I&#8217;ll hold you until this entire nightmare&#8217;s over.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Will it be? Or is sheila gonna be in our lives forever?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, sheila&#8217;s in custody, right? Maybe we&#8217;ll luck out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You heard bill what he&#8217;ll do if she doesn&#8217;t get released.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Would he, though? After all this time, he would come forward about what your mom did and turn her in.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He&#8217;s determined to help sheila resorting to blackmail. I mean, there are so many women he could choose from, women who actually add to his life, fulfill him. And who does he turn to? Sheila. Sheila carter.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Are you sure it&#8217;s safe to talk?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I have taken care of everything, but nothing is guaranteed. So I wanna err on the side of caution. Keep your voice down and keep your distance.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah. But if we have this room to ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: That&#8217;s the very opposite of what I just said. And it makes me wonder if you&#8217;re trying to avoid an answer.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I need to know if this is real.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I can&#8217;t believe you even feel you have to ask that.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I have felt like this before, only to be let down. I&#8217;ll not be used. Is that what you&#8217;re doing, sheila? Are you using me?<\/p>\n<p>[ Bag zipping ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens ]<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh, my.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah. I forgot to lock that again.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Ah, and let me guess, you were working out again?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Guilty as charged.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh, oh, hang on, hang on. Before you button up, there&#8217;s something you need to do first.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Somebody&#8217;s in a good mood.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, how can I help but in a good mood when I walk in on this?<\/p>\n<p>[ Carter chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s more than that. Your visit with bill, it went well?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay, hang on a second. So I am here in your handsome arms, and you wanna talk about bill?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Not if you don&#8217;t want to.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Hmm. Well, my visit did go well. Yeah. I just can&#8217;t get over it. Sheila finally captured, and that&#8217;s all because of bill. He&#8217;s really a hero.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: If we give in, if we trade sheila&#8217;s freedom for my mother&#8217;s, we&#8217;re endangering all of us. Why can&#8217;t bill see that?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: He can&#8217;t see anything, steffy. Sheila&#8217;s got some sort of emotional hold on him.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: And that is a truly frightening thought to know that bill has some like sick crush on a psychopath. What do we do, finn? What do we do? Sheila cannot be released. But if bill is serious about threatening my mom, I think our&#8211; our hands are tied. I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. I have one question. One very important question. Who is throwing the party? Me or you?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Ah, party? What, what, what, what party?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Come on. I can&#8217;t be the only one that wants to celebrate. Sheila&#8217;s finally behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Am I using you? If you mean by using, wrapping myself in your incredibly strong arms and not wanting you to let go. Connecting with someone in a way I&#8217;ve never connected with anyone like that my entire life. I&#8217;ve&#8211; I thought you felt the same way. That you were enjoying every minute of it.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: You know what&#8217;s sad? When bill found out that I was concerned about him, it&#8211; he seemed surprised.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Did he?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Well, knowing bill he had something sarcastic to say.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I&#8211; that&#8217;s just it. I mean, he has, shall we say, a big personality, and none of that was there. That bluster. It was like he was so vulnerable. Something that I&#8217;ve rarely seen. Something&#8217;s been off with him for a while lately.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Well, it&#8217;s a good thing he wasn&#8217;t the least bit off when sheila came knocking on his door. We all owe bill our gratitude, and now we can focus on other things. Better things.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Mm. Much better things.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: [ Chuckles ] Steffy, you should have heard me when I got your text that sheila had finally been arrested. I screamed, &#8220;yes!&#8221; Right in the middle of my colleague&#8217;s speech. Now he won&#8217;t stop talking to me about alternative modalities for anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: How was the conference?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It was great. Sold out. Thank you. That&#8211; I don&#8217;t wanna talk about that. I wanna hear about how everything went down. So&#8211; so wait. Bill is the one that found sheila and turned her in?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. It was bill. He&#8217;s responsible for all this.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Wow. Our family is safe again because of bill spencer.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Look, we&#8217;re gonna have many more nights together in front of the fireplace. Just get me out of here. Please, just take me back home.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Home? You really think this can work, the two of us?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Well, given the way things have gone the last few weeks, I&#8217;d say yes.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Why did you follow me that night?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: From el giardino? I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know. I saw you sitting at the bar by yourself, staring off, and you just looked so lonely. And it intrigued me. I&#8217;ll be honest, I was bored. I was bored. My situation being alone and following you, well, that was going to be an adventure. The all-powerful rich, mighty bill spencer, where was he heading off to?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Not what you expected, I&#8217;m sure.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, it definitely wasn&#8217;T. I never expected you to walk down the beach and plop yourself down in the sand. And I knew that approaching you would be a risk. But I don&#8217;t know, there was just&#8211; there was something that said I had to take that chance.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: We talked until the sun came up.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And you could have called the police. You could have easily overpowered me. Turned me in. But you didn&#8217;T. And I&#8211; I still, still can&#8217;t believe that.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I can&#8217;t either. There was something about the desperation in your voice, the loneliness in your eyes. That night, we connected in a way. Well, like you said, in a way that I&#8217;ve never connected with anyone. My god, what does that say about me?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: That says you&#8217;re tired of faking who you are and that you&#8217;ve been with the wrong women. You&#8217;ve been with good girls most of your life. Bill, good girls who didn&#8217;t truly understand you. They wanted to change you. Wanted to make you more like them. You&#8217;re not one of them, bill. Neither one of us are. Okay everyone, our mission is complete balanced nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You know, the best part of all of this?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: All of what?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Sheila being arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: We no longer have to live in danger.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah. Yes. But I was going to say your gorgeous smile.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: [ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I like seeing you happy.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I like being happy. It definitely feels like there&#8217;s a weight lifted. With sheila in custody, we can concentrate on better things on the future and all those wonderful moments yet to come.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Other women want to change you. They wanna tame you and turn you into a weaker version of your true self. But not me. I know there&#8217;s nothing wrong with you. I understand you. The core, just like you do me.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Steffy came to see me.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Did she?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: She asked a lot of questions. Questions I&#8217;m not sure I even have the answers to. Katie as well. She called me a hero.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: That&#8217;s exactly what you are. You&#8217;re my hero. Oh, come on, bill. Please tell me you are not wavering because of something a logan has said.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I am putting everything on the line for you. If we pull this off, I lose everyone. My kids will hate me. Katie, brooke. I say goodbye to everyone in my life.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes. And you say hello to someone who understands you.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Is this real?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8211; I know that this seems sudden, but I think I have more than shown you how I feel.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You&#8217;re talking about a dance with the devil. If it&#8217;s real, it will be an unforgettable ride. If it&#8217;s not, I know you, sheila carter.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: What a way to kick off the new year, huh? Sheila getting caught. It has to be a good omen, right? I am so optimistic right now about my future. I&#8217;m back in la, making up for lost time with my grandkids. My&#8211; my career is booming. And you know what else? I have a new friend, brooke freaking logan. After everything we&#8217;ve been through, I think this is gonna be my best year yet.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knock on the door ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8217;ll get it.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Look, she&#8217;s right. Okay? This will be her best year.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: From inside a cell. We can&#8217;t let that happen. We can&#8217;t give in to bill&#8217;s blackmail.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Chief baker, hi.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Dr. Hayes. How are you?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You know what? I am excellent. This news about sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: It&#8217;s about time, right?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: May I?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yes, please. Come on in.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door closes ]<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Hello, steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Finn.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey, chief baker.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: As happy as we all are, capturing sheila was really just step one. There&#8217;s a whole lot of work to be done before prison becomes her permanent address.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. I mean, I understand that there&#8217;s gonna be a hearing, but we all know what the outcome&#8217;s gonna be.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Well, that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m here, in fact, to review your statements, make sure everything is in order for trial.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: If you prosecute<\/p>\n<p>sheila, she won&#8217;t be<\/p>\n<p>the only one behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>If sheila goes to jail,<\/p>\n<p>taylor goes to jail.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Steffy and finn will do whatever&#8217;s necessary to put sheila carter in prison. My asthma felt anything but normal.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: I just wanted to reiterate how important your testimony is going to be.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I want sheila to pay for what she did.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: There&#8217;s no doubt she belongs in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. And stephanie and finn will do whatever they need to do to cooperate. And we all will. Everyone in our family wants to make sure sheila never walks free again.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Exactly what I wanted to hear. Well, thank you all. I will be in touch.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;ll show you out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Bye. Oh, my gosh. Sheila&#8217;s arraignment can&#8217;t come soon enough. She&#8217;s gonna be locked up forever.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I really, I really don&#8217;t wanna talk about sheila right now, mom.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Hey. What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh god. There is just so much to be thankful for. So much joy around us, and I think that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s what we need to focus on, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. Okay. Yes. There is so much good. You can focus on your amazing husband and your beautiful kids.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: And you, my mother. I am just so&#8211; um, I&#8217;m so proud of you. The woman that you are. You deserve to be happy. You deserve the brightest future imaginable. You said this might be your best year yet. And I want you to know that I will do everything I can to make that happen, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8211; I love you so much, baby. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know why you&#8217;re questioning this, why you&#8217;re protecting yourself, and it has nothing to do with me. Has to do with what you&#8217;ve been through in your past with those bitch logans that put&#8211; okay. I&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry. It&#8217;s just that they&#8217;ve&#8211; they&#8217;ve always tried to change you, and that&#8217;s why you&#8217;re having a hard time understanding what we have together here. They don&#8217;t appreciate you. They never did. Not the way that I do. They couldn&#8217;t possibly. Neither one of them would&#8217;ve ever walked out on you if they did. And that&#8217;s something I will never do to you. No, not with the connection that I&#8211; I have with you. Connection that I have been looking for my whole life. Someone who&#8211; who can handle me and stand up for me. And I know that you&#8217;ve been looking for that too.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Looking? I&#8217;m thinking that person didn&#8217;t exist.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, I&#8217;m here. I&#8217;m right here.
