And chen.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re supposed to be in there getting information from sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Ah. Thanks for reminding me. There is another reason I&#8217;m here. I finally figured out how to get sheila to confess to multiple murders. I&#8217;m gonna propose. I&#8217;m gonna ask sheila to marry me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: [ Laughs ] Lucy! Wow, dad! This is&#8211; this is an incredible surprise.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: Lucy and I were passing through on our way up north and we thought we would catch up. So much has happened since we were here last.<\/p>\n<p>Lucy: Steven told me what thomas did using a voice app to make it look like you&#8211; you called cps on him?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: I can&#8217;t believe ridge&#8217;s own son would sabotage his father&#8217;s marriage.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: He wanted me out of the way.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: Well, it worked, didn&#8217;t it? Ridge left you and went back to taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And they&#8217;d still be married now if it hadn&#8217;t been for steffy. She really stepped up and called her brother out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, I found it. I&#8217;ll get&#8211; I&#8217;ll go over the fine print and I&#8217;ll get back to you, carter, okay? Yeah, thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um&#8230; sorry I had to run the other day, but I&#8230; I just really wanted to continue our conversation about your concerns with me and thomas. And I just want to assure you that I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I understand. I know what you&#8217;re about to say. But I have to tell you, I was talking to paris the other day and she reminded me about what you said not too long ago. Do you think he&#8217;s hot?<\/p>\n<p>Lucy: Taylor knew and still went through with the wedding?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: She was completely swept up in the moment. And she only found out the truth right before the ceremony. She was going to tell ridge after. So, I don&#8217;t blame her. The dynamics between the three of us were completely different back then.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: What I don&#8217;t understand is how it even got that far. Why didn&#8217;t ridge tell you why he was upset? Why didn&#8217;t he fight for your marriage?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right, chen, it&#8217;s over. We gotta pull him out. He&#8217;s lost his marbles. You&#8217;re gonna propose to sheila?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I am. I have no intention of actually marrying that nightmare. Anyway, listen, all the&#8211; all the accolades you have, you&#8217;ve deserved, so good.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: The truth is that I am really run out of my patience and every time that&#8211; that that thing touches me, I want to be disinfected by a hazmat crew.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeesh.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Sheila needs to go back to prison where she belongs. Families and all of our loved ones can be safe and not have to look over their shoulders anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re doing a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: It&#8217;s the only thing.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right. You and thomas are gonna be working very closely together and it&#8217;s gonna be intense. You&#8217;re gonna be bouncing ideas off of each other, inspiring each other, being swept up in the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Are you asking this for me or for thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I already talked to thomas about it.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: What, seriously?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I just want to make sure that there was no issue. He assured me there isn&#8217;T. My brother is making significant changes in his life and I know he&#8217;s not obsessed with you anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, good. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m thrilled for him, but steffy, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m married and I am fully committed to liam.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I get that. I&#8217;m not questioning that.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. So then where is this coming from?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I just want you to be honest and realistic with yourself and your attraction to thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You&#8217;re what I need. I love you, sheila.<\/p>\n<p>[ Indistinct radio chatter ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, this could get real interesting real fast.<\/p>\n<p>Chen: We&#8217;re set up for all of it.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Hey!<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Hey! So he&#8217;s going to be in our lives forever.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: There&#8217;s so much going on. Some good, some&#8230; horrifying like sheila carter still being on the loose thanks to bill spencer? And, where&#8217;s ridge? Off somewhere licking his wounds instead of being here to protect his family.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: In all fairness, I&#8217;m the one who told ridge to go away and figure out what he wants out of us.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: And he doesn&#8217;t know how to cut a trip short? I&#8217;m gonna give him a call. Give him a piece of my mind.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, dad! Come on. That&#8217;s not necessary.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Could I make myself any clearer?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s my ex father-in-law. Steve, hey, what&#8217;s up?<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: I&#8217;m here in L.A. With brooke and you&#8217;re nowhere to be seen. Leaving your family alone at a time like this.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right. You&#8211; you gotta forgive me. I don&#8217;t mean to be rude, but I got a lot on my plate, so this is not a good time.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: You do remember that sheila carter is a dangerous woman, don&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m well aware of the sheila carter situation. Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: Well, that&#8217;s not gonna help, is it? If she corners somebody else in an alley at gunpoint.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Stephen, this is not a brush off but I gotta go.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: My daughter deserves better from you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I will do everything in my power to keep the people I love safe. All right? I gotta go. What did bill say?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Do you know what a difference you have made in my life? Hey, I used to dread walking through that door into this big empty house. Nobody here to greet me with a&#8211; with a smile, with a&#8211; with a touch. Nobody to welcome me home.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila laughs ] But now you&#8217;re here for me and only me. You said that I gave you a second chance.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You did.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, you&#8217;ve done the same for me. My beautiful, incomparable sheila. I love you. Remember that night that we met on the beach and how&#8211; how quickly and&#8211; and intensely we connected?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah. I&#8217;ll&#8211; I&#8217;ll never forget.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, I&#8217;ve been proving myself to you ever since. I told you I wouldn&#8217;t let you go back to prison and you haven&#8217;T. I moved you into my home. I distanced myself from my loved ones, from my family. I stood by you. I defended you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You put everything on the line for me and I am&#8211; I&#8211; I&#8211; I get choked up when I think about it, but&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Bill: What? You can tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Okay, well, I&#8217;ve&#8211; you tell me you love me.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And that you opened up to me. But I&#8217;ve got to be honest, there are times that I really&#8211; I just don&#8217;t know what you&#8217;re thinking.<\/p>\n<p>[ Bill laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, I feel the same way about you. And&#8211; and you&#8217;re right. I mean, yeah, you know, you&#8217;re right. I can, at times, I can be a bit withdrawn. That&#8217;s just my nature. Come on now. I mean, I have been incredibly open with you. And I want you to be the same with me. But I know you&#8217;re not there yet. You still&#8211; you&#8211; you hold things very close to the vest. Dark things that frighten you and that&#8211; that shame you. I don&#8217;t want there to be any barriers between us. I want you to be able to talk to me about anything and know that I&#8217;m not going to judge you. You can express whatever it might be about your past and I will never leave you. My commitment is 100% and I want you to know that.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I do.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Wow. Those are just words though, aren&#8217;t they? I think you need actions to unlock that box that you have kept hidden away for so long. You know what? I think I have the key.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What do you mean?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I mean that I&#8217;m going to show you that you can believe in me. And you can believe in our life together. That&#8217;s me before dawn powerwash.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. I don&#8217;t&#8211; I don&#8217;t know what you want me to say here. Uh&#8211; okay fine. Is thomas attractive? Yes. Sure. And I bet plenty of other women in this office would agree. But I&#8217;m gonna take a stab in the dark and guess that you aren&#8217;t questioning them.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: They don&#8217;t share a child with thomas or have a complicated history.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: All right, but my feelings for your brother are not complicated. They are very straightforward, which is that I needed him to help save my line. So I agreed to work with him and that is as far as it goes. Does that answer your question?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Look, I&#8217;m just looking out for you and thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And I appreciate that, but I am telling you there is no reason to be concerned.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: Ridge practically hung up in my face. What the hell is wrong with him?<\/p>\n<p>Lucy: What did he say when you mentioned how dangerous sheila is?<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: He&#8217;s fully aware of the situation. Whatever that means. Where is he exactly?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: He is taking some much needed time away. And I encouraged him to do so, dad. He did say he&#8217;s doing something very important, not only for him but for the entire family.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen: And what does that mean?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I&#8217;m not sure. But I do know that he loves us very much and there&#8217;s nothing he wouldn&#8217;t do for our family.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I&#8217;d given up on ever finding&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Chen: I love a good proposal.
