I mean&#8230; it makes sense why you were gone for so long.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: So, so bill, he&#8230;he was never in love with sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No! It was all part of the plan, and it worked.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: This is unbelievable.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: So, how long had this been going on?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, when I reunited steffy and finn in monaco, and sheila got away, I knew she would keep turning up. Something had to be done. And then she escaped custody.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: We all thought she died after that.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I never bought that absurd bear-mauling story. So I came up with a plan. One that would eliminate sheila from our lives once and for all.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Wow. Ridge and bill working together to bring sheila down.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It&#8217;s crazy, right? It still hasn&#8217;t really hit me. You know, when you were, uh&#8230; when you were talking to eric and donna, and saying goodbye, I called steffy. Ridge is over there explaining everything. Sheila really did have a heart attack.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: We all thought she was faking.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, of course we did, because sheila. But no, she, she had a heart attack, and she survived.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: God. There&#8217;s so much to talk about with all of this. But now that we have a moment alone, there are things that we need to discuss. Ridge is back.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: So, did you have any idea that ridge was back in L.A.?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: None. It was odd that he sort of fell out of touch.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, yeah, it was. But you know, he, he told us he was gonna go off and do some soul searching, and, for ridge, that could take a while.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And we could always reach him if we needed to. Bill and ridge, getting along. An unexpected pairing.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, it is. I&#8217;d say more unexpected than us.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Speaking of, we really need to talk about ridge being back, and what that means for us, moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8217;m not sure which is harder to believe, you faking a relationship with sheila all this time, or are you working together with ridge?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: [ Chuckles ] Well, we had a common goal. Protecting our families.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I can&#8217;t even put into words what a relief this is. Like, I hate you for putting us all through this, but at the same time, I&#8217;m so happy you didn&#8217;t lose your damn mind and fall in love with sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Yeah, and I don&#8217;t understand. If she was already in custody, why did you get her out?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Why not just let her rot in prison?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Because she had to be arrested on a charge she couldn&#8217;t beat, or get out early for good behavior. That had to be murder one.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Murder one?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So there were two guys who died in a very mysterious way, but they had one thing in common. You know what that is?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Sheila. Their murders were never solved, but baker was convinced that sheila had something to do with it. So, the only thing we had to do, is get her to confess.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: That&#8217;s no easy task.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No. But bill did everything in his power to make sure that she would trust him, and she did. And admitted to one of the murders.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: One of them?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Allegedly the other one was an accident.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You believe her?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It doesn&#8217;t matter if I believe her or not. The point is we just needed one to put her away.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, wait, wait. Everything that, that happened with mom, the blackmail, like, I&#8217;m sure the police and the fbi heard about this.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Alright, so bill made a deal with him to get her exonerated.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh my god. That&#8217;s amazing. So you, so you&#8217;re telling me that we don&#8217;t have to look over our shoulder for sheila ever again.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, you&#8217;re safe.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Because of you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Nahhhh. What&#8217;s the #1 retinol brand<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I just can&#8217;t believe you actually got sheila to, to admit to first degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I wasn&#8217;t sure it would happen, but it did, and crystal clear for the audio.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: That is amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: She had to be stopped. Permanently. I couldn&#8217;t let her terrorize our families ever again.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: So let me make sure I got this straight here. For months, you and sheila were living together.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I think you know this part of the story, wyatt. Do you need a pop-up book version?<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: You had to make sure that she&#8230; she thought that she was the only one who understood you, right? That you loved her, that you wanted to marry her. But it didn&#8217;t matter what anybody else thought, including your family.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Check on all the above. If she didn&#8217;t buy it, think it was legitimate, she would have run or worse, stabbed me in the back when I was sleeping.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Right. So what are we talking, like, romantic nights? You know, long, like, cuddle sessions here by the fire? Bonding. Like, you know, sharing secrets.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Wow. You know, it&#8217;s almost like you were there with us, wyatt.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Maybe we could, um, like I&#8217;m actually getting physically ill.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: So, so like, I mean, when the lights turned out and you guys go to go upstairs.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What are you doing right now?<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Trying to see how far he had to go. And I wanna see you throw up. What?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I had to go as far as you could imagine, wyatt, and further than that.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, god.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: She had to completely buy my&#8230; my devotion.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: You, like, you just put it all&#8230; you, you, you took one for the team.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I did it for everyone, wyatt. Gave it my all.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Oh jeez, why did I&#8230; I&#8217;m so sorry. I, I retract that question.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You asked.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: I need a drink. I apologize. I walked into that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: That explains the police officer outside sheila&#8217;s hospital door.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Yet, we assumed it was just security through bill. But I did find it odd that bill wasn&#8217;t there. The supposed love of his life has a heart attack, and he&#8217;s not by her side? He&#8217;s not barking orders at doctors? The two of them, they have been inseparable.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, now this all makes sense.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Does it? You do get that bill and sheila were never together, right? How could they be? I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, no, don&#8217;t be. Look, I&#8217;m well aware who sheila is and what she&#8217;s capable of. I got the scar to prove it. I&#8217;m just grateful for you and bill for making sure that she&#8217;s locked away and never see daylight again.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We can move on with our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: This whole time that ridge was away, you know, he&#8217;s been keeping an eye on sheila, making sure that we&#8217;re safe. But bill, he&#8217;s the one that&#8217;s had to do all the dirty work, you know. Pretending that he was in love with sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oooof. He had to live with her. He had to sleep with her. All to protect his family. It was strange. It wasn&#8217;t the bill I knew. When he was with her, he couldn&#8217;t even speak. Sheila had to speak for him. It was like he was under a spell. It turned out it was the other way around. He was calling the shots.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. Yeah, he was. But, you know, I was thinking about that. I wonder&#8230; I wonder how it affected him mentally, you know? Just, oh, god, I&#8217;d love to get him on my couch. Let me&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ohhhhh.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Shrink couch.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, I don&#8217;t think he would get on your shrink couch and talk about his &#8220;feelings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, I&#8217;m sure that he wouldn&#8217;T. You know. But, you know what? We should do something for them. For bill and ridge, you know? They&#8217;re kinda like superheroes. We can throw them a batman and robin theme party.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh! [ Laughing ] That would be fun, actually. It&#8217;d be good. I think that would help, kind of, get them back into life, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: You know&#8230; ridge went away to&#8230; try to figure out life and what he wants. So I think he&#8217;ll have some things to say to us.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know. I&#8211; whatever it is, it doesn&#8217;t matter. I wanna keep it separate from what you and I have built. Brooke, it&#8217;s really important to me, our friendship. It really is. I don&#8217;t want to lose it. Good food tastes better with a dollop of daisy<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Let me, let me just ask you this, your professional opinion. You think this heart attack was real?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, she almost died.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Would have, if finn hadn&#8217;t saved her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You saved her? Really?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We didn&#8217;t want him to.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And lee was there too?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, she was the first physician on the scene. Ordinarily, she would have been responsible for sheila&#8217;s care, but she, flat out, refused to treat her. She asked me to do the same, just let her die.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You thought about it, didn&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I hesitated. Alright, do I honor the oath I gave as a doctor, or do I let the monster die, who attacked the people that I love? Ultimately, I couldn&#8217;t do it because in that moment, sheila was a patient who needed me to save her life, so I had to, no matter how horrible she is.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: That&#8217;s the kind of man you are.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: That&#8217;s the man I love. And I love you dad. Thank you so much for sacrificing everything to keep us safe.<\/p>\n<p>[ Telephone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Hey, chief baker, what&#8217;s going on? Really? Okay. Keep me posted.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What, what now?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, sheila had an actual heart attack. Couldn&#8217;t have happened to a more deserving person.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Whoa.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Something tells me not a lot of tears are gonna be shed for her tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Who knew she had a heart?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, you certainly do, and you&#8217;ve proven that with everything that you gave up to protect us all. I mean, your family&#8217;s trust, your standing in the community, and you had to spend all that time with sheila. I mean, I really don&#8217;t know if there&#8217;s a way for us to thank you for keeping us all safe, especially the children.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay, so, so there was &#8220;tridge,&#8221; and there was &#8220;bridge.&#8221; And now there&#8217;s &#8220;braylor.&#8221; And I am telling you, my friend, that is the end game.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Girl power, for sure.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Woman power!<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes!<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: We&#8217;re gonna stick to our pact, right?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes. And that&#8217;s what I wanted to talk to you about. I think now that ridge is back in town, we&#8217;re gonna have to be a little bit more careful and protective of our relationship, because I can&#8217;t imagine going forward in my life without you in it.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I feel the same way. We&#8217;ve developed this, this, this real trust with each other and it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. It&#8217;s rare.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, especially for two women who have spent their entire adult life fighting over a stupid man.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ughhh.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Never again.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No, never again. Promise.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You know, it&#8217;s funny. We both have families with ridge, but you know what else we have with him? Unresolved issues. But that&#8217;s with him. Me and you, we&#8217;re good.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: 100%.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Friends forever.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Friends forever.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughter ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I love this!<\/p>\n<p>[ Giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So, what&#8217;s going on here?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Uh.<\/p>\n<p>[ Giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>[]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8217;m actually afraid to believe we can let our guard down.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Believe it. Sheila&#8217;s reign of terror is over.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: You must be exhausted.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You could say that.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I just, I can&#8217;t imagine what it took for you to convince sheila, like, really convince her, that you loved her. I mean, I&#8217;m just, I&#8217;m so proud of you. I&#8217;m humbled by the sacrifice that you made to, to keep all of us safe. I just&#8230; suffice it to say, I&#8217;ve never loved you more than I do right now. I&#8217;m not kidding.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: This is what I miss the most. Seeing the look of love and admiration in the eyes of my boys. My family. Instead of pain and disappointment. I can finally say, after way too long, it&#8217;s good to be home.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, dad! All misty.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Come here.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Come on.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Alright. Aww, guys.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I knew something was off with bill. I knew it! But I never thought he was plotting to send sheila to prison. Gosh!<\/p>\n<p>[ Whispers ] Wow&#8230; I feel like I can breathe again.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. I&#8217;m grateful for that. It&#8217;s the threat of sheila, it&#8230; it&#8217;s finally gone.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Hey, what&#8217;s wrong with you?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Nothing. It&#8217;s just&#8230; sheila could have totally been out of our lives if I would&#8217;ve listened to my mother.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s not who you are, finn. You&#8217;re a healer. You value human life. You save it. You don&#8217;t end it. So don&#8217;t second guess your decision, okay? You did the right thing. Like I said, it&#8217;s who you are. You&#8217;re compassionate and you&#8217;re loving. And I&#8217;m so, so lucky to be married to a guy like you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughter ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So, what did I walk in on?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. Well, we will get to that in just a minute. But first, I talked to steffy. Sheila really had a heart attack.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know. I talked to her too. So, yeah, she flatlined and finn brought her back, despite everything.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, that&#8217;s because he&#8217;s a good man and we&#8217;re lucky to have him as a son-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I agree. What?<\/p>\n<p>[ Giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Nothing. No, no. Taylor and I had just been talking about everything that has happened and we&#8217;re really impressed that you and bill were able to pull this off.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. And teaming up to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, it&#8217;s incredible.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It&#8217;s crazy.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Pretty cool. How you feeling?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh. Uh, I&#8217;m good. I&#8217;m&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Tired.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Uh-huh.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I was in that bunker 24\/7 with jim. Takes it out of you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So, I&#8217;m ready to, uh, do whatever passes as normal these days. Bunk up with dad for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, that&#8217;s good.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: That&#8217;s good. Good idea.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: What is happening here. What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Just, something happened while you were gone.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No way!<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh, ridge! Seriously?! Did you see that?!<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, I didn&#8217;t?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, no. Brooke and I are, are friends now.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Uh huh.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. We&#8217;ve grown very close, and nothing is going to change that.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, nothing. I mean, look, we both have families with you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: But at this stage in our life, we are choosing our friendship over our feelings for you.
