Has she given any reason?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Not to me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No. She just said asap.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, it&#8217;s not business, right? &#8216;Cause why am I here?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I mean, do you think it&#8217;s about maybe ridge and taylor not getting married?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I heard taylor left town.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. Ridge did too.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: But they didn&#8217;t leave together.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No. I urged ridge to take some time for himself and figure out what it is he wants. I love him, but he needs to commit to me. We can&#8217;t do this back and forth with taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Proud of you for that. I-I still can&#8217;t believe that that wedding almost went through though, based on a lie.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, it goes to show thomas&#8217; scheme almost worked.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I still can&#8217;t believe that he did this. That he&#8211; that he used douglas&#8217;s app on his phone to make his voice sound like yours. So it sounded like you were turning him in to&#8211; to child protective services. Who does that? So disappointed in him.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So am I.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Has anyone heard from thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No. He&#8217;s keeping a pretty low profile.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, the good news is douglas is back home with liam, beth, and me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Thank god for that. No offense, eric.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: None taken.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey everyone. Thank you for meeting so quickly.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door closes ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know you&#8217;re wondering why we wanted to see you. Finn and I have some shocking news. Sheila carter is alive.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Where the hell have you been?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Talking like you missed me.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, you can&#8217;t be running around la like this.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Hello. I am in disguise in case you didn&#8217;t notice. You are giving me a serious case of whiplash, deacon. I&#8211; you want me gone and then the next minute you&#8217;re upset because I didn&#8217;t stay put. You can&#8217;t have it both ways. Although given your reaction action, I&#8217;d have to say you do want me up close and personal.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Stop fooling around. I thought you got caught.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: [ Chuckles ] Caught? Who&#8217;d be looking? Everyone thinks I&#8217;m dead.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Not anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What do you mean?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I mean, steffy and finn figured it out. They know you&#8217;re alive.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No. No. No, no. No!<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What are you saying?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Wait, you&#8211; are you serious?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: That&#8217;s not possible.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Sheila was mauled by a bear.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: There&#8217;s no way she could have survived that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: That&#8217;s what we thought too.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What we were supposed to think.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy and I believed that we have proof that sheila is most definitely alive.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Okay. So what&#8217;s this game you&#8217;re playing?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m not playing any game. I&#8217;m just telling you what happened last night.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Finn and steffy figured out that I&#8217;m alive.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yep.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You&#8217;re exaggerating. You&#8211; are just messing with me so I leave peacefully?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, they were here last night.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Finn and steffy were here.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yes. And imagine my surprise. But I was a lot more surprised to learn that they know you&#8217;re still alive.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: But how? I mean, there&#8217;s no possible way they&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Your toe. Your crazy smart gifted son, the doctor, he took a look at it, put it under a microscope, and figured out it was cut off. Not that it was chewed, not that it was gnawed off by some wild animal.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, no. No. You&#8217;re saying this just to freak me out.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Are you kidding? I&#8217;m the one who&#8217;s been freaking out. Don&#8217;t you get it? This is the end of the line. You gotta get the hell out of la and never come back.<\/p>\n<p>Wondering what actually goes<\/p>\n<p>into your multivitamin?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: This is insane. Sheila cut off her own toe.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;m not saying I&#8217;m doubting you, but it&#8217;s hard to believe she pulled this off.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What she did is diabolical.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Aside from the toe, is there any other evidence?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: There&#8217;s bloody clothing that appeared to be torn, not clawed. And she could have used the severed toe to cover it with blood.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: With anybody else involved, this scenario would seem unbelievable. But now knowing that sheila&#8217;s at the center, this&#8211; this is all making horrible sense.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Did you talk to the police about this?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Right before we got here. The forensics team is reinvestigating.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Okay. According to you, the toe tells the tale. It&#8217;s cut off this case closed. But if that&#8217;s the case, then why were the cops so quick to accept sheila&#8217;s death?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: All the pieces seem to add up. I mean&#8211; I mean, full disclosure, we&#8217;re not saying with a hundred percent absolute certainty that sheila is alive.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: But it is what we believe.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, if it&#8217;s true, if sheila is out there, we all have to be very careful.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yes. We already have a security team ready to go.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I wonder where she could be hiding out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We asked your father the exact same question.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Are you sure you just didn&#8217;t misunderstand finn and steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Seriously? Seriously? What, you think I don&#8217;t speak english? No. There was no room for misinterpretation here. They think, they know that you faked your own death. Look, the circumstances have changed sheila dramatically exactly the way I said they would.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You should just calm down. Okay? They have a theory, but they can&#8217;t prove anything.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: They&#8217;ve seen the evidence. Your son, the doctor, he looked at the toe under a microscope.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Still, it&#8217;s only his opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, the cops are gonna see this. They&#8217;re gonna reopen the investigation and then they&#8217;re gonna be convinced too. All right? You&#8211; you hear that sound? You know what that is? That&#8217;s the walls closing in, babe.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Stop panicking.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Really? Stop panicking. When the hell should&#8211; should I panic, when the cops are dragging our ass back to prison? Would that be a good time?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: We&#8217;re&#8211; we&#8217;re not&#8211; we&#8217;re not&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I can&#8217;t do this I can&#8217;t do this anymore. All right. I am done. I cannot risk everything that I have built. I can&#8217;T. You need to leave.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Deacon I just&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, please. I don&#8217;t wanna see you go down. I don&#8217;t, but I can&#8217;t prop you up anymore. I can&#8217;t do it. I gotta think of my&#8211; I gotta think of myself and I gotta think of my daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: How many times do I have to tell you counting me out is a big mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You keep talking about second chances and&#8211; and&#8211; and ways out. Don&#8217;t you get it? There isn&#8217;t one. The cops are going to find you and it cannot be here. You need to leave today.<\/p>\n<p>Restless nights fogging up<\/p>\n<p>your day?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: You spoke to my father?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: We thought he might know something.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, he would have nothing to do with this. He&#8217;s trying to better himself in his life.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, but deacon and sheila had a thing. I mean, you two saw them at il giardino together.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, but that was a very long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We only asked a few questions.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Like what?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: If he&#8217;d seen or heard from sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And if he had any idea where she might be hiding out.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He was as shocked as us.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Aren&#8217;t we all.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: The bottom line is deacon says he hasn&#8217;t heard from sheila and has no idea where she might be.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: [ Exhales ] God, the thought of sheila being alive.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Look we&#8211; we don&#8217;t have any definite proof yet.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: But&#8211; but you believe this, right?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: With every instinct I have.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Same. We know she&#8217;s out there. But we&#8217;re gonna find her and put her behind bars where she belongs.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: So finn and steffy put it all together. Wow. You know, if&#8211; if it didn&#8217;t threaten my existence, I would be so proud my son is brilliant.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You&#8217;re certifiable. You know that? You&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re really gonna go there? Okay, great. You know, whatever. Be proud of your son. Just hit the bricks doing it. All right? Go do it somewhere else.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Okay. I know. I know I&#8211; I can&#8217;t&#8211; I can&#8217;t stay here any longer.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh my god. Oh my god. She&#8217;s got it. She&#8217;s seen the light. Perfect. I&#8217;ll get your bag for you. Okay? Look, I&#8217;m sorry, I don&#8217;t mean to throw you out, but it&#8217;s just gotten too damn risky. They can come back anytime.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know. I&#8211; I get it. I am gonna figure a way out of this.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Look, sheila, I don&#8217;t wanna be debbie downer here, but finn and steffy, they are like two dogs with a bone. They aren&#8217;t gonna be happy until you&#8217;re behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: That&#8217;s never gonna happen. I&#8217;m not going down and neither are you. I appreciate you. You gave me a place to stay. Human contact. And we even had some laughs together, didn&#8217;t we? I am not gonna betray that. No one is ever gonna know where I&#8217;ve been staying all this time.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Biggest mistake I ever made letting you stay here.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh come on. It wasn&#8217;t all bad, was it, daddy?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m surprised you wanted to come here after what happened in the alley.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I like the food. And I&#8217;m not gonna give up a single thing that gives me pleasure just because of sheila carter.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It&#8217;s a good answer.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: But we do have to keep our guard up. Sheila poses a great threat and we have to protect ourselves and our children. But this, the joy that we have, I&#8217;m not gonna let sheila take it away from us. I mean, it was quite the bombshell we dropped at forrester, right?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. No one was expecting us to say sheila was still alive.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know. I&#8217;m just glad mom and dad are out of town. Especially mom. Sheila thought her and my mom were best friends. How are you doing? You haven&#8217;t said much about knowing that your&#8211; your birth mother is still alive. How is it affecting you?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, you know how I feel about sheila. She shot me, steffy. And I possibly may have been able to get over that, but she shot you, the woman that I love more than anything in this world.<\/p>\n<p>Avoiding triggers, but still<\/p>\n<p>get migraine attacks?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: [ Deep sigh ] So what are you thinking? Or do I even wanna know?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I was just thinking about this smoking hot redhead who zeroed in on me at work and then followed me back here for the hottest hookup ever.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh, finally. You finally admitted it.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You know, sheila, I have become oddly used to you. I&#8217;m gonna miss having you around.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know. I&#8211; I&#8217;ve never had many friends, deacon, and you&#8217;ve been a good one.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Be careful out there.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Don&#8217;t worry, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m gonna be fine.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I don&#8217;t know, babe. Something tells me that this is gonna be the last time I see you without bars between us.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Well, I wouldn&#8217;t put your money on that. Right? &#8216;Cause, I&#8211; I can&#8217;t imagine anybody wanting to harbor sheila carter. At this point, everybody knows how dangerous she is.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Maybe some old prison pal.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Could be any of the above. She&#8217;s very resourceful.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And desperate. I mean, you&#8217;d have to be to do something as stomach-churning as cutting off your own toe.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m so impressed with you the way you figured out sheila faked her own death.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It was nothing really. I just was falling a hunch.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s crazy to think that she&#8217;s still out here doing what? Planning what?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hey, the cops are on it now. Okay. They&#8217;re gonna ramp up a search. They&#8217;re gonna get her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: When I think about everything she put us through, the shooting, holding you captive. And I thought I lost you forever.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You feel that? It&#8217;s me. I&#8217;m right here. It all worked out.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank god. I mean, when I heard your voice in monaco and I saw you near that church.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy!<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I knew I got my miracle.<\/p>\n<p>[ Church bell ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I missed you so much.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You&#8217;re alive. You&#8217;re alive.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Nothing was gonna stop me from getting back to you. When sheila was holding me hostage, I knew that I had one job and that was to get my strength back so I could get home to you, to our family. Nothing in this world can even come close to how much I love you. Okay? And I hope those are happy tears.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: [ Chuckles ] They definitely are. Ugh, mascara on me. I love you.
