I just&#8211; I felt like I couldn&#8217;t get home fast enough to you and the kids.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. So, how was the trip? I mean, how&#8211; how was it? They don&#8217;t call rome the city of eternal love for nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam, is&#8230; is everything okay? I just&#8230; you just seem like, um&#8230; is there something wrong?<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: It was hope. She&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>uh, she kissed him.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>kissed him.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Baby, I&#8217;m home.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, my god. Hey.<\/p>\n<p>[ Both chuckle ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, god. I missed you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Mm-mm. Not as much as I have missed you. Ah, please don&#8217;t leave me like that again.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;ll try not to.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Birds chirping ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: The reviews for the preview were fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: The whole event was inspired.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: Yeah. We saw the footage of you and hope together. You looked great.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: And you&#8211; you looked hot. I mean, hotter than normal&#8211; usual, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Wow. Thank you. I mean, it was fun to model again, especially because I was wearing one of my daughter&#8217;s designs. That made it even more special.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: Yeah. Hope and thomas must be stoked.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m sure. It&#8217;s really wonderful when all that hard work and dedication pays off.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And perseverance and commitment and faith.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Uh-huh. Why do I get the feeling we&#8217;re not talking about hope for the future anymore?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Wow. Well&#8211; well, this is a&#8211; a nice surprise. How was your trip?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It was amazing. Not what I expected.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah? I&#8211; I bet it was hard to pull yourself away.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s good to be back.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I heard our son was a huge hit.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yes, he was. Uh, lots of orders. He was great.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. That&#8217;s good stuff. Thomas deserves a win.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And he got one.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. Yeah. Good. Good. Uh, well, this is a&#8211; this is a really good time for our family.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And I cherish our family. Always will. You know that.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yes. What is it, ridge?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Something else happened in rome. Something you need to know about.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I think maybe you&#8217;re right, donna. The twinkle in your sister&#8217;s eye may be a dead giveaway.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Yeah. I&#8211; I&#8211; I think there&#8217;s more to this story than you&#8217;re telling us.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: You know, I&#8211; I think there&#8217;s only one person that can put a smile as big on my mom&#8217;s face, and I&#8217;m pretty sure it&#8217;s my dad.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: So, what about that? Is R.J. Onto something here?<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Rome worked its magic on you and ridge, didn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke giggles ] Did it?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes!<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: It did?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ridge and i are back together.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: No way!<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes!<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: What! Hey!<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Oh, my god!<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: My god.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: So, what are you saying, ridge?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m saying the hope for the future preview is not the only thing that happened in italy.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Right, no, I know&#8211; I know what you&#8217;re gonna say. You lost your passport. Or you&#8217;re back with brooke.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It was incredible. We got everything we wanted for hope for the future, but nothing compares to this. Being home with you, wrapped up in your arms.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. All I could think about last night was you coming home today.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy chuckling ] It made me so happy, I started&#8211; started hearing things.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What things?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You don&#8217;t&#8211; you don&#8217;t hear that? Kinda sounds like, um&#8230; monaco.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy gasps ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Bells ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Both laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You&#8217;re the sweetest. I love you so much.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I love you, too. So, come on, tell me everything.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, gosh. I don&#8217;t think you&#8217;re ready for this.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Something&#8217;s&#8211; something&#8217;s bothering you. What&#8217;s&#8211; what is it?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Uh, yeah. Um&#8230; it has to do with hope and liam.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Is everything okay? You seem&#8230; I don&#8217;t know. Uh, did something happen when I was away, or&#8211; or the kids?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: It&#8217;s not the kids. The kids are fine. Nothing out of the ordinary happened here. You&#8217;re the one who went on a big adventure. So, I&#8217;m just&#8230; I&#8217;m just saying, tell me about it. That&#8217;s all. Tell me everything you did in rome.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the most wonderful<\/p>\n<p>time of the year<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Wow. Talk about a sign. Ridge must have been floored.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Seriously?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. I&#8211; and I had no idea what was going on. I heard him yelling for me, and I turn around and there he is running at me. And he seemed very excited. He&#8211; he was just beaming. He had this big goofy smile on his face and&#8211; and he told me that he believes again.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Will you be&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>my logan forever?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: [ Laughs ] Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, my god. Yes!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, of course.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m having a hard time believing that this is really happening, but it is. Ridge and I reunited at last.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8211; I had no idea we were gonna reconnect. That was&#8230; it was all about the preview. But I saw my future in rome.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: With brooke.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I have to give this one more chance. I have to.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know what? Hope and liam can wait. I just wanna be with my sexy husband.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m not gonna fight you on that. Mm, man, I missed you. I&#8217;m glad you&#8217;re home.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. So, the event went well? There&#8217;s no issues? There&#8217;s that look again. You mentioned hope and liam. Look, I know liam went to rome.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You do?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, R.J. And i convinced him. Liam wanted to surprise hope.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, liam&#8217;s the one who ended up being surprised.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I wanna hear about it. I wanna hear about rome. So, tell me. Tell me&#8230; everything.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. Uh, well&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Clears throat ] &#8230;The, uh, press event and the preview were&#8211; were amazing. They&#8211; everyone loved, and I mean loved, the designs, so&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Cool. S&#8211; sounds like&#8230; thomas came through for you in a big way. You still riding that high? The virus that causes shingles is sleeping&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Donna: I am so happy for you and ridge.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: If two people were ever meant to be together, aside from donna and me, of course&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Of course.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: &#8212; It&#8217;s you and ridge.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: Uh, you know me, I don&#8217;t like inserting myself into my parents&#8217; love lives, but I&#8211; I am very happy for you, mom.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Aw, thanks, honey. Oh.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: I am, uh&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So sweet.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: I am a little worried about how the news is gonna affect steffy and thomas. I don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re gonna take it well at all. Kinda leaves their mom on the outside looking in. Right?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. So&#8211; so, one more last chance with brooke.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8211; it may seem like we&#8217;ve been here before, but this is different.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah? Uh&#8230; how?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I don&#8217;t know. I&#8211; I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m older and&#8211; and we&#8217;re wiser and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor chuckles softly ] Nothing&#8217;s ever gonna come between us ever again.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. Don&#8217;t jinx yourself with &#8220;ever again,&#8221; because that&#8217;s the perfect way to make sure that it happens again. And it&#8217;s coming. Getting back with brooke means setting yourself up for more heartache.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I don&#8217;t understand. So, did liam not get to the preview on time?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, he just missed it.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, that&#8217;s a bummer. He must have been disappointed to miss her big moment.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, he was more than disappointed. I&#8211; I told him that hope went out to go sightseeing after the preview, and he took off. He went towards the colosseum. And, uh&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, that makes sense. I mean, that&#8217;s like the number one sight to see when you&#8217;re in rome. So, hope must have been blown away when she saw liam.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She didn&#8217;t see liam.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: How come?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He came home. He came back to la.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Wait, well, th&#8211; that doesn&#8217;t make any sense. Why would liam do that?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, it sounds like you got&#8230; everything you wanted from this trip.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I know. Hubris. Right?<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckles ] But, um&#8230; it really was a success. I mean, like I said, the press, they were enthusiastic and supportive and they really did welcome us like family. And those dresses, I mean, they were&#8211; they were breathtaking and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Breathtaking, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: They were. And to be able to wear those with rome as the backdrop, I just&#8230; I just wish that you could have been there to see it. Um, the piazza where we held the event&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. No. It sounds like a really incredible moment for you and thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah. It&#8211; it was.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Almost&#8230; I don&#8217;t know, uh&#8230; romantic. For copd, ask your doctor about breztri.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Actually, I was pleasantly surprised. Thomas and steffy took the news quite well.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Really?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Mm-hmm. They just want their dad to be happy. And if that&#8217;s with me, then they&#8217;ll respect it.<\/p>\n<p>R.J.: Well, I mean, that&#8217;s a nice thing to say, but they must be disappointed for their mom on some level, right?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I do have to wonder how taylor&#8217;s gonna take this news.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. I wonder, too. Ridge is telling her right now.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You have every right to be cynical about brooke. I mean, you&#8211; you&#8217;ve been on this ride for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Ah, the old marriage go-round. Yeah. Not the happiest ride. But my happiness isn&#8217;t dependent on any man. Not even you, ridge forrester.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know that.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know you know. And I do love you. Always and forever and&#8230; and I miss you. But I&#8217;ll be okay. You don&#8217;t think that you&#8217;re setting yourself up to get hurt again?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, I&#8211; no. Not this time. I&#8211; I saw my future very clearly.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, well, you see things clearly until you don&#8217;T. That&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s what you do. Sorry. Okay. Fine. I&#8211; I&#8217;m sure that you and brooke are going to be very happy together until she betrays all the trust that you&#8217;ve put in her. And she will. Brooke logan will always be brooke logan.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay. Let me get this straight. Liam flew all the way to rome to surprise hope, saw her, didn&#8217;t speak to her, but then just turned around and flew home?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And this mood that you&#8217;re in, this weight that I&#8217;m feeling from you has something to do with liam and hope. And I know lately you have been suspicious of something developing between hope and thomas. Are you telling me that&#8230; were you right? Something happened between your brother and liam&#8217;s wife over there?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. And liam saw it with his own eyes.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: All those long nights&#8230; working with thomas&#8230; they finally&#8230; paid off. And that must feel&#8230; really good.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: It does.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: And to have that success play out in rome, it&#8217;s&#8211; like I said, it&#8217;S&#8230; romantic.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, it would&#8217;ve been romantic if you had been there, but you weren&#8217;t&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, well, you didn&#8217;t invite me until the last minute, which I completely understand, because it was a business trip. Strictly business. Right?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, but I&#8217;m home now&#8230; with you, with the kids, which is where I want to be, my most favorite place in the world. And I&#8211; I missed you. I missed all of you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You did?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Of course. Liam, what&#8217;s really going on?
