Gershon, famous for her many acting roles, directed it.\u00a0 Well-known actress Mathis is the main star of this movie as Val, a mother taken hostage and then kidnapped by a deranged young man, Denny (brilliantly played by Thomas). Conrad plays her husband, Mark, who searches for her, along with the police. Gershon directs Samantha Mathis (<em>Billions<\/em>), Harrison Thomas (<em>Better Call Saul<\/em>) and David Conrad\u00a0in the film.<\/p>\n<p>Adapted from Ann Rule\u2019s Last Chance, Last Dance true crime collection, <em>12<\/em> <em>Desperate Hours<\/em>\u00a0follows Val (Samantha Mathis), a mother who finds herself and her young children held hostage by Denny (Harrison Thomas) when he forces his way into her house after committing murder earlier that day.\u00a0\u00a0In order to save them and her husband Mark (David Conrad), who was due home at any moment, Val offers to drive Denny wherever he wants and becomes his unwilling accomplice as he goes on a rampage of destruction. Despite the traumatic events, Val builds a rapport with her captor and uses the relationship to help save the lives of bystanders, herself and even the life of her captor.<\/p>\n<p><em>12 Desperate Hours<\/em>\u00a0and <em>A Rose For Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story<\/em> will both debut in 2023 on Lifetime and are produced by Allegheny Image Factory and Best On Best.\u00a0\u00a0Conor Allyn and Benjamin Anderson serve as executive producers and Jeff Tinnell and Bob Tinnell serve as producers for both films.\u00a0\u00a0Allyn and Anderson wrote the script for\u00a0<em>Desperate Hours<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>For A Rose From Her Grave<\/em>. This marks the fifth and sixth Ann Rule adaptation Allyn and Anderson have Executive Produced, including\u00a0<em>Sleeping With Danger, Circle Of Deception, A Murder To Remember\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>A House on\u00a0<\/em>Fire, which the latter they also penned.<\/p>\n<p><b>Gina L.
