An intimate moment with another woman. I&#8211; I just, I don&#8217;t&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So taylor kissed you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We kissed each other.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ah. Yeah. It&#8217;s mutual.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: But it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s not&#8230; finn and steffy just found their way back to each other in monaco. And steffy&#8217;s life is back on track and just, it was&#8230; I know it sounds stupid but it was the joy of it all and we just got caught up in it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. So, you sealed it with a kiss.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Did you get the kids to sleep?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. I just&#8211; it amazes me how fast they go down, like a sudden energy drain.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, you&#8217;re so lucky. You know, you and phoebe and thomas fought bedtime like crazy. The more ridge and I tried to get you to go down, the more hyper you all got.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Good times.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: The best.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know, they don&#8217;t have to be behind us. What happened between you and dad in monaco proves it. Was that what you were thinking about when I just walked in?<\/p>\n<p>[ Knock on door ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: It&#8217;s open!<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: It&#8217;s, uh, nice not having all that extra security outside now that we finally don&#8217;t have to worry about sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Huh, seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You got a sec?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hmm. Yeah, what&#8217;s up?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I&#8217;m here to talk about douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Mmm. I gotta tell you, buddy, it is good to be back on this side of the bar.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: You know, deacon, you might want to just&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Eh, eh, all right, I gotta binge drink every once in a while, all right? All work and no play makes deacon a dull boy. Can&#8217;t have that.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Hey, did you hear the news about sheila carter? She&#8217;s dead.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Unbelievable. Killed by a bear. You know, that&#8217;s probably the only thing that could take sheila carter out. What a way to go.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Hey, you might want to slow down.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: All right, all right. Who are you, my mother?<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Look, I&#8217;m just trying to look out for my boy. Didn&#8217;t you say you had a big day tomorrow?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What are you talking about?<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Well, I might&#8217;ve gotten the dates wrong, but didn&#8217;t you say you had a meeting with your parole officer?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh! Mmm. Yes. Thank you for reminding me. Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Okay, so I&#8217;m wondering is it really a good idea for you to be knocking them back like this?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m fine. I&#8217;m fine. I&#8217;ll get back on the straight and narrow. Which, by the way, is who I am 99% of the time. Trust me. Day in and day out. I&#8217;m not a saint here, so every now and then, I might revert. But trust me, I&#8217;m not going to jeopardize what I have, you know. What I&#8217;ve managed to build. Got a roof over my head, albeit here. Got the love and respect of my daughter. Her mother doesn&#8217;t hate seeing me every time. And, uh, I&#8217;d be a fool to screw that up, do anything that would wind me up back in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I hope this isn&#8217;t a bad time.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Actually, I&#8217;m kind of in the middle of something.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, well, it won&#8217;t take long. The first thing I want to say is, look, I&#8217;m not trying to upset you or frustrate you in any way, all right? But I meant what I said before. Douglas should live with me, his father.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know what I think?<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor laughing]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;re gonna tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I am.<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: That kiss you shared with dad? It&#8217;s probably on his mind too.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, probably. But I&#8217;m sure that brooke is doing everything she can to keep all his attention.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Not for long.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You know, I don&#8217;t know if I should be inspired by your single minded optimism for your father and me or if I should be completely exhausted.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Do both.<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor chuckling ] You know, it&#8217;s pretty crazy that you and thomas are kind of in similar situations. He needs douglas and you need dad.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: To say I&#8217;m thrown, well, I mean, I never expected you and taylor to be kissing. I guess I&#8217;m just naive.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It wasn&#8217;t planned. It just happened. It&#8211; it came out of the joy of&#8211; of seeing my daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ridge, I mean, I understand what it&#8217;s like getting caught up in something. But this is a little different. This isn&#8217;t just some stranger. I mean, she used to be your wife. You were married to her. You had children with her. So there were feelings there. I appreciate you being honest with me, but I&#8217;m going to be honest with you right now. To hear about this, it&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke sighing ] I mean, it&#8211; it hurts. I&#8217;m just disappointed.<\/p>\n<p>Frank is a fan of fast.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s a fast talker.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Prison. I can&#8217;t imagine what that&#8217;s like.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Something tells me that you wouldn&#8217;t like it very much.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: Maybe you should call it a night. You&#8217;ve had enough, all right? Go home and get all fresh and shiny for your parole officer tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey, come here. The redhead over there is burning a hole in me. Eh, maybe it&#8217;s just wishful thinking because I&#8217;ve got to be honest, it&#8217;s been a while since daddy&#8217;s had any action.<\/p>\n<p>Bartender: No, no, no, no, no. I&#8217;m definitely feeling the vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I really don&#8217;t want to get into this right now, so if&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, okay, you made that clear, but we have joint custody, all right? We need to talk about this. Things can&#8217;t stay the way that they are.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Why not? Why not? Things have worked out beautifully. I mean, douglas, he&#8217;s happy.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah. He is. And&#8211; and I&#8217;m so grateful to you and liam for giving him this solid foundation when I couldn&#8217;t, all right? But I have to take a bigger role in my son&#8217;s upbringing.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Thomas, you know you have access to douglas when&#8211; whenever you want.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: And so can you, all right? But things have to change. I need to be douglas&#8217; primary parent.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: But we can&#8217;t just uproot him. This is his home.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, and douglas can spend as much time here as he wants. Look, I know how much douglas loves you, but he loves me too. He misses me. You heard him. And I miss him. We need to be together.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I got a text from thomas earlier. He was on his way to hope&#8217;s to talk about douglas&#8217; living situation.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, that&#8217;s good. The sooner thomas and douglas are settled in, the better. I mean, it should have happened a long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, but he just wanted to make sure his head was in the right place. This is a big decision.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Douglas&#8217; well-being is most important.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. Yeah, it is. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m so proud of thomas for the way he&#8217;s moved through all his challenges. He&#8217;s&#8211; he&#8217;s come back stronger and wiser.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know. It&#8217;s time for thomas to be with his son. Douglas needs to be back with his family, just like dad needs to be with you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, as for ridge and brooke, even though they&#8217;re not technically &#8220;back together&#8221;, he&#8217;s still married to her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, but you two kissed. And what I&#8217;m picking up on, it was pretty good.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Mm, not exactly. It was epic.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mom.<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: The mental image of you and taylor kissing, well, it bothers me. Yeah. It hurts. But I can understand, ridge. Really, you guys just got caught up in the joy of everything that was going on.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We did. It must have been incredible. You were there, and you found out that finn was alive and&#8211; and he reunited with steffy and you&#8211; you saw her depression lift. So for you and taylor, that must have been incredibly intense.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s the most amazing thing. The most amazing day.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Wow. Okay. Um, so you kissed. And it was mutual. I have to ask, what kind of a kiss was it? Age-related macular degeneration may lead to severe vision loss.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I don&#8217;t think we&#8217;re ready for new remodelling yet. Hmm, can&#8217;t afford that. Sure as hell&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking on door ] Lady, I don&#8217;t know who you are but I sure would like to know what&#8217;s on your mind. Really?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Please, spend as much time with your son as you want, but don&#8217;t&#8211; don&#8217;t change the living situation because of that. Don&#8217;t change what he knows.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay, hope, this isn&#8217;t some impulsive move on my part. I&#8217;ve thought about this for a long time. It wasn&#8217;t just because of what douglas said, though that did make my decision final. I&#8217;ve already spoken with my granddad and he&#8217;s happy to have us over at the family home.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So eric supports you uprooting douglas?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: He knows it&#8217;s time for my son to be with me. To be with our family, to be living as a forrester. And more importantly, he knows it&#8217;s time for me to be a 24\/7 dad to my son.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I am certain this kiss meant something to dad. You shared something special in monaco.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: We sure did. Our mutual happiness for you, my love.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Okay, sure, that was the catalyst, but you guys could&#8217;ve just hugged it out. Instead you had this, like, epic kiss. Mom, this is what you&#8217;ve wanted. You have a real chance with dad. You need to take charge. Go out there. Fight for him.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: What kind of kiss was it? I don&#8217;t know. I don&#8217;t understand. What do you&#8211; it was&#8211; it was real.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, okay, it was real. So, does that mean you have real feelings for taylor?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No. I don&#8217;t&#8211; I, well, I, no, I&#8211; I do have&#8211; yes, I have feelings for her, she&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yes! She&#8217;s the mother of my children, I was married to her, of course I have feelings for her. But this is not&#8211; not like the feelings I have for you. The&#8211; I love you more than anything.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, I love you more than anything.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. Mm. Okay, look. I know that you have forgiven me for a lot of kisses. So I am going to forgive you for this one kiss with taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Mm-hm.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So, it&#8217;s settled. We&#8217;re just moving right on, right? Just moving on. There is something else that I need to talk to you about. It&#8217;s thomas. And his role in douglas&#8217; life.<\/p>\n<p>Now glossy hair starts<\/p>\n<p>with your shampoo.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: All right. Come on. [Indistinct]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Look, I am grateful to you and to liam for giving douglas this amazing home to live in. But thinking of liam as douglas&#8217; full-time father figure, I just&#8211; I&#8211; I can&#8217;t do it. Look, nothing against liam. He&#8217;s a nice guy. And&#8211; and he&#8217;s treated douglas well.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: He&#8217;s treated douglas like his own.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Right, and that&#8217;s the problem. Douglas is my son. I know that this probably comes as a surprise to you, but you had to know this day would come eventually. In any case, I want douglas to spend the night with me, over at granddad&#8217;s tomorrow night.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Just like that, no further discussion? Don&#8217;t you think we should get liam involved and talk logistics, or&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Look, for a very long time, I have allowed you and liam to make decisions on douglas&#8217; behalf and with basically no input from me, all right? But that has to change. I hope you can understand. Please don&#8217;t fight me on this.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Don&#8217;t let this possibility of you and dad just slip away. The one thing I&#8217;ve learned recently is that nothing is forever. You have to take every minute with the people that you love. Please just don&#8217;t give up on dad.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I won&#8217;T. I&#8217;m done be passive and minding my manners. I believe in ridge and me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I wanted to talk to you about thomas&#8217; plans for douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay. That&#8217;s good because I want to talk to you about that too. Thomas has moved into my dad&#8217;s house and he wants douglas to be part of that and I support it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What? No. Douglas has been living with hope and liam now for a very long time and thomas signed off on that.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: He signed off on it because he was in a bad place. You know he was. And he&#8217;s better now. He is. I mean, you see him. He&#8217;s focused. And not just on work but on the one thing, the most important thing in his life and that&#8217;s his relationship with his son.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay. I have seen them together. They have a nice relationship. They&#8217;re bonded. And my daughter certainly hasn&#8217;t interfered with that.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I didn&#8217;t say that. No&#8211; no one ever said that. No, she&#8217;s been amazing. She&#8217;s been great. After caroline died, she was there and she&#8211; she built this solid foundation for that little boy. But now, he needs to be with his dad. He needs to learn about our family.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No&#8211; no listen to me. He needs to learn about our family. He needs to learn about his legacy and his birthright. And&#8211; and I know. I get it. I know you&#8217;re concerned about thomas, that he&#8217;s going to maybe slide back to where he was. But he won&#8217;T. Because I&#8217;m gonna&#8211; I&#8217;m gonna be there. I&#8217;m going to make sure that he succeeds.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And what about hope? I mean, douglas looks at her as his mother. That&#8217;s what she is to him. She&#8211; she adopted him, for god&#8217;s sakes!<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: She&#8217;s always gonna be in his life. We&#8217;re not saying that that&#8217;s not going to happen. But that little boy can&#8217;t live with hope and liam anymore. He needs to know where his father is. He needs to understand that. And I really need you to support me on this.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh my gosh, ridge, no. Thomas can&#8217;t have whatever he wants. He can&#8217;t just waltz in here and take his son. No. He lives with hope, liam, and his little baby sister. That is his family. That is what he knows. That&#8217;s his stability. I&#8217;m not going to allow it. He needs to stay with my daughter.
