Very, very funny.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hey, rj, don&#8217;t look now, but I think you have another admirer.<\/p>\n<p>[ Jackhammer pounding ] You&#8217;re going to have a monopoly on spotting services, you know that?<\/p>\n<p>Rj: You are making me regret bringing both of you here right now. The jackhammer really helps me keep tempo.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Well, what can I say, you know? I felt bad, you know. You two lonely bachelors abandoned by my sisters in L.A. I just feel terrible.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Aw.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: My wife on the way to rome, we&#8217;re stuck here in L.A.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Okay, listen, I&#8217;m&#8211; I am so excited for hope. I&#8217;m really proud that she has this opportunity. My only&#8211; my only thing is, no offense, I know he&#8217;s your brother, but why does thomas have to tag along? Like, I feel like he should be here in L.A., Not in rome with my wife.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right. It shouldn&#8217;t be too much longer.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, thank god. I can&#8217;t wait for italy.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, I think we all can&#8217;t wait.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You know what I do want to do? I wanna go to that gelato place you found last time.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, yeah, you read my mind.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, gosh, yes. Just bring on all the food, every kind of pasta.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, there&#8217;s my girl.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Just make sure you use napkins. Thomas worked his butt off designing those gowns. The last thing I want to see is marinara all over those gowns.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. Deal. We have an agreement. Anything to make this preview a success.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know, I really am amazed by you, carter. I mean, you getting the permits for this and it&#8217;s such an amazing place.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: When hope asked for an iconic backdrop, I thought, &#8220;you might as well dream big, right?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8217;m so excited. I mean, I&#8217;m also a little nervous. I mean, I usually have butterflies before a forrester runway but&#8211; but this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: In a place so historic?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: It&#8217;s going to be wild.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wildly successful, you mean.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, if it is&#8211; no, when it is, it will be in large part thanks to you, carter. I mean, all of your hard work on this line. I&#8211; I really don&#8217;t think we could have pulled it together without you. And you, my fearless lead designer over there. I mean, I just am in awe of your artistry and your talent and I really don&#8217;t think we&#8217;d be on a plane heading to rome if it wasn&#8217;t for your help. So, I&#8217;m very thankful for you and for the beauty of your work.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I get it, man. I totally understand why you feel guarded around thomas, especially when it comes to hope, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I mean, yeah. But aren&#8217;t you, a little bit? Like hope&#8217;s your sister, you can&#8217;t be that comfortable with the role that he&#8217;s playing in her life, especially given all the crap he&#8217;s pulled.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Yeah. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know, man, it&#8217;s weird. I&#8217;m kind of a brother to both, sort of.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well then, to complicate it even more, the consensus seems to be that thomas has really changed this time.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I know. I wish&#8211; trust me. I wish I could buy that. It&#8217;s just hard, especially when hope&#8217;s well-being is at stake. Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I mean, it&#8217;d be different if I could just believe in thomas, you know. If I could just, like, magically convince myself that he&#8217;s changed, but every time I try, I just, I can&#8217;t do it. And it doesn&#8217;t matter like how good he&#8217;s being, it still comes off as like phony to me. Like calculable.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: I&#8211; I get it. I mean, there might be a chance that you&#8217;re right, but I doubt it. I mean, come on, look at him. He&#8217;s got way too much to lose. He&#8217;s got his career, his kid. I mean, he&#8217;s got every reason to be on his best behavior, right?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I know. I know, but I&#8217;m saying he&#8217;s had those reasons in the past and he was still willing to risk his career and his relationship with douglas. So like, what, why&#8211; why does everybody think this time it&#8217;s gonna be different? Like, help me understand that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Look, liam, I don&#8217;t think rj and I should necessarily be trying to sway you on this. I mean, this is about your wife, protecting your family. You should trust your instincts on this, especially on this. But I will say, I have seen noticeable changes in thomas&#8217;s behavior. It used to be with thomas, you got a sense that he was always holding back, never giving you the full story about anything, which he wasn&#8217;T. Super shady dude. The feeling&#8217;s gone. &#8216;Cause when I look him in the eye now, I see clarity. I see a guy who&#8217;s figured things out.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Okay. But like&#8211; like what if, what he&#8217;s figured out is just how to play us all better?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, maybe, but I&#8217;m with rj on this. I doubt it. Honestly, you want the best evidence that thomas is on the right path? It&#8217;s steffy. You trust her judgment, right?<\/p>\n<p>[ Liam chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Usually, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. Well, steffy believes in thomas. She&#8217;s tried to convince you, right?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, she has. Multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay. And, you know, steffy. I mean, there&#8217;s no way she would even consider defending thomas if she didn&#8217;t truly mean it.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: No, no one&#8217;s more of a straight shooter than steffy, right?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That&#8217;s valid. I mean, yeah, that&#8217;s a valid point. And honestly, I&#8217;m&#8211; I take comfort in the fact that steffy is going to be on this trip. She even told me she would, like, keep an eye on things for me.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: On what? On hope and thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, because if there&#8217;s anything concerning going on, steffy will see it.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And&#8230; I mean, um&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: It&#8217;s something.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, this is actual&#8230; here we go.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Your brother and hope, who would&#8217;ve thought, right? Everything they&#8217;ve been through and you wouldn&#8217;t know it looking at how they relate now. The bond they created, the team. It&#8217;s so great seeing two people connect the way they do. It&#8217;s like they totally get each other.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: They certainly do.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I didn&#8217;t know we were able to do that. Let me play around a lot more.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right. I talked to the pilot, we&#8217;ll be landing soon.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, good. I can&#8217;t wait to get off this plane.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Long flight, I know, but it&#8217;s worth it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: It is so worth it. There&#8217;s no city quite like rome.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Something about it being romantic and stuff, right?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. Did I say that?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Once or twice, yes.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, I know you don&#8217;t believe in romance and destiny right now, but I&#8217;m hoping that rome can help you find that again.<\/p>\n<p>Pilot: Okay, folks. Time to buckle up. We&#8217;re starting our descent. Should be on the ground shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Roma, here we come. I need to dig deep to do this,<\/p>\n<p>Rj: Hey, no way.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: That girl just text you? When&#8211; when did she even get your number?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I think beautiful women just like, know it by osmosis.<\/p>\n<p>Rj: That&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s very funny, but no, they do not. I wish they did. It was actually my mom letting me know that they landed safely.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Ah, ah, that&#8217;s lame, but it makes more sense.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, it makes a lot more sense. I mean, it kind of makes sense to me that you go considering how you feel about thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. No, I know. Hope suggested it, albeit like super last minute. So logistically, it&#8217;S&#8230; I don&#8217;t know, it&#8217;s a work trip. I would rather go at a time when it feels like an actual vacation. And honestly, no matter how suspicious I am of thomas, I really don&#8217;t want to be that like, creepy jealous husband who&#8217;s just keeping tabs on his wife. That&#8217;s a whole&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You know what you ought to do, man?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Surprise hope.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Surprise her how? Like&#8211; like what? The kind of husband that wants to be at his wife&#8217;s press event, that flies halfway across the world as this epic show of support. I mean, think about the points you&#8217;d get. But yeah, I know it&#8217;s a work trip and there&#8217;s going to be some busy schedules going on, but there&#8217;s going to be downtime, man. In italy. In rome. It&#8217;s one of the prettiest cities in the world. This is kind of a no-brainer. So why don&#8217;t you go and do that? Hop on a plane, surprise your wife.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Not too bad.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom, how did you find this villa?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I have my secrets.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: This is so beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wow, this is amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: This is great.
