Ooh, new design?

Hope: Yes, it’s a work in progress.

Taylor: Oh, nice.

Hope: Uh-huh.

Taylor: Nothing slows down you creative types, right?

Brooke: That’s right. Keep up focusing on work, and forget about everything else.

Hope: At least for a little while.

Taylor: Oh, hope, this situation with douglas isn’t gonna last long. It’ll be done before you know it.

Hope: Is– is that why you stopped by? Is it something about douglas, or–

Taylor: Douglas is fine. I am just here because your mom and I have lunch today.

Brooke: We do?

Taylor: Yes, we do, mm-hmm. And it’s being delivered from your father’s restaurant.

Deacon: Hey, what’re you doing?

Hollis: I got a delivery.

Deacon: Yeah, chris takes care of that.

Hollis: Yeah, not this one. Special delivery.

Deacon: Uh-huh, forrester creations.

Hollis: Specifically to be delivered to brooke logan, specifically by me.

Deacon: She asked for you?

Hollis: Guess so.

Deacon: Okay, want to tell me what’s going on?

Hollis: All right, look. Do you remember when brooke was in here the other day, and you had me look after her table?

Deacon: Uh-huh. Yeah.

Hollis: Well, I guess we got to flirting a little bit, and I must have made… an impression. Is that a problem?

Deacon: You’re willing

to become spencer’s concubine

in exchange for your freedom?

You can’t be that desperate.

Sheila: I am not bill’s

concubine! What’s goin’ on, sheila?

Sheila: Bill, I– I didn’t hear you come in.

Bill: You were somewhere else.

Sheila: No, there is no place that I would rather be than right here.

Bill: You look a little upset.

Sheila: What do I have to be upset about? I am a free woman living in a gorgeous home with an incredibly gorgeous, caring man. And I’d be a fool not to realize how lucky I am.

Hollis: Look, it just felt like brooke and I made a connection.

Deacon: A connection? I told you to take care of her, not to… take care of her.

Hollis: Look, man, it was just a little bit of fun. All right? I mean, brooke is a– a beautiful woman. I mean, what guy wouldn’t be attracted to her? You can’t blame me.

Deacon: Ah, you don’t have to tell me. She and I share a kid, in case you forgot. It’s just taylor and I went to have lunch at il giardino–

Taylor: And a very handsome waiter hit on your mom.

Hope: Uh…

Brooke: It was more like mild flirting.

Zende: Yeah. Okay, that’s my cue.

Hope: Uh, zende, keep doing what you’re doing, it’s exactly what the collection needs. And, um, you… spill. Who’s this mystery man who was sweet talking my mom? I’m managing my high blood pressure,

Bill: What’s going on, sheila?

Sheila: Nothing, I’m fine.

Bill: No, you’re not.

Sheila: I’m just, uh…

Bill: Bored? Irritated that I’ve been working all morning?

Sheila: No. Neither.

Bill: I don’t want you to feel all cooped up in here. What can I do to put a smile on your face?

Sheila: Bill, you don’t have to entertain me. Hun, you have– you’ve done so much for me already.

Bill: Okay. Then how about you do something for me?

Sheila: Gladly.

Bill: Tell me what’s bothering you.

[ Sheila laughing ]

Sheila: You are relentless.

Bill: And you’re not fine. And the fact that you don’t want to tell me what it is, is beginning to concern me.

Deacon: I do appreciate you being honest with me.

Hollis: Yeah, I mean, no reason not to be, right?

Deacon: Well, I mean– I see why you might be hesitant, you know, given my history with brooke.

Hollis: So, you wouldn’t have any problem with me asking her out, would you?

Deacon: You’re gonna ask her out?

Hollis: I was thinking about it, unless that’s out of line.

Deacon: I mean, hollis, look, I’m your– your boss, not your life coach.

Hollis: So, you’re okay with it?

Deacon: Only person who has to be okay with it’s brooke.

Hollis: Well, I just want to make sure you didn’t have anything going on with her. I mean, like you said, there was a history there. You guys were in love.

Deacon: Look, I’m always gonna have feelings for brooke, all right? But I think I’m finally smart enough to realize that ship has sailed.

Hollis: ‘Cause you’re over it? Or maybe you’ve got your sights on someone else, someone you haven’t even told me about! Wait a second, what happened to that– that hot redhead that was in here a while back, giving you the eye? Is that the new mystery woman in your life?

Brooke: Ah, taylor, taylor is just trying to play matchmaker.

Taylor: Okay, maybe a little bit, but I’m also, you know, maybe living vicariously. Come on, brooke, you’re single! You’re not committed to anyone!

Hope: Well, neither are you right now, taylor, and look, I know that you two are besties, but, um– I have to ask, with mom a bit preoccupied with hollis, I mean, are you purposefully trying to stay single until ridge comes back, or…

Brooke: Honey, no!

Taylor: No, that is a fair question. Seriously. With everything she’s seen go down between us her whole life? It’s a valid concern. That’s not who we are anymore.

Brooke: I can understand that you and steffy and pretty much everybody is shocked that we became fast friends, but it’s real. It is. I made a dear friend in taylor, and I’m not sure if there’s anybody that understands me or what I’ve been through more than taylor. Want luxury hair repair that doesn’t cost $50?

Deacon: Gonna get that food over to forrester while it’s still hot.

Hollis: Wow, man, I mention your little redhead and you’re pretty much pushing me out the door.

Deacon: No, I just wanna get one of our best clients their food before it gets cold.

Hollis: All right. But I’m gonna ask you about your little mystery lady when I get back.

Deacon: Nothing to tell.

Hollis: So, you didn’t have some mystery woman you were shackin’ up with?

Deacon: What?

Hollis: I don’t know, it’s just the feeling I got, that you had somebody staying with you. And look, I didn’t want to be nosy or pry, but tell me, am I wrong?

Sheila: Nurse sheila

carter, reporting for duty.

Little sizzle in the pan.

Little sizzle for my man.

Deacon: No, it’s just– just me by my lonesome. Me and my pizza recipes. Very sexy. Now get out of here before I give your shifts to someone else!

Hollis: Hey, man. That used to be my line to you.

Deacon: Things change.

Hollis: All right, I don’t wanna keep brooke waiting.

Deacon: Hey, hollis, uh, just a little piece of advice. Present circumstances excluded, brooke logan is and always will be about ridge forrester.

Hollis: Like you said, things change.

Deacon: Hm.

Hollis: Hey. Don’t underestimate me, boss.

Bill: Something is clearly weighing on you. I want to hear what it is. Talk to me.

Sheila: We are talking.

Bill: Not like you talk to everyone else. We’re different.

Sheila: Yes. You are nothing like anybody else.

Bill: Neither are you. And I don’t expect you to be. So come on, out with it.

Sheila: It’s not you.

Bill: See? Right again.

Sheila: Ah, it’ll pass, I’ve– I’ve already dealt with it.

Bill: Not completely. Or you wouldn’t be sitting here stewing.

Sheila: Okay, every thought that I have isn’t going to be smiles and sunshine. Even though I’m in a really good place, I– I am in a perfect place for me, the best place.

Bill: That’s because you’re in a safe place. Safe from the police, from jail, and from judgment. Other people’s opinions and rules don’t apply to us. So talk to me.

Sheila: And you say things like that, and nothing else even matters, bill.

Bill: You got me to open up. And I’m going to do the same with you. We don’t keep secrets from each other.

Sheila: You know me so well, I’m not sure I could even if I tried.

Bill: So, why do it?

Hope: I will admit, it’s still taking some getting used to, this, uh– newfound friendship between the two of you.

Brooke: Honey, we totally understand.

Taylor: Yes, but it feels so good to put the animosity behind us.

Brooke: Yes.

Hope: Well, I’m really happy for you. I mean, your connection– it’s– it’s a wonderful thing to see, and that’s really all I want, is for everyone to get along.

Taylor: Yes, that’s what we want too, yes.

[ Knocking on door ]

Taylor: Oh! Gosh, that– that must be lunch. Brooke, why don’t you get it?

Brooke: Of course. I will get it.

Hollis: Ladies, I’ve got a special delivery for you.

Brooke: Oh! Hollis! What a surprise. Uh, why don’t you come on in?

Hollis: Thank you. It’s good to see you. I was happy to see your name on the ticket, and I heard you asked for me specifically.

Brooke: Oh, uh, yeah. My friend placed the order, actually. You remember my dear, supportive, nosy friend, taylor?

Taylor: Yes, that would be me. Yes. For bathroom odors that linger.

Taylor: Okay. I will take this.

Brooke: Okay. Great.

Hollis: So, this is where all the magic happens? I can see why forrester clothes are so beautiful. Lots of inspiration around here.

[ Hope clearing her throat ]

Brooke: Oh, uh, hollis. You remember my daughter, hope, right?

Hollis: Yes, of course. Your dad’s always bragging about you.

Hope: Oh, he might be a little biased.

Brooke: No, he’s right. You are exceptional.

Taylor: Yes, like mother, like daughter.

[ Brooke laughing ]

Hollis: Yeah, there’s no lie there. Well, I should probably get back to the restaurant.

Brooke: Uh, yeah. Thank you for the special delivery.

Hollis: My pleasure. Actually, I’ve been thinking about you, brooke. I’d really like to see you again. Preferably when I’m not working.

Brooke: Uh, yeah, um… sure, yeah, that would be nice.

Hollis: How about dinner tonight?

Brooke: Dinner it is.

Hollis: Great. Okay. Well, I’ve– I’ll be in touch with the details. I’ve got your number.

Brooke: You do?

Hollis: I– I think I do. I think I got it.

Brooke: Receipt thing, you know?

Hollis: Yeah. Bye, ladies.

Hope and taylor: Mmm, bye.

Brooke: Bye.

[ Taylor chuckling ] You set me up!

Taylor: I totally did.

Brooke: You did.

Taylor: I did. You guys–

Hope: Mom, he asked you out in front of us! I mean, I don’t know whether I should be offended or impressed. I–

Taylor: I wasn’t sure if you were gonna say yes.

Brooke: I was just joking when I was telling hope that you’re a matchmaker.

Taylor: You know what? I am not going to apologize for setting my friend up with a hot younger man. Tonight, brooke logan, the possibilities are endless.

Brooke: Oh.

Sheila: Why, thank you so much for tonight. And creating our own little piece of paradise, even if it is just for a couple of stolen hours.

Bill: As much as I love the sound of my own voice, and I do, I would rather hear from you.

Sheila: I’m not feeling very chatty.

Bill: If something’s bugging you, you can share it with me. I’m on your side. I’ll understand. And if I don’t, I’ll try.

Sheila: Okay. There is something weighing on me. There’s someone that I just can’t get out of my head. No, it– it doesn’t mean that you’re not enough.

Bill: It kind of sounds that way.

Sheila: No. You’ve changed my life. You’ve given me a future, and every happiness that I have right now, is because of you. And you’re caring, and– your thoughtfulness. When everyone else wanted to throw me away, you– you asked what I needed. How you could help. That’s just what you’re doing right now. All you ever asked from me is to be honest with you. So… yes. There is someone else. Someone that I have tried so hard not to think about. But someone that I miss terribly.

Back to the B&B Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Bold & The Beautiful Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne [ Dramatic music ] Zende: I was inspired by our conversation the other day.
