It is morning. Not sure what qualifies as “good” yet.

Sharon: Well, you’re not gonna find out with that attitude.

Adam: [ Chuckles ] I need some of your sunshine and rainbows to rub off on me.

Sharon: Your usual?

Adam: Sure. Hey, I owe you a thanks for the other day, by the way. Your advice on how to talk to chelsea really helped. At least, for a while. Conversation started off good. I didn’t even mention billy. I just focused on chelsea and helping her find her footing. We, uh, came together for connor’s sake.

Sharon: Well, that all sounds positive.

Adam: It was. But, um, then I went too fast and I think I overwhelmed her and she shut me out again. So, ultimately, we took a step back.

Sharon: Well, don’t give up. Just keep going, doing what you’re doing, slow and steady. There are no shortcuts.

Adam: I’m trying. Easier said than done. Patience is not my forte.

Sharon: Yeah, I know. Um… but I commend the effort you’re putting into it.

Adam: Well, I’m just a little worried. I have to go pick up connor for school, and I don’t know what state chelsea is gonna be in when she opens the door.

Connor: Good morning, mom.

Chelsea: Uh — look at you, dressed and ready to go. And you have perfect timing because breakfast is ready, and I don’t think I burned a single pancake.

Connor: [ Chuckles ]

Chelsea: [ Sighs ] Today’s gonna be a good day. I can tell already. Mm.

Lily: Thank you.

Billy: Hey. Hi.

Lily: Hi.

Billy: I’m, uh, glad I ran into you.

Lily: Really?

Billy: Yeah. You left so early this morning, I didn’t get a chance to tell you what I wanted to tell you at home.

Lily: Which is what?

Billy: “Good morning, beautiful.”

Summer: Well, that’s marchetti. What do you think?

Daniel: It’s impressive. I mean, especially your office. Pretty swanky.

Summer: Well, a comfortable work environment increases productivity.

Daniel: Mm-hmm. Yeah, well, you got enough room in there that you could run laps if you wanted to. As your brother, I’m very proud.

Summer: I’m really grateful. I mean, honestly, this is my dream job.

Daniel: Mm. I just — I got one question. What’s up with all the security? Are you guys concerned that the competition’s gonna steal your fashion secrets?

Summer: Nothing like that.

Daniel: Okay. Well, then what’s with the actual guard outside your door? Is there something I should be worried about?

Phyllis: I mean, is it wise to have this conversation here when kyle, summer, jack, or, god forbid, diane could walk in at any minute?

Nikki: Diane is in this house that often now?

Phyllis: Oh, apparently she spent the night here the other night because she was so afraid of stark.

Ashley: I assure you there’s nobody here but harrison and the nanny. Please sit down. It’s okay.

Nikki: Well, I would like to say something to start. I have been wondering if maybe we did go too far with diane. I mean, I don’t know what more we could do even if we wanted to.

Ashley: Well, that’s exactly my point.

Phyllis: Wait! No, no, no! I — we’ve come this far. We just need to put our heads together, and we can get this done.

Ashley: Okay. There’s no more plotting or planning that needs to be done because we’ve accomplished our goal. Diane is officially gone. Theo’s nose was cause for alarm, so dad brought

Additional sponsorship

provided by…

Summer: Actually, there have been a few instances of corporate espionage at jabot since you’ve been away.

Daniel: Hmm. I had no idea there was so much drama around here.

Summer: Speaking of exciting secrets, I want to hear about this mystery project that you pitched to chancellor-winters.

Daniel: We’re still keeping it under wraps for now. But, look, I can tell you, it’s not just one project. It’s this whole new and exciting platform for me, a real reinvention of myself, and, um, I couldn’t be more stoked.

Summer: I’m really happy for you — and intrigued.

Daniel: And I am beyond happy for you. But you know what? I don’t want to keep my very important sister from, you know, attending to whatever business you have here or taking care of whatever family matters you need to.

Summer: Well, everyone’s actually occupied right now. Kyle’s away on a short business trip, and harrison’s at home with the nanny, so…

Daniel: You know, I am also wowed by your seamless transition into motherhood.

Summer: Who would have thought, right? But, I mean, harrison makes being a mom easy. He is the sweetest guy alive. You probably know all about the parental pride thing, though, even though lucy’s not such a little girl anymore.

Daniel: Ugh. Tell me about it. You know, I’m just bracing myself. You and I are living proof of how wild teenagers can get.

Summer: True.

Daniel: [ Chuckles ]

Summer: But, hey, look at us now. We’re not still trouble, are we?

Lauren: You two? Never!

Daniel: Hey!

Lauren: I heard you were back in town.

Daniel: Yeah.

Lauren: Welcome back. Aww. How’s your dad doing?

Daniel: He’s good. He’s good. You know, I actually spoke with him recently, gave him a little nudge, trying to get him to come back to genoa city, too.

Lauren: Mm. So, were you successful?

Daniel: He wants to come back when the time is right.

Lauren: That’d be nice.

Daniel: Yeah.

Lauren: It’s been too long.

Daniel: It really has. Look, I got to get going, but I’ll see you soon. Bye.

Summer: Bye.

Lauren: Bye, sweetie.

[ Chuckles ] Ah, you must be thrilled to have daniel home.

Summer: I am.

Lauren: And I hope he is a welcome distraction for your mother.

Summer: What do you mean?

Lauren: Well, I am very concerned about phyllis.

Nikki: So, diane is truly gone?

Phyllis: Please tell us everything.

Ashley: Okay. Well, she left town to get away from stark. So, your plan worked, phyllis.

Phyllis: She just left, after all this time?

Ashley: I heard it from jack himself. I walked in, they were once again embracing, and it looked extremely intense.

Phyllis: Okay. Alright. We get it.

Ashley: And then she went back to the grand phoenix, she packed her things, and she left.

Phyllis: Where’d she go?

Ashley: I don’t know. I’m not sure I care.

Nikki: Wow. I mean, this is fantastic news. This awful chapter is finally over. Well, we all deserve a pat on the back. Diane is gone, our families are safe, and no one was hurt in the process.

Ashley: Mm. I don’t know if that’s true.

Connor: The bully from a few days ago was actually nice to me yesterday in class.

Chelsea: Well, that’s a good thing, right?

Connor: It’s probably because the guidance counselor made him, but it was still cool.

Chelsea: Still very cool. Listen, you got to take the win. I take that as another good sign. Also, a sign that my pancakes were a hit — your empty plate!

[ Both laugh ] Ah, yeah, no, I’m just, um — I’m feeling utterly refreshed after my first really good night of sleep last night, so I’m feeling good.

Connor: I like seeing you happy.

Chelsea: Aww. Well, I like feeling happy.

Connor: Especially because you were the opposite of happy for a while.

Chelsea: No, it’s — it’s okay. It’s okay. You can say what you’re thinking. You don’t need to be careful around me. It’s okay to talk about the bad stuff. I mean, we don’t need to talk about it all the time if you don’t want to, but we can’t pretend like it didn’t happen. If you’re ever feeling bad, you can talk to me. You can talk to your dad or any of your teachers. Okay?

Connor: Okay. I really am glad you’re feeling good.

Chelsea: I promise you, sweetheart, I am. I’ve got my friends and my therapy, and everything’s gonna be okay.

[ Knock on door ] Oh. That’s probably your dad. Hey. Come on in. You are right on time. We even have extra pancakes for you.

[ Door closes ]

Adam: Hey, buddy.

Connor: Hey, dad.

Adam: Well, you seem like you’re in a good mood this morning.

Connor: Mom’s feeling better.

Adam: Well, that is great. I’m — I’m glad to hear that.

Sharon: So, how are all of your classes going, faith? Yeah? Oh, which one? Ah. Well, you know what? Just stick with it, and you will figure out whether you’re interested in the subject or not. You know, that’s how you figure things out — trial and error. Wh– oh, no, no, no. No problem. We can talk later. I understand. We– I love you so much, too. I miss you. Bye.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

Chelsea: I like the orange.

Sharon: Hey, everybody.

Chelsea: Hi.

Sharon: You heading to school?

Connor: Yep.

Chelsea: And you just might have an extra crimson lights treat in your backpack for later. There are tons of perks to this new apartment.

Adam: I have to agree. Sharon’s more than a landlord. She is a good family friend.

Sharon: You trying to butter me up to get your own treat?

[ Laughter ]

Adam: That’s a good idea. I might have to try that next time. But I would not want to be late for school. You want to, uh, give your mom a hug?

Chelsea: I love you so much. Have a great day.

Connor: You too, mom.

Chelsea: Ooh. Bye.

Sharon: Well, everybody seems like they’re upbeat today.

Chelsea: Yeah, we really are. I had a great therapy session yesterday, and, um, our conversation has taken me on a new course. It’s gonna be a challenge, but I’m ready to face it.

Sharon: Well, I’m sure you have the strength to take it head on and conquer it.

Chelsea: Well, I’m relieved you feel that way ’cause my next steps start with you.

Tide pods ultra oxi

Lily: Sorry we didn’t get to have a proper good morning. I, um — I had a breakfast meeting here that I had to run to.

Billy: Oh, yeah? Who were you meeting with?

Lily: Why? Do you think I’m lying?

Billy: No, that’s not what i meant by that.

Lily: I mean, the guy just canceled. I can show you the text if you want.

Billy: I don’t need to see the text, lily. Feels like we’re two ships passing in the night, doesn’t it?

Lily: Well, I got home late last night ’cause I was working. And the night before, you got home later than I did. I mean, where did you go? ‘Cause you said that you were going home after daniel and i ran into you.

Billy: I went to noah’s club to have a nightcap. I actually ran into adam there, which, you know, is never fun. We got into it, as we usually do.

Lily: Let me guess. Does he resent your ongoing involvement with chelsea?

Billy: Well, you clearly do. I never thought you and adam would be on the same side of anything.

Chelsea: My therapist said that part of the healing process should involve making amends, kind of like A.A. Not that I need to tell you this. I mean, you have a degree in psychology.

Sharon: Um, yeah, I’m aware of the theory, and — and I know that it can be helpful.

Chelsea: Yeah. Um… I’ve come to realize I have a level of self-hatred that I have to deal with. And I’ve ignored it for a long time. I kind of — kind of pushed it down, you know, so far down that I just forgot it was there. But now I need to address it.

Sharon: Well, that’s a very brave decision.

Chelsea: I’ve just, um… I’ve hated so many of the things I’ve done, starting with, you know, learning the con with my mom at a very young age. I tried to outrun the shame and the loathing, but it never worked. It would just fester and seep out in other ways… until it finally led to a very dangerous, life-threatening situation where I needed to face myself, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So, I’ve come to realize I need to acknowledge all of the things that I’ve done, and that starts with an apology to you. We have a — a pretty rough history, sharon, so I say this in no uncertain terms. I’m sorry.

Sharon: Thank you.

Chelsea: I mean, I’m sure none of this is news to you. You’ve been on the receiving end of my negative feelings for quite some time. All of the troubles I had with adam, I always blamed you. And it wasn’t fair. I realize now, at the time, i considered you golden and blessed. Meanwhile, you were dealing with your own illness. I realize now adam was helping you then the way people are helping me now. It’s my own fault that I didn’t see you as just a person going through her own trials and tribulations. I saw you as a threat. And so I reacted the way I was taught to.

Sharon: Well, I appreciate you saying that. Um, you know, I have my own part in what went on between us. Um, it was a complicated dynamic.

Chelsea: It definitely was.

[ Chuckles ] But I’m gonna take ownership of my part in it. I’m sorry for the things I did and why I did them. I am sorry for not trying to understand you better.

[ Sighs ] You’ve got a good heart, sharon. And the way you’ve reached out to me the past few weeks has literally been life-saving. So, um, I apologize for not seeing the true you earlier.

Sharon: Apology accepted. I know how much courage it takes to open yourself up and bare your soul and admit your mistakes. So, I hope that it helps lift your shame away. I know firsthand how damaging it can be.

Nikki: What are you saying, ashley? That someone was hurt in our quest to get rid of diane?

Phyllis: Not just someone. You’re talking about jack, right?

Ashley: Yes, I am. He is extremely angry with me, and I think I’ve potentially alienated him.

Phyllis: Well, I’ve done a lot more than potentially alienate jack before, so…

Nikki: I think we did the right thing. And I think that jack will see that in the long run. He may even thank us for it.

Lauren: Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed that your mother’s battle with diane has escalated. And I am very concerned that she will not let it go.

Summer: I —

Lauren: Oh, hi. Hi, jack.

Jack: Oh. Hello, lauren.

Summer: Jack. I was just about to tell lauren that she doesn’t need to worry about my mom’s tension with diane anymore because, as of this morning, diane no longer works at marchetti.

Lauren: Really? Uh, from what I had heard, she was doing a good job.

Jack: She was called out of town on a personal emergency.

Lauren: Hmm.

Summer: Yeah.

Lauren: Well, hope everything’s okay.

Jack: No, it’ll all be fine.

Summer: I don’t wish any ill will towards diane, but maybe with her leaving, things will be a bit more peaceful around here. Jack, I — we should probably go prep for that conference call.

Jack: Yeah. Lauren, good to see you.

Lauren: Nice to see you.

Summer: Bye, lauren.

Lauren: Bye.

Summer: [ Sighs ] So, I heard from kyle.

Jack: Yeah, so did I. Everything’s going according to plan. Now we just have to find a way to drive jeremy stark out of town before he does any more damage.

Score low prices and

great deals at target.

Chelsea: Thank you for your forgiveness. And I hope it’s okay I say this. I really wish rey was here so i could apologize to him, too.

Sharon: Um…no, I don’t mind that you bring him up. I like when people talk about him. I think about him every day. And I like to believe that he can hear you right now, loud and clear. And he does not need an apology. I know firsthand that he forgave you a long time ago.

Chelsea: Excuse me. Hey, um, I was wondering if you could come back up to the apartment for a few minutes.

Adam: Um…yes. Absolutely.

Chelsea: Great. Bye, sharon.

Sharon: Bye.

Lily: Billy, haven’t we been through this already?

Billy: Yeah, we have, but i did want to continue our conversation last night. But you told me not to wait up for you.

Lily: Well, ’cause I didn’t have anything more to say.

Billy: [ Sighs ] I guess it’s just, I’m wondering why you, uh — you encouraged chelsea to keep her distance from me.

Chelsea: [ Sighs ] Billy, that is not how the conversation went. We talked very openly and honestly, and it was actually a good conversation. So, is she insinuating something different, like I drew a line in the sand for my man?

Billy: No, not exactly, no.

Chelsea: ‘Cause I told her i was rooting for her and that i support her. And she thanked and said the conversation meant a lot to her. So, I mean, she has no reason to blame me for anything.

Billy: She’s not blaming you, lily.

Lily: Oh, okay. So then you are?

Billy: I just find it strange that you and chelsea have one conversation and after that conversation she’s pushing me away, she’s not answering my text messages or, you know… I mean, you’re saying those two things aren’t related?

Lily: Billy, all I said was that she also has other people to support her. So, if she heard that as some kind of warning to stay away from you, then she misunderstood me.

Billy: Okay. I hear you. Um, let me ask you this, then. Why — why are you so troubled by this?

Lily: [ Scoffs ] I’m not troubled. I’m — I mean, clearly, you’re the one that’s troubled.

Billy: Well, it just feels like there’s got to be something else going on, lily. So, please just be honest with me. Do you feel threatened by my closeness to chelsea?

Chelsea: [ Sighs ] Did connor get off to school okay?

Adam: Yeah. Yeah, it was all good. So, can I ask you what happened while I was gone? When I came earlier, you were smiling, and now you’re a little emotional.

Chelsea: [ Chuckles ] Well, I am emotional, but it’s not a bad thing. I’m feeling my feelings instead of running from them or suppressing them or drowning in them. I’m taking accountability for my actions and making amends. I just managed to get through with sharon, and now it’s your turn.

Adam: Chelsea, you don’t need to apologize to me. I think everyone knows the hell that I put you through.

Chelsea: We’ve been through a lot. And if down the line you want to make some amends, you are free to do so, but for now… it’s my turn.

Jack: I’m glad kyle was able to get diane to the cabin without drawing any suspicion.

Summer: [ Sighs ] Now we just need to keep the story alive and let people believe that she fled for fear of her life.

Jack: We are gonna have to be very careful, very vigilant. No one, especially jeremy stark, can find out where diane actually is. I also think we need to be careful talking around harrison. He could very easily repeat innocently something that he heard.

Summer: I am not going to say a word to anyone.

Jack: Okay. That includes your brother. I know it’s hard to keep things from daniel, but —

Summer: No, it’s not gonna be an issue. He was just here and he asked me about all of the extra security and I covered.

Jack: And it goes without saying mum is the word when it comes to ashley or nikki or phyllis. Given what they’ve pulled, god only knows what they would do with this information.

Summer: I get how important this is and what needs to be done.

[ Knock on door ]

[ Sighs ] Hey, mom.

Jack: Phyllis, what do you want? ()

“The young and the restless”

will continue. Do you struggle with occasional nerve aches

Phyllis: It’s another beautiful day at marchetti, jabot. What are we working on?

Jack: It has nothing to do with marchetti home.

Phyllis: Oh, okay. Well, how’s the launch of the new line coming?

Summer: It’s fine.

Phyllis: Good. Good. Well, it looks like we’re down a man. Um, is diane coming in late?

Jack: You can save the act, okay?

Phyllis: You’re right. It is an act. I really don’t care what’s going on with diane, to be honest.

Summer: Mom!

Jack: No, you only care that she’s gone. Well, you’ve succeeded.

Phyllis: Have I?

Jack: Diane left town.

Phyllis: Oh. Well, that is so good to know. She finally did the right thing. Good. Good. Well, it has nothing to do with me.

Jack: Oh, believe me, it wasn’t stark’s cleverness that brought him to our door looking for diane. No, someone called him and tipped him off. Apparently, that someone sounded a lot like you.

Phyllis: I’m sure diane put that thought in your head.

Jack: Just save it, okay? You won. She’s gone. I hope it was worth it.

Adam: Chelsea, you know you — you don’t have to do this. I feel like we’ve — we’ve put our issues behind us.

Chelsea: You may not need to receive an apology, but I need to give one.

Adam: Okay.

Chelsea: We had a — we had a great love once. But there were so many lies, so much deception along the way. I mean, even connor started out as a lie when I claimed you weren’t our little boy’s father.

Adam: We — we worked through that a long time ago.

Chelsea: In the past, I was always able to fool myself for a little while, but it would never last. Eventually, I would find a way to push you away or blame you for everything instead of looking at my own issues. I hid my pain and mental illness from you when I faked the severity of my stroke.

Adam: Yeah, well, chelsea, you weren’t in your right mind.

Chelsea: But still I did it.

[ Breathes deeply ] And it’s important to me that you know how much I regret that. I realize now you were just trying to help me. And I wouldn’t let you. I see now that I did a lot of things wrong, and I just — i want you to know from the bottom of my heart I’m truly sorry.

[ Exhales heavily ] See? Emotions don’t always have to be a bad thing.

[ Both laugh ]

Adam: Emotions? What are those again?

Chelsea: Ahh…

[ Chuckles ]

Adam: Chelsea, I accept your apology. And — and I admire your willingness to do this. And I’m impressed by your, uh, desire to clear up the past, on all fronts.

Chelsea: I appreciate that. It’s — it’s part of my journey now, you know? For so many years — for decades, really — my mantra was always, “do unto others before they do unto you,” or, “lie first and lie smart.”

Adam: Mm. That sounds like anita.

Chelsea: Ah, well, I’m very well aware of my mother’s influence, but through therapy, I am starting to see myself and my motivations more clearly. I would lessen my own pain by hurting others, or I would lean on others to fix me.

[ Exhales heavily ] So, clearly, I’ve got a long list of people I need to make amends to — victoria and, hopefully with her and billy’s permission, johnny.

Adam: Mm. I, uh, assume billy is on your list? I mean, this johnny stuff all started with him.

Chelsea: Yes. Billy will be the most difficult conversation I’m gonna have to have.

Lily: Billy, I am not threatened by chelsea in any way. But I know you well enough to know what’s really going on here, and this is about more than just friendship and support. This is about what you’re getting out of it, too.

Billy: And what do you think that is?

Lily: This is a new high for you. It’s a new thrill, but instead of gambling with money, you’re now gambling with something far riskier.

Billy: So, you’re suggesting that I’m gambling with chelsea’s life, lily?

Lily: No, you’re gambling with her recovery. And I don’t think you even realize that. And frankly, I’m really worried about where this crusade is gonna take you.

Billy: That’s so ridiculous. You think I’m looking for some kind of fix? And I’m gonna respectfully ask you to discuss your thoughts about my motives with me, not with chelsea.

Lily: I haven’t discussed it with chelsea. I never would — ’cause I am concerned about her. But believe it or not, I’m concerned about you, too, and your own spiral.

Billy: [ Scoffs ] There’s nothing to be concerned about, lily.

Lily: Good, because I can’t do this anymore. I have a lot of other people and things to worry about. And I want you to find yourself and find peace, but you’re asking a lot of me in exchange, and I can’t handle it anymore.

[ Cellphone pings ]

Billy: [ Sighs ]

Lily: [ Breathes deeply ] Yep. Billy again to the rescue. If you still have symptoms of moderate

Billy: I’ll look at it later.

Lily: Billy, just see what she has to say ’cause it could be a genuine emergency and i don’t want to get blamed if something happens, okay? ‘Cause, like I said, I do care about what happens to her.

Billy: It can wait.

Lily: What did she say?

Billy: [ Clears throat ] “Are you free? I need to see you.”

Lily: Oh. Well, I guess she’s not as worried about my supposed warning to stay away from you as you are.

Billy: Lily, we’re having an important conversation, and i would really like to finish it.

Lily: I’ve said all that i can say.

Billy: Well, I haven’T.

Lily: Billy, it’s not the time, okay? You’re distracted. Just go see what chelsea needs, alright, the way that you always do when she reaches out.

Nikki: Thanks for letting me say hi to harrison.

Ashley: Sure.

Nikki: One thing we can agree on is that that little boy just lights up your heart.

Ashley: He does. I have to tell you, though, i felt bad. He kept asking where dee dee was. You know, it’s dee dee this and dee dee that.

Nikki: Yeah, but you know what? He is better off without diane’s destructive influence over him. I, for one, have no regrets. I mean, the three of us were able to band together for a common cause and probably prevent a lot of pain down the road. So, I guess I won’t be seeing you as often now that we have accomplished our mission. But at least it’s good to know that we can work together if that ever becomes necessary again.

Ashley: Let’s hope it doesn’t, right?

[ Door slams ]

Jack: Sorry to interrupt. I can only guess I walked in on the two of you celebrating diane’s departure. So, where’s the, uh, sparkling cider and the congratulatory toasts?

Summer: You know, I have to get back to work. I’ve got a lot to do since kyle’s away for a few days.

Phyllis: Hold on. Okay. Hold on for a second. Um, you don’t share jack’s anger toward me regarding diane, do you?

Summer: [ Scoffs ] What do you want me to say, mom?

Phyllis: I want you to say that diane did the right thing by leaving town. It was her choice, summer.

Summer: I don’t think that’s true.

Phyllis: Okay, well, maybe she decided to leave town because of her ex-con ex-lover and she was afraid of retaliation.

Summer: And you’re the one that brought that criminal to our doorstep.

Phyllis: Wait a second. What is happening here? Just not that long ago, you said you saw the light regarding diane. You said diane needed to be stopped. You said that, right?

Summer: Yeah. Yeah, I said that. And you know what? I’m still angry about diane’s nonstop parade of untruths, but things changed the second you brought this very real danger into our lives!

Phyllis: I did not bring a danger into our lives! Diane brought him into our lives! Now diane’s gone. Now the danger can leave.

Summer: That’s not the point, mom. What you did put us all at risk, harrison included.

Phyllis: I would never put that boy in harm’s way. I would never do that.

Summer: Except for the fact that you did! You did that! So I don’t know what you want me to do. Please do not expect me to defend you to jack or kyle about this.

Phyllis: So you don’t even want to try to see my side, right?

Summer: Your side is indefensible.

[ Gasps ]

[ Stammers ] Mr. Stark, you got up here again, um, past security. Wow.

Jeremy: Yeah. Wow. What can I say? I can be very persuasive. Hi, I’m karen.

Daniel: Hey. Glad I bumped into you.

Lily: Hey.

Daniel: Buy you a cup of coffee?

Lily: Uh…

Daniel: Or maybe a shot of tequila? I know it’s a little early, but you look like you could use that.

Lily: [ Chuckles ] Sorry. It’s not you.

Daniel: Then what’s wrong?

Lily: Um, I can’t really talk about it, and I’m in a rush, so maybe a rain check on the coffee.

Daniel: Okay. I-I don’t want to intrude, but, you know, you’re clearly upset about something. You know you can tell me anything, right?

Chelsea: Hey. Thanks for coming.

Billy: Hi. Is, uh — is everything alright? Is — did something happened?

Chelsea: I’m fine. I’m fine.

Billy: Okay. Well, that’s a relief.

Chelsea: I asked you to come by because my therapist assigned me a new mission — to make amends. It’s been difficult, but also really healing. And I feel like I’m making important progress.

Billy: I’m glad to hear that. I’m sure that’s been, uh, very challenging.

Chelsea: You’re next on my list. And it’s gonna be a very difficult conversation, for obvious reasons. I knew you before anybody else in genoa city, and the apology i owe you — I don’t know how I’m gonna find the words.

Nikki: Ashley merely filled me in on diane’s exit from genoa city. I mean, that’s not really that big of a loss, is it?

Jack: I don’t know. Ask diane’s son, her grandson.

Ashley: Oh, please. Don’t try to lay a guilt trip on us, jack. Diane is a grown woman, and she left of her own free will.

Jack: She left to protect herself and the rest of us from a hardened criminal. You two may have succeeded in driving your old enemy out of town. You also broke kyle’s heart and harrison’s in the process. Good for you.

Jeremy: I’m looking for diane.

Phyllis: Well, she’s not here, I’m afraid.

Jeremy: Hmm. That’s puzzling.

Phyllis: Sorry. Diane and I a-aren’t friends.

Jeremy: She didn’t show up for work, and apparently she didn’t stay at her hotel suite last night.

Phyllis: That’s news to me. I-I don’t know where she is.

Jeremy: You were the one who called to alert me about diane, weren’t you? Which means that there’s no love lost between you and my ex. So, why don’t we go somewhere we can speak more privately?

Back to the Y&R Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Young & The Restless Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne Sharon: Morning.
