You&#8217;re freaking out about what you saw, hope and thomas kissing and maybe you think that you made a mistake putting your trust in hope. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know, but I feel bad for you. I&#8211; I really do. But you can&#8217;t come here and kiss me. I am a married woman, liam. Happily married.Ed to respect that.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: You&#8217;re serious? He&#8211; liam flew all the way to rome and then he came back without saying a word to you? &#8216;Cause he saw you in the colosseum kissing thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey, dad.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You know what these are?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I do not.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: These are the orders from rome. Lots of orders from rome. Your commitment to hope for the future really paid off. Proud of you.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hope&#8217;s gotta feel pretty good about the choice she made.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: What do you mean?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Asking you to come back to work. It couldn&#8217;t have been easy for her knowing how liam feels about you. But I gotta say, even liam&#8217;s gotta agree that this was the right thing after everything that happened with you and hope in rome. You&#8217;re important to her. Made a big impact in her life.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I have a feeling liam will leave me because of this.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: No, come on.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Really? I mean, he has. He&#8217;s already&#8211; he&#8217;s gone and I don&#8217;t know if or when he&#8217;s ever going to come back, so&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hope, I was wondering&#8211; oh!<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hi, rj. Everything okay? What&#8217;s wrong? What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: This has to come from you, not me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um&#8230; [ Chuckling ] Okay. I&#8230; I think my marriage might be over.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah. Liam walked out.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Walked out?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: On me. On our marriage. I think it&#8217;s over.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Look, when you kissed me before, as&#8211; as crazy as that was, I was willing to forgive it, understand it. You were extremely upset. You saw hope and thomas kissing and you reacted impulsively. That I could let go. I could pretend like it never happened. I was hoping that we would never talk about it again, but it looks like we do need to talk about it.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, I&#8211; I know. I&#8211; you&#8217;re right. I&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry. I shouldn&#8217;t have done that. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s wrong with me, but it doesn&#8217;t solve anything. And you&#8211; you&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re happily married like you said. You have a family that you love.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay. Okay. Whatever this is, you need to snap out of it because this could never, ever happen again. Hey, dad. I got an a on my book report.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Could you have imagined that a year ago, a year ago, could you have imagined that a month ago, you and hope would be doing what you did in rome?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I used to think about it a lot. What we could achieve. You know, it&#8217;s hard to think that it actually happened.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: But do you know why it happened?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: My unbelievable talent.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No. It&#8217;s because you earned her trust and you earned her respect. And not just professionally, but personally. And that showed in your work.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: It&#8217;s good to know that she has faith in me.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: She&#8217;s not the only one. Son, I hate to bring this up, but I am&#8211; I&#8217;m so glad that you&#8217;ve gotten over this obsession with hope. It&#8217;s good to see you here. I have my son back. Believe it or not, people really like that guy.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hope, this doesn&#8217;t make sense. What reason would liam have to leave you? He adores you and he loves his family very much.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, I know. I know that, mom. And that&#8217;s just making it even harder.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay. Why don&#8217;t you just tell me what happened?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Rome happened.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Rome was a success.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: For the line, yes.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: But liam should be very proud of you, honey. What happened in rome that would make him wanna walk out on you? I mean, he wasn&#8217;t even there.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: He&#8211; he was actually.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, he came and he wanted to surprise me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, I didn&#8217;t see him there.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Just tell her. She&#8217;s not gonna judge you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hope?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, I&#8211; I never saw liam either, but I guess he&#8211; he saw me. With thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: With thomas? What does he have to do with this? Oh, okay. What did thomas do now?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We have both moved on, both remarried. I am in a relationship, one where I feel safe, loved and respected.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I don&#8217;T. I haven&#8217;t felt that way in a long time and hope never respected my wishes about her working with a damn maniac no offense.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Offense taken. Please do not insult my brother. He has worked really hard on himself.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Okay. You&#8217;re right. I&#8217;m sorry. But honestly, how many times has thomas insulted me? How many times has he trashed me? How many times has&#8211; how many different ways has he targeted me and my marriage and my family? How much pain and suffering has he caused? How&#8211; how could hope stand to be anywhere near that? Let alone wanna&#8211; wanna touch him and kiss him. Thomas? Really? Your brother? Really? How&#8211; how could she want that? How?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I don&#8217;t know. I&#8211; I really don&#8217;t know what to say, what I can do to comfort you, but it&#8217;s definitely not with this kiss, that I do know. I understand that you&#8217;re hurt and you feel betrayed, but that doesn&#8217;t justify turning to me. Look, I&#8211; I wanna help you through this and I will help you through this. Liam&#8230; look, I believe that you and hope will find your way back to each other. I really do. Or not. Either way, you can&#8217;t just come here and kiss me. Look, we&#8217;re always gonna be close. We&#8217;re kelly&#8217;s parents. But that is all.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the most wonderful time of the year<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Wow. That&#8217;s coming together fast.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah. Huh? Well, maybe watching brooke, uh, model inspired me again. I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, that&#8217;s a little weird, but keep &#8217;em coming nonetheless.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Mm-hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Thanks again.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: For what?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: For understanding. Maybe even in your own way, supporting me and brooke getting back together.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Well, if that is not a sign that I have changed, I don&#8217;t know what is.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know this isn&#8217;t easy for you, not easy for your sister, and I know it&#8217;s not easy for your mom, but I&#8217;m trying. At least hope is in a good place. It&#8217;s a start.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ah! I knew it. I knew thomas would be a problem. I mean, all this talk of bettering himself and working so hard to make himself a better person, going to therapy, that was all a lie. What did he do? What did he do to make liam wanna walk out on you?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: He didn&#8217;t do anything, mom. It was me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What could you have done, sweetie?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, uh&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ] You called it. You know, you saw it coming a million miles away that there&#8217;s just something in me, I guess, that makes me want to cross that line and I, um, I kissed the one man that could destroy everything.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So, you kissed thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Liam, I know you don&#8217;t wanna hear this, but you gotta forgive hope. I&#8217;m not saying it&#8217;s gonna be easy. It isn&#8217;T. But you and hope have a beautiful family and you need to think about beth.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Was hope thinking about beth when she was sticking her tongue down your brother&#8217;s throat?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay. Liam, you gotta figure out a way to get through this pain and forgive her.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, but I can&#8217;t, so.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: People make mistakes. We both know that.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. No, I know that. I&#8217;ve made plenty.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mistakes hope&#8217;s forgiven you for.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Well, maybe she&#8217;s a better person than I am. I don&#8217;t know. But looking forward, how am I supposed to exist with thomas as a constant presence in my life and my marriage after this? And it&#8217;s not just co-parenting douglas, it&#8217;s working together with hope on the line. It&#8217;s&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Maybe that changes. Maybe hope leaves forrester creations and thomas takes over and she can focus on your marriage and prove that she&#8217;s committed to you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Steffy, hope is not gonna do that. And even if she did, I don&#8217;t know how it would work. I don&#8217;t know how I&#8217;d be able to trust. It&#8211; it&#8217;s just&#8211; it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s too painful given everything that thomas has done. And for her to still want to&#8211; uh, I just&#8211; I can&#8217;T. I&#8217;m done. I&#8217;m done. But I&#8211; but I didn&#8217;t mean to upset you and I am really sorry for my behavior. Kayaking is my thing.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: We are in rome.<\/p>\n<p>Everything is a feast<\/p>\n<p>for the eyes.<\/p>\n<p>What do you wanna do?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Let&#8217;s go out and see<\/p>\n<p>the city before we have to go<\/p>\n<p>back to our normal<\/p>\n<p>everyday lives.<\/p>\n<p>You can&#8217;t leave rome without<\/p>\n<p>seeing the colosseum.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8211; I think this<\/p>\n<p>might easily be<\/p>\n<p>one of the greatest days<\/p>\n<p>of my life.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Just tell me that thomas did this, honey. He coerced you into kissing him, right?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom, thomas didn&#8217;t do anything. It was me. I was the one who kissed someone that I never should have. I was the one who acted irresponsibly, recklessly&#8211; [ Chuckling ] Inappropriately. I mean, that&#8217;s me, right? That&#8217;s who I&#8217;ve become now. Turning to a man that I should be disgusted by.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Honey, is this what you want? You want a life with thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No. No. I want&#8211; I want my husband. I want our life together. I want&#8211; I love him. I love our kids and I don&#8217;t know why&#8211; why I would risk losing everything. I mean, I am not proud of this, mom. I take full responsibility. This is on me and I am ashamed and I am embarrassed by it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Voice breaking ] And I want more than anything to just save my marriage. I don&#8217;t wanna lose it. I don&#8217;t want to give up on it. And I don&#8217;t wanna give up on liam.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I really do mean it, steffy. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry I did that.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m glad to hear that because if you think there was ever a chance that I would leave finn and go back to you&#8230; I&#8217;m married and so are you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Not for much longer.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry about that. I truly am, but I like my life and my marriage and I&#8217;m not changing that for anything. So my advice, go back to hope. She asked for forgiveness, right?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, she did.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay. Well, go back to her. Go back to hope and your family and what happened here today and in rome, we don&#8217;t talk about that again, okay? Get outta here.
