What makes it unusual is that it takes place in northern Canada, in the wilderness. It&#8217;s a Canadian show, but we&#8217;re seeing it down here on streaming. Most of the actors are newbies, and Canadian, but you&#8217;ll probably recognize veteran actor Aaron Ashmore, who plays Weezer, the senior person on the team.<\/p>\n<p>Every ensemble show like this starts from a new person&#8217;s point of view, so we, the audience, can learn who is who and what is what. In this show, it&#8217;s nurse Hayley, played by Natasha Calis. She has left the big city to get away to the wilderness, but we don&#8217;t know why. She&#8217;s not the only one, either.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s quite a bit of action and adventure in the show to keep your attention. Weaving together intense character journeys with high-stakes medical rescues, a diverse cast of young medical responders must rely on each other for survival at 20,000 feet in the air.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The series stars Natasha Calis (\u201cNurses\u201d) as Hayley, Ace\u00a0\u201cAason\u201d\u00a0Nadjiwon (\u201cBatwoman\u201d<span lang=\"da-DK\">) as Bodie, Morgan Holmstrom (<\/span>\u201cSiberia\u201d) as Crystal, Praneet Akilla (NANCY DREW<span lang=\"da-DK\">) as Chopper, Thomas Elms (<\/span>\u201cThe Order\u201d) as Nowak, Mercedes Morris (\u201cBetween\u201d<span lang=\"de-DE\">) as Lexi, Kheon Clarke (<\/span>RIVERDALE) as Tristan, and Braeden Clarke (\u201cOutlander\u201d<span lang=\"pt-PT\">) as Jeremy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">SKYMED is produced by Piazza Entertainment in association withCBC and CBS Studios.
