We wowed the entire fashion world.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I don&#8217;t know about the entire fashion world, but&#8230; I&#8217;m really proud of us, and so is our son.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I know, it&#8217;s pretty awesome, having your son look at you like you climbed mount everest and swam the english channel in the same day.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, I hope he&#8217;ll always feel that way about us. That we&#8217;ll never let him down.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: We won&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, it&#8217;s just&#8230; you know, we&#8217;re not perfect, and try as we might sometimes&#8230; I don&#8217;t know, it&#8217;s unavoidable. You let down the people you love the most sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, um&#8230; tell me if I&#8217;m wrong here, but if you&#8217;re talking about you somehow letting liam down, don&#8217;t you think it&#8217;s the other way around? That he&#8217;s the one who didn&#8217;t show up for you?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, I know. I just&#8230; I wish my husband were as excited for me as our son is.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Aw, well, I&#8217;m glad kelly had a good night. Yeah, no, no, no. Don&#8217;t&#8211; don&#8217;t worry about that. Just&#8211; just, uh, kiss her for me when she wakes up tomorrow. All right. Okay, I&#8217;ll see ya.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door unlocking ]<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Wow, sorry to disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I know you&#8217;re worried about hope and the time she&#8217;s been spending with thomas. But now that the preview is behind them&#8230; it&#8217;s going to be okay, brooke. Your daughter is not going to get sucked in any further by the dressmaker&#8217;s crackpot kid. You know why? Because of me. I will always protect you and the ones you love. Count on it.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey, gimme your hand.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Why should I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[ Glass breaking ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: So you don&#8217;t do that.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Are you okay? All right, come on.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I think&#8211; I think the more pertinent question is are you okay?<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila gasping ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah. Restaurant closed early, seemed like the perfect time.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: For what?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Get you out of that crowded apartment upstairs into the real world. A little night out on the town, or at least downstairs. Pretty cool, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And how can we be sure that somebody is not gonna see us?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: &#8216;Cause I lock the joint up every night, and I made sure the cameras wouldn&#8217;t see us.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah, but isn&#8217;t there a night watchman?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah, you&#8217;re looking at him. You don&#8217;t have to worry about a thing, all right? I know I&#8217;ve been nervous about getting busted, but I have thought this through. I&#8217;ve taken every precaution. You&#8217;re don&#8217;t have to worry, we&#8217;re not gonna get caught.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Caught doing what?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: My, you&#8217;re the one with the twisted imagination.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Mhm.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I just wish liam had been there for the fashion show.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, if he hadn&#8217;t found hope in tommy boy&#8217;s arms, he would have been. Now, I&#8217;m not calling out your daughter, but I absolutely understand why liam had to get out of there.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Liam&#8217;s been watching hope being drawn into thomas&#8217; orbit more and more. I just don&#8217;t know why she doesn&#8217;t see it.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Maybe she doesn&#8217;t wanna see it. &#8216;Cause hope&#8217;s all about second chances and forgiveness, and listen, those are wonderfully admirable qualities, and they could be well-deserved, but not in this case. Not when it comes to the dressmaker&#8217;s mini-me. So here we are, hope is at eric&#8217;s celebrating with thomas and the family, which includes ridge&#8230; and that&#8217;s gotta make you feel very alone.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: So, where&#8217;s my beautiful little niece?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, in bed, fast asleep.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Oh, shoot, that&#8217;s right. Aw, wanted to read her a bedtime story.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, next time, for sure.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Yeah, yeah. So where&#8217;s the M.I.A. Mother? I hear kudos are in order. I heard hope&#8217;s preview was a success and wanted to congratulate her.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, um&#8230; yeah&#8211; is that why you&#8217;re here?<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Yeah, and to see beth, I told you. You not so much.<\/p>\n<p>[ Liam scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That&#8217;s fair.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: So where is she? She, uh, still at forrester or what?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, hope is at eric&#8217;S. With our favorite person.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, listen, look, I know that you&#8217;re bummed about liam not showing up for you at the fashion show or here.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: He had his reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know what? Liam is gonna do what liam is gonna do, but instead of focusing on the people that aren&#8217;t showing up for you, why don&#8217;t you just focus on the people that do? The people that always do. There&#8217;s nothing like hitting the waves.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: All right.<\/p>\n<p>[ Liquid splashing ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: There you go, pouring the good stuff, you really are pampering me.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Bottoms up.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Whoa, bottoms up? What kind of a toast is that? Are you serious? Aren&#8217;t we supposed to be on a date?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What do you wanna hear? Something sappy, like, uh, I don&#8217;t know&#8230; &#8220;oh, sheila, every time I&#8217;m near you, my heart, it just, goes pitter-patter, pitter-patter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>[ Deacon laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah, I like that. I bet you wouldn&#8217;t have problems toasting brooke, now would you?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: So, do we have a deal?<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: When you need a shoulder to lean on, mine&#8217;s the one you&#8217;ll come to first.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, what about my family and their shoulders?<\/p>\n<p>[ Bill snorting ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: What are you talking about? Come on now. Look at these babies. Come on, right? You&#8217;ve seen &#8217;em.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I see them.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Bigger, stronger, and there for you whenever you need them.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Mhm.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Brooke, seriously, uh, sharpe can&#8217;t be coming around here. He&#8217;s trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, so what you&#8217;re saying is, deacon is a part of my family.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: No, that&#8217;s not what I&#8217;m saying&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re saying.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: What I&#8217;m saying&#8211; no, what I&#8217;m saying is that he is hope&#8217;s father, and if they wanna hang out, they&#8217;re welcome to do that all they want, just not here. You need to be completely off limits. And, uh, if you think that&#8217;s because I want you all to myself?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Mm-hmm?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: I do.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Hope&#8217;s with thomas?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, they&#8217;re celebrating over at eric&#8217;S.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Wow, why can&#8217;t that guy just go away? Okay, but aren&#8217;t things winding down by now?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, well, you&#8217;d think. Uh, apparently it was, you know, douglas is still up, big day for him, too. And I&#8211; I guess, you know, he&#8217;s seeing both his mom and his dad on the runway celebrating this victory, and so it&#8217;S&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Fine, I&#8211; I&#8211; I get that. But I just assumed because it&#8217;s late, like&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Wyatt sighing ] Okay, I&#8217;m guessing there&#8217;s more to this situation.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Of course there&#8217;s more to the situation. I want to be happy for hope. I want to be happy for all of her success, I just hate that it has to be shared with thomas. I&#8211; I think he&#8217;s taking advantage of her again, and she doesn&#8217;t see it or doesn&#8217;t want to.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: So, it&#8217;s been like, the coolest day ever. The fashion show, mom on the runway wearing your gown.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, hey, not just wearing it, she was rocking it like nobody&#8217;s business.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: So, I was gonna say, maybe I could come to work with you tomorrow? You know, skip school&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mhm, yeah, keep dreaming there, bud. But, uh, speaking of dreams, I think it might be time for someone to head upstairs and get ready for bed. You&#8217;ve had a very long day.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Do I have to?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: All right. But, since you and mom are here, can you both tuck me in?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I think that can be arranged.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Awesome.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: I wish it was like this every night.<\/p>\n<p>At chewy, you can save<\/p>\n<p>on all the gifts you need<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So, you want me all to yourself?<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Always.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Always is a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Are we getting philosophical now?<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I always believed that I would always be with ridge.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, might be a good time to start. He is with taylor now.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay, bill, yes, I am very well aware of that. But, uh, doesn&#8217;t mean I&#8217;ll stop loving him. I always will. If only I could understand why he left and went into taylor&#8217;s arms.<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Well, you may never have the answer to that. But just knowing this, I will always be your stallion.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Bill neighing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Foot patting ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, so silly.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Why&#8217;d you have to bring brooke up? She&#8217;s not here. Tonight&#8217;s about you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: That&#8217;s what i just don&#8217;t understand though. I&#8211; I knew you wanted to get me out of the apartment, and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Maybe there&#8217;s more to it than that. Maybe I&#8217;m trying to tell you something.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: My, if you&#8217;re gonna propose&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[ Deacon laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: No, no, I&#8217;m&#8211; no. But I&#8217;m having a good time.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Me too.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I have an idea. Why don&#8217;T&#8230; we dance?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Uh&#8230; there&#8217;s no music.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m aware, you know, the place is supposed to be closed. We can&#8217;t be blasting music.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes, someone would definitely hear us.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: We&#8217;re just gonna have to get creative.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh, I can be creative.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh, I&#8211; trust me, I know. Um, okay, so, close your eyes and I want you to think of a song. Get it in your head. We both think about it. And then we&#8217;ll dance.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Never knew you could be so romantic. Well, what song? What song?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: It&#8217;s your night. Ladies&#8217; choice.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh, I like that one.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: More cham-pag-ne?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, no, I shouldn&#8217;T. I actually need to get going.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, well, in that case, how about some of california&#8217;s, I think, finest sparkling cider?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, in that case&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yes, please.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: All right.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yep.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hmm, cheers.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Cheers. You were phenomenal tonight, hope. You really were. It was incredible to see, and now the entire fashion world knows it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope sighing ] They can see what I see, which is this strong, beautiful, passionate woman that I know and adore. Okay everyone, our mission is complete balanced nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Are you enjoying yourself?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8211; I can&#8217;t even begin to tell you how much.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: That&#8217;s what this evening was all about.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Thank you. But seriously deacon, uh&#8230; tonight has been a godsend. I so appreciate you giving me a place to stay, but I really appreciate not having to hide out tonight. I think that this is&#8211; this is what I really miss. Being out in the world, you know, not having to wear a mask.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Well, I guess, then, I should thank you, too. Because as crazy as it sounds, when I&#8217;m with you, I don&#8217;t feel like I have to wear a mask. I can just be myself.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Really, thank you so much for tonight. And creating our own little piece of paradise, even if it is just for a couple of stolen hours. This has just been a great reminder that I have so much to live for. That I&#8211; I&#8217;ve done it before, and&#8230; and I&#8217;ll do it again. My life&#8217;s not over, I&#8217;m&#8211; not by a long shot.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: You and that whinny.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Bill: Look at you. I made you laugh. Do you have any idea how good that makes me feel? I mean it brooke. You don&#8217;t have to be alone. You don&#8217;t have to be hurting. Do you remember how good it was when we were together? I know you haven&#8217;t forgotten. I never will. We were incredible together. And we could be again.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I&#8217;m really grateful for you because I know I couldn&#8217;t have done this without you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Don&#8217;t fall for it, hope. What am I doing?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Today was amazing and thanks in large part to you and all your talent. You really stepped up and not just with hope for the future, but, you know, as a father to douglas. I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope chuckling ] I think it&#8217;s safe to say that you really have changed.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know, you, you and my son have been my inspiration. My inspiration to change from what I was to become a better man. A man that&#8217;s worthy of both of you. You really were my inspiration though, I mean, just thinking back, all of those designs, they&#8211; they were inspired by you. I was thinking about you with every single stitch. And don&#8217;t&#8211; don&#8217;t you see how great of a team that we make? There&#8217;s nothing I wouldn&#8217;t do for you, hope. Literally nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Wait, stop! Stop.
