She became good friends with Josslyn Jacks. Her mother, Portia, is a doctor. She was told that her father, Marcus Taggert, had died, but he faked his death in order to protect his family. Then she found out that Curtis, her mother&#8217;s <span class=\"ILfuVd\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hgKElc\">fianc\u00e9<\/span><\/span>, might be her real father.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Trina is smart and a great student, but she&#8217;s had trouble in her young life. She had an attraction to young Spencer Cassadine, but Spencer&#8217;s evil girlfriend, Esme, saw her as a threat.\u00a0 She drugged Trina and made it look as if she streamed Cam and Josslyn&#8217;s first sexual encounter to the world.\u00a0 Trina almost went to jail because of Esme framing her.\u00a0 Spencer loves Trina, so he worked hard to prove what Esme did.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Trina worked in Ava&#8217;s art gallery for a time as an intern.
