Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: What was that for?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No reason. Just enjoy kissing my handsome husband, any chance I can.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, I don&#8217;t blame you. Look, I mean, honestly.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, be prepared &#8217;cause you&#8217;re gonna have a lot more kisses coming your way.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Mm-hmm. And to think that you were considering moving over to eric&#8217;S.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, to be fair, I still don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s a bad idea because you&#8217;re worried about thomas with douglas and if I&#8217;m over there, it could put your mind at ease.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No. I don&#8217;t want you going anywhere, for any reason. I want you right here, with me. Besides, how much longer is hope going to allow douglas to stay over there?<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: So cool. These baseball cards were all yours?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Well, they were. &#8216;Til today. I&#8217;d like to give them to you.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Seriously?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: If you&#8217;ll take care of them.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Wow. Look at all this. Nice score, douglas. You know, I think your dad has some of these that are actually autographed.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, I may have kept those separate.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: What a good idea. You might wanna do that with some of these, too. They&#8217;re in danger of being drooled upon. Steffy just called and wants to do another family gathering. You know how hayes is.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Ah, gotcha.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You two are available for another family get together, aren&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: There&#8217;s nothing we&#8217;d like more.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Has thomas given any indication? Any indication, at all, of when he&#8217;s going to let douglas come home?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Okay. This is getting freaking weird, man. Every day that passes, thomas wants douglas to live with him even more. Like why&#8211; why are you not just saying to him that&#8211; that douglas needs to come home? Like, today.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: If I thought douglas was in danger, or being mistreated, I would put an end to it immediately. But we both know that&#8217;s not the case. He&#8217;s having a great time, and I have to be really careful about how I handle this because I do not want this to turn into some full-blown custody battle. I don&#8217;t wanna put douglas through that, and it just would be awful for him.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: There.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: All right, thanks again. I know right where I can put these in my room. Oh, is it okay if I keep the cards there?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Of course. It&#8217;s your room, douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Thanks again, granddad, for letting us stay here. I really appreciate it.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, I wish you wouldn&#8217;t think of it as me letting you stay here. I mean, this is your home. You&#8217;re forresters. And the more of us there are in this house, the better I like it. Nothing more important than family.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, I couldn&#8217;t agree more.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, don&#8217;t get too excited &#8217;cause your dad might not be available. Brooke might have plans for him.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She may, but they could always postpone it. She wants to bring the family together again.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: That means taylor. Am I invited? Who says you have to spend more on skincare<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s a family get together. You&#8217;re family, so yeah, you&#8217;re invited. You wanna go?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Did steffy invite us or you? Okay, look. I just&#8211; I just really, really, really want you to be careful, and not let your guard down.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I never do.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Good.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Both sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, it is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Both: Thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um, well, maybe it&#8217;s him calling to ask about dropping douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh-ho-ho, I doubt it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Clears throat ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hey, thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey, you&#8217;re on speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Hi, mom!<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, hey, bud. I&#8217;m so happy you called. What&#8217;s up?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: A lot. Actually, we are planning another whole big party. Steffy and finn are on the way.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: It&#8217;s gonna be super fun. Maybe you could come?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, um&#8230; yeah, I guess I could stop by for a little bit.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Awesome. And I already know what you&#8217;re going to say, but you should have heard him. He was so excited.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hey. Why do you suppose it is that, um, I didn&#8217;t get an invite? Do you think it&#8217;s possible, at least possible, that thomas&#8217;s old feelings for you are starting to be rekindled?<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Hi, honey bear. You ready for a martini?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Donna? I thought you were&#8230; donna? Wh&#8211; douglas? Was that you?<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Yeah. This really funny app. You just sample somebody&#8217;s voice, and then you say whatever you want, and it says that in that voice. Really cool, right?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Now, what is this I&#8217;m hearing about a party?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Not a party&#8211; a party? Who said anything about a party? No, no, no. When steffy called, she said it was just a get together. If she had said party, I probably would&#8217;ve said no. But, you know&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Right. Sure. If it was up to you, I think that you&#8217;d have a party every night.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You&#8217;re absolutely right.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Yeah, mom&#8217;s coming, too.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Now, that&#8217;s great news.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Cool. That&#8217;s cool.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hello, hello!<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Hello, ridge. Come in, come in.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Dad, I got bad news for you. There&#8217;s riffraff in your driveway. You gotta change the code to your gate. It&#8217;s just getting worse and worse.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey! Not kicking us out this time.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: Hey douglas, wanna play?<\/p>\n<p>Douglas: Yeah! Let&#8217;s go to my room.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Ah, [Indistinct].<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Look at that, running up those stairs. I love that. Look at this guy! Has he grown another foot since I saw him last?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, he&#8217;s getting big. I think he&#8217;s gonna be big like his daddy.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, he may get his height from his dad, but good looks? Boom, right here.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh, no&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s a whole family of good looks.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: No.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: He&#8217;s getting his swag from his cousin, that&#8217;s for sure.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay, it does not matter who he gets his good traits from. We&#8217;re gonna love him anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: That&#8217;s true. Look, no offense. I know his last name is finnegan, but&#8230; to me, he&#8217;s a forrester. Through and through.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, no. I&#8217;m not offended. In fact, I&#8217;m almost certain he&#8217;s gonna take after his strong, determined, fearless forrester mother.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Totally.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;m gonna be able to explain to you how much this means to me to have you all here. This multi-generational group. This house where I raised my own kids. And some of my grandkids are here, and then my great-grandson, and my great-great-grandson.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ] It brings this house alive to have you all here. You fill it with love. Thank you. I have moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Listen. You are my wife. The love of my life. And I can&#8217;t help it, every instinct I have is about protecting you and our family. And I just&#8211; I just really want you to be safe.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And I appreciate that, I do. But I really don&#8217;t think I need any protecting from thomas. And if I&#8217;m being honest&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Uh-huh?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I don&#8217;t think douglas does either. So, try not to worry. Okay? I&#8217;ll keep you updated?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, but&#8211; hey, hey, you&#8211; but you are gonna&#8211; you are gonna, like, bring douglas home with you today, right?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yes. But I&#8211; I mean, we also have to see how it goes.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: See how it g&#8211; the kid&#8217;s been over there eight years already. Uh, thomas and douglas called and invited hope over to a little family soir\u00e9e, which I&#8217;m pretty sure is french for pretext.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh. Well, that&#8217;s interesting. Ridge is on his way over there too. I feel like there&#8217;s something more going on here.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Funny, I have the same feeling.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Steffy, thank you for suggesting this. I was bummed that I wasn&#8217;t home the other night when you guys got together.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Granddad told me about your hot date.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: I would&#8217;ve preferred to be here.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Well, you&#8217;re in luck, zende, because steffy&#8217;s new thing is to have parties. So, if you miss one, there&#8217;ll be another one coming up.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Is that a problem?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: No, actually, I love it. It reminds me of old times.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, me too.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Anyway. Hope is on her way, just fyi.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, boy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hope&#8217;s coming?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, you didn&#8217;t&#8211; you didn&#8217;t tell us that you invited her.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, I know that she&#8217;s, like, a dreaded logan and all, but she is douglas&#8217;s mother, right? So, she&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s family.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And she&#8217;s welcome in this house any time.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. I&#8217;m just hoping that hope doesn&#8217;t bring up where douglas should or shouldn&#8217;t be living.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. I mean, how does she feel about douglas spending so much time over here?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Well, she actually doesn&#8217;t mind douglas spending time over here. It&#8217;s when he stays, that is kind of an issue. But she&#8217;s being as supportive as she can be.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Is she coming around to the fact that you want douglas living with you?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Um, well, I don&#8217;t know if she&#8217;s exactly gone that far. Look, we&#8217;re trying to do our best to make this work, and not put douglas in the middle of it or cause him any harm.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, the thing that bothers me is that she thinks you would cause him harm.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: That is why I invited her over here, so that she can see that this is an amazing place for douglas to be.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay. Just don&#8217;t be surprised if hope insists on bringing douglas home tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Hope, hi. Come in. I&#8217;m glad to see you.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Um, did thomas let you know that I&#8217;d be stopping by?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He warned us, yes.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: [Whispers] Steffy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, great. Um, is douglas&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, yeah, yeah. He&#8217;s upstairs with kelly, they&#8217;re playing, and amelia&#8217;s watching them.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. I won&#8217;t interrupt him just yet.<\/p>\n<p>[ Clearing throat ] But thank you, everyone, for including me.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Ah, you&#8217;ll&#8211; you&#8217;ll always be included. It&#8217;s what I was just talking about before you got here. You are douglas&#8217;s mother, and that makes you family. Alice loves the scent of gain so much,<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hope can think that thomas isn&#8217;t consciously up to no good, this time around, but how can she deny that something is off? You know?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I feel the same way. It&#8217;s like there&#8217;s outside forces at play. And taylor and steffy, they are all too eager to take advantage. And we both know that steffy and thomas want their parents back together.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, well, they can want what they want, but ridge is still your husband.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Doesn&#8217;t seem to matter to them. Now that douglas is over there, they have even more ammunition. I think they have more reasons to lure ridge over there, to be a part of their sweet little family.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Here&#8217;s to us. Seeing you two in each other&#8217;s arms. I still can&#8217;t quite process what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know, I&#8217;m still trying to process it, too.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It was so beautiful. It really was. I&#8211; I wish I could explain to the two of you what happened. It was filled with so many emotions, and&#8230; I dunno, it was just&#8211; it was a day filled with magical surprises.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, those looks!<\/p>\n<p>Hope: The look that kelly gave douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I know, and he just dove and it was&#8211; it was crazy. With the&#8211; he just threw, like, I feel like it was [Indistinct]&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What is&#8211; what is going on?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh, you had to be there.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: It was just&#8211; they were fighting over who got to put the last puzzle piece, and it was just&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Douglas seems like he&#8217;s really enjoying himself here.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m pleased that he is. That he gets to spend time with his dad and his great granddad. I think that&#8217;s important.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, it&#8217;s important. It&#8217;s the most important thing because we all can learn from this great man, mr. Eric forrester. The patriarch. I&#8217;m still learning from him. Thank you so much for having us&#8211; always having us. And welcoming us with open arms, always.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: We&#8217;re family, all of us. That door is never locked to any of us.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And we appreciate that &#8217;cause this is&#8211; what do you call it? Our&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Shangri-la.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Shangri-la, right? This is a place where forresters go to do whatever they need to do, whether it&#8217;S&#8230; a funeral or a wedding or any kind of celebration. And that&#8217;s what today is. It&#8217;s a celebration. And I&#8217;m so glad you&#8217;re here for it because we wanna celebrate you and celebrate everything that you&#8217;ve done for that little boy. Everything that you gave him. You gave him everything he needed.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And I will always be there for him.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, I know that. I know that. But now, you don&#8217;t have to do it alone because thomas is here, and he&#8217;s a loving, caring father, just like you. Look at you, you&#8217;re such a great dad, and a great husband.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: There&#8217;s nothing more important to me or cherished, than steffy and the kids.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: The kids&#8211; they&#8217;re always going to be your kids. You know that, right? I look at these two goofballs, and they&#8217;ve fully grown, but they&#8217;re still my kids. And I&#8217;m so proud of you guys. We are&#8211; we&#8217;re&#8211; we&#8217;re proud of you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: So, so very proud. Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And if I haven&#8217;t said it before, you guys are who you are because of this woman. Because of her strength, and her wisdom and she&#8211; she loved you into the people that you are today. This gorgeous, amazing woman right here. Look, if I learned anything, it&#8217;s that this family is not the same when you&#8217;re not around. This has been a rough couple of months for all of us, but we made it through. We weathered the storm, right? And we&#8217;re here, and we&#8217;re stronger than ever.
