But, like, in the best way.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Wait, and you&#8217;re not disappointed? I mean, you&#8217;ve been pushing so hard to get your parents back together.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, I&#8217;ve always wanted my mom to be happy, but I thought, you know, some of her happiness would be, with my father. But to see my mother and brooke put their differences aside, and choose themselves over a man? The happiness was there. And it was really powerful, and, inspiring. I&#8217;m so proud of my mom.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I am, too. But, I am nervous about mine. I mean, as much as I want to applaud brooke and taylor, it&#8217;s hard to have anything else on my mind, other than sheila, knowing that she&#8217;s still alive.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking at door ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Carter.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Hey, eric. Um, what&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I was hoping to have a word with you. Alone.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Okay<\/p>\n<p>[ Uncomfortable chuckle ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: You&#8217;re guarded. I&#8211; I don&#8217;t blame you. But you could&#8217;ve phoned me off, you didn&#8217;t have come tonight, bu&#8211; but you did. You&#8217;re here. And that tells me, that maybe, you really do still care about me.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Bill, of course I care about you. I will always care about you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, if that&#8217;s true, then you have to at least consider what I&#8217;m saying. Tonight could be a new beginning for us. But you have no idea how much I need that. Please, katie. Tell me you need it, too?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Is something going on?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, carter, um&#8230; we haven&#8217;t had a chance to talk. Not since, uh&#8230; everything that happened between us.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yes, eric&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, look, I have donna in my life now, and she makes me very, very, happy, and I want you to be able to be happy, too. And, from what donna&#8217;s telling me, um&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Oh, [ Chuckles ] I think I know where this is going.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, to, ah, you and katie. Is that, uh, is that true?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: We&#8217;ve been spending time together, yes.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: She&#8217;s very important to me, carter. I would hate to see katie to get hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I only want what&#8217;s best for katie, and whether that&#8217;s me or not, is too early to tell, but&#8230; I&#8217;m hoping so, but that&#8217;s katie&#8217;s decision. There is one thing I am certain of though. When it comes for what&#8217;s best for katie, it sure as hell isn&#8217;t bill.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: We have talked about this. There&#8217;s nothing&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Okay, but before you answer, there&#8217;s something I want to give you.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I don&#8217;t want any gifts.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Oh, come on! I mean, &#8217;tis the season, you don&#8217;t want me to be scrooge this year!<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay, but seriously, I don&#8217;t need anything.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Oh, but that&#8217;s what the beauty of it. You name the destination, and I will make it happen. C&#8217;mon katie, doesn&#8217;t that sound beautiful? I mean, the three of us, we haven&#8217;t been together in such a long time. Hey, don&#8217;t blame yourself.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Chief baker!<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Do you have any news?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Have you found her? Have you found sheila? My name is austin james. As a musician living with diabete<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, I wish you luck. Katie has tried to move on from bill before.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And it&#8217;s never quite worked out.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, it hasn&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Maybe this time it&#8217;ll be different, you know, their son is older. Keeping a family unit together for his sake may not be as important anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: No, I think katie&#8217;s finally realized that bill can&#8217;t give her what she needs. A man who can commit to only her, and not have eyes for her sister.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s a reasonable request for any relationship, wouldn&#8217;t you say?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I think so. No, katie would not have to worry about that with me. If I was lucky enough to be with her, she would never have to question my commitment.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You should tell katie that. Maybe under some mistletoe.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Mistletoe?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Uh-huh. Why don&#8217;t you come to the house for christmas, if you don&#8217;t have any other plans? Yeah, I&#8217;d love to.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Oh, and as an added incentive, ah, bill is not on the guest list.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: That&#8217;s even better.<\/p>\n<p>[ Both chuckling ] Actually, she&#8217;s, um, with him now.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: She is?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: He reached out. Asked her to come over, she said he doesn&#8217;t sound like himself.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, well, whatever it is, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s a manipulation. It&#8217;s a ploy.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: A ploy?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: He&#8217;s trying to get her to come back.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: What better way to spend the holidays than the three of us, alone on our yacht, away from it all?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: So you&#8211; you wanna do this soon?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Listen, we&#8211; we can stay away for weeks, for months, there&#8217;s no reason not to. Katie, I need this. You&#8217;ve no idea how much I need this time with you and our son.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I get that you want it, but, you&#8211; you keep saying that you need it.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I do. Seriously. You are my anchor. And, without you, I&#8217;ve&#8211; I&#8217;m sort of floating, uh, around, lately. Without you to ground me, it is a need. You are. I need you katie, like never before.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Is that why you&#8217;re here? You got sheila?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Please say that&#8217;s true.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Not quite.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What do you mean, not quite?<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Well, it took a bit of digging, but we were able to pull some footage of her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: But&#8211; but deacon said that they weren&#8217;t able to catch anything on camera at el jardino?<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: You think I trust deacon sharp? Hmph. No. We checked nearby establishments. A place down the street caught her on camera, she was leaving the restaurant. Didn&#8217;t look much like sheila, either, I&#8217;ll tell ya that. We have a direct match. Sheila carter is alive. Here we have our mystery woman caught on camera.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: This is the woman I bumped into!<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Forensics was able to confirm with facial recognition, and retinal scan. It&#8217;s a 98% match. In our world, it means &#8220;no doubt&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I knew it! I knew it!<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh my god, this whole time! Sheila really has been alive! When our daughter and her kids moved in with us&#8230; our bargain detergent couldn&#8217;t keep up. Turns out it&#8217;s mostly water. So, we switched back to tide. One wash, stains are gone.<\/p>\n<p>[Daughter] Slurping<\/p>\n<p>don&#8217;t pay for water.<\/p>\n<p>Pay for clean.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s got to be tide.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I can&#8217;t do it. When I started the golo plan and taking release, I was surprised at how easy it was for the weight to come off. I&#8217;ve never done anything better in my life.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I can&#8217;t do it. Now the police have actual proof, after your bump-in with her.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: I have to commend the both of you for re-examining the evidence. If it wasn&#8217;t for you two, this case would still be closed.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, but we&#8217;re still no closer to catching her.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: I wouldn&#8217;t say that. The security footage was very useful. Not just in terms of proving that sheila was alive, but also, telling us where to find her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know what kind of car she was driving?<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Even better. Her license plate.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, my god, this is great!<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: A stolen vehicle. No surprise there. We&#8217;re circling in on her. It&#8217;s only a matter of time, before sheila carter is found and arrested. They need to know what she looks like in disguise.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, thank you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone rings ]<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Oh, excuse me one second. Baker.<\/p>\n<p>Policeman: Sir, I&#8217;ve got her.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Sheila carter?<\/p>\n<p>Policeman: Her car. Description. I&#8217;m tailing her. Southbound on la cienega.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: I&#8217;m putting you on speaker. Did you call it in?<\/p>\n<p>Policeman: You were<\/p>\n<p>my first call.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure if she&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>monitoring scanners.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Officer, don&#8217;t lose her!
