.
