His family&#8217;s been given a second chance.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Did you see the way that finn&#8217;s face lit up when he saw his kids?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: This whole thing is like a dream to me.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It is like a dream. Finn was just standing right here. Our daughter&#8217;s getting her life back.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ] Oh, it&#8217;s baker. I gotta take this. Baker. Hey, how are you doing? Listen, we&#8217;ve got some incredible news. Finn is alive.<\/p>\n<p>Baker: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You know how? You heard?<\/p>\n<p>Baker: Yes, it&#8217;s incredible. And I&#8217;m very happy for your daughter and your entire family.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, we&#8217;re&#8211; we&#8217;re&#8211; we&#8217;re happy. We&#8217;re in shock. But we, you know, we&#8217;re happy.<\/p>\n<p>Baker: I&#8217;m sorry I have to take that away from you but I&#8217;m afraid I have some bad news.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: About what?<\/p>\n<p>Baker: Sheila carter. She&#8217;s gotten away again.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking intensifies ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m off the clock, paul.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking ] I&#8217;m not covering another shift. What are you doing here?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m running out there. They&#8217;re looking for me.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Of course they&#8217;re looking for you! You busted out of prison. What did you think was gonna happen?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Please, please, deacon. Just&#8211; please, just give me a minute. Don&#8217;t turn me in. I&#8217;ve got&#8211; I&#8217;ve got nowhere to go.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy! Oh, I&#8211; I thought you were someone else. Sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Man: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.<\/p>\n<p>Qu&#8217;est-ce que tu fais?<\/p>\n<p>[ Woman speaking french ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I can&#8217;t believe sheila escaped again.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I can&#8217;t believe that either. At least, baker says that li&#8217;s okay and they found that bastard, guthrie.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ] Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay. Finn. I&#8217;ll put him on speaker. Any luck?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: No. I thought I saw steffy but it wasn&#8217;t her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: All right, don&#8217;t give up. We&#8217;ll find her.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You know what?<\/p>\n<p>Amelia just came to<\/p>\n<p>take the kids. Ridge and I will join you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay. Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>[ Beep ] Where are you, steffy? Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: There he is, finn.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Oh, hey. Yeah. Still no sign of steffy. Uh&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We can go over here and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: Uh. Finn. You are alive.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Uh, this is flavia. Steffy&#8217;s therapist.<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: Excuse-moi. I have to give you a hug.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay. Oh.<\/p>\n<p>[ Flavia laughs joyously ]<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: I&#8211; I never thought I would say this, but it&#8217;s a real pleasure to meet you. Steffy&#8217;s going to be over the moon to see you. I send you some, uh, places where she could be taking a walk. Yes. Recently, she&#8217;s been taking very long walks by herself.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, without her phone. I mean, I&#8217;ve been trying to get a hold of her.<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: She has very deep depression right now. She really doesn&#8217;t care about anything else but her kids and&#8211; all she wants to do is be with you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I gotta see her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well&#8211; well, let&#8217;s split up. We have a better chance of finding her.<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: Okay. You can go to the promenade. I&#8217;m going to do the port and you take the square.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: I&#8217;ll show you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Flavia: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8211; I can&#8217;t let them find me.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, you can&#8217;t run forever.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m going to do whatever it takes to stay our of prison.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: &#8220;Whatever it takes.&#8221; That&#8217;s the exact attitude that keeps getting you into trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, I wouldn&#8217;t be in any of this trouble if steffy hadn&#8217;t come after me. I&#8211; I&#8211; I&#8211; I tried. I tried. I&#8211; I&#8211; walked away and she just wouldn&#8217;t stop&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You don&#8217;t get it. You are not the victim here.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m not saying that I am.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What really happened in that alley that night, I want to know. What? Did&#8211; did steffy call you out or something for manipulating brooke into drinking? Then maybe, what? You were afraid that finn would shut you out if he found the truth&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I never wanted to hurt steffy&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: No. But then you shot her to shut her up.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I had no choice. By that time, it was either her or I was going away for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: She has two little kids. Little kids. And you were okay with taking away their mother? You were taking both of hayes&#8217; parents away?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: But I didn&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What the hell were you doing with a gun in the first&#8211; you know, don&#8217;t even answer that. I don&#8217;t even want to know. The less I know, the better. Besides, nothing you say is going to change the fact that you killed your son.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: But I didn&#8217;T. That&#8217;s the beauty in all of this, deacon. I didn&#8217;t kill my son. My son&#8230; he&#8217;s alive.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila laughing quietly ]<\/p>\n<p>[ City din ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Will you marry me?<\/p>\n<p>Will you be my wife?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can&#8217;t believe it!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re getting married.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And we&#8217;re having<\/p>\n<p>a baby.<\/p>\n<p>As a sign of my love<\/p>\n<p>and commitment to you.<\/p>\n<p>Woman: Excusez-moi.<\/p>\n<p>Est-ce que \u00e7a va?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Woman: Are you okay?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No.<\/p>\n<p>Woman: Is there anything I can do to help?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: There&#8217;s no one who can help me.<\/p>\n<p>Woman: Maybe there is.<\/p>\n<p>[ Bell tolling ]<\/p>\n<p>Only daisy cottage cheese will do<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: So li smuggled finn&#8217;s body out of the hospital to keep him alive.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes! Isn&#8217;t that magnificent. I have been with finn this whole time.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: And you and li were hiding him, letting everyone think that he was still dead.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, li was trying to protect him.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah. From you?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, we were both taking care of him. We wanted to be certain he was fully recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: This is&#8211; this is just&#8211; it&#8217;s surreal. This is too weir&#8211; I mean, it&#8217;s extraordinary, but I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know. I know. It was&#8211; it was&#8230; it was for me, too. I&#8211; I broke out of prison thinking that I was going to see finn&#8217;s grave. And what I got was the biggest relief of my life: More time with my boy.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I mean, this is absolutely unbelievable. Finn&#8217;s mother brought him back to life.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes. Yes. I mean, I had to shock his heart several times but&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I was talking about li. By the way, has anyone bothered to tell steffy that her husband&#8217;s alive?<\/p>\n<p>&gt; Sheila: Well&#8211; well, finn is possibly being reunited with her right now. I mean, that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve ever wanted for my son, is his happiness.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh, yeah, of course. So where does that leave you now? I&#8211; I mean, I would love to have a place with&#8211; with finn and hayes in their lives, but obviously that&#8217;s not going to happen, deacon. I&#8217;m a fugitive.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: So you came here? Sheila, for god&#8217;s sake, I am on probation.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: How&#8217;s that going for ya? Okay, look. I&#8217;m sorry. But you&#8217;re all I&#8217;ve got. I need your help.<\/p>\n<p>[ Deacon sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s not that big a place.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No. All right, I&#8217;m going this way. Steffy!<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Excuse me. Hi. I&#8217;m sorry. Deacon, I promise I&#8217;ll never ask for a favor again.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila. You&#8217;re asking me to harbor a fugitive. I&#8211; I can&#8217;t&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I promise that you are not going to get drug into this. They&#8217;re never even going to know I was here. I&#8211; I just, I&#8211; I just need a place to stay&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>&gt;. Deacon: You know, I&#8217;m barely out of prison myself. I&#8217;m on probation. What do you want me to do? You want me to give up my freedom for you?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: If I go back out there, I&#8217;m going to get caught. And they&#8217;re going to throw the book at me and then that&#8217;ll be it. I&#8217;ll never see the light of day, again. So yes, I made mistakes. I could have killed someone. But I didn&#8217;T. No one died. Steffy and finn, they&#8217;re&#8211; they&#8217;re doing fine.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You got lucky. That doesn&#8217;t mean you get a free pass.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know, I&#8211; I know. I know I deserve to be punished for my actions. But all those weeks, thinking that I murdered my son, that was torture enough. And it tore me up inside. You know that finn means everything to me. And you know that I wanted steffy to accept me. I&#8217;ve&#8211; I&#8217;ve never been able to connect with people, deacon. And I felt like I was getting close to taylor. Like, I actually had a chance to be part of the family. A family that you destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No! Finn is alive. He and steffy have been given the gift of a new beginning. This event, this horrible, awful tragedy is&#8211; it&#8217;s going to bring them together and make them even better. It&#8217;s going to give them a bond that can&#8217;t be broken. And they will heal. And they&#8217;re gonna get to see their children grow up.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Do you&#8211; do you even hear yourself? A gift? So what happens now, sheila? You just&#8211; you just keep on cruising like nothing ever happened?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I don&#8217;t&#8211; I don&#8217;t know. I don&#8217;t&#8211; I don&#8217;t&#8211; I don&#8217;t know what the future holds for me. I just know I can&#8217;t go back behind bars because I&#8217;m not going to survive there. Please, deacon. I know I&#8217;m asking a lot. But&#8211; but, I need you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Banging ]<\/p>\n<p>Baker: Open up, sharpe. We&#8217;re looking for sheila carter. Open up.<\/p>\n<p>[ Banging ] Sharpe.
