First I&#8211; hurt my ankle and then the power went out.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, it&#8217;s windy outside, that&#8217;s probably what caused the blackout.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I know there&#8217;s tons of security out there, but I still thought maybe it was sheila coming to get me. I&#8217;m just glad you&#8217;re here.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opens ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey, mom.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Hi! Hi, babe. How was your day?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I grabbed these for you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh, my gosh. Honey, they&#8217;re beautiful. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Of course. I figured you could use a&#8211; a little pick me up.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I really, really could. Thank you so much. They&#8211; they&#8217;re gorgeous. You&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re the best roommate ever.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Okay. So, it&#8217;s not so bad having me around, then?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, I love having you here. Especially with steffy being away.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: What are you looking at?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>[ Thomas sighs ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Happier days.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. You know steffy and finn were such a cute couple. But he&#8217;s gone now. She&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s lost her husband&#8230; forever. I wish so much for her that finn was still alive.<\/p>\n<p>[ Heart rate monitor beeping ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You shot me.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m so sorry. Please, you&#8217;ve got to believe me. I&#8211; it was just an accident. I&#8211; I never meant to hurt you. Please. You&#8217;ve just got&#8211; you&#8217;ve got to believe me, finn. You just have to believe me.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: These are so beautiful. You know, your father was here earlier, talked to steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Oh. How&#8217;s she doing?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well. You know, she&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s doing as well as she possibly can.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I&#8217;m glad to hear that. I do miss her, though.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Me too. So much.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: But now, I am so glad that she&#8217;s out of town. Considering what happened with sheila. For steffy&#8217;s safety.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Here. Take this.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, wow.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Gets the inflammation down.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: My hero.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke clears her throat ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I texted the jacksons up the road and they have no power either. It&#8217;s the whole neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Sounds like we&#8217;re in for a long night. Just the two of us. Cut off from the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I could think of worse predicaments.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Me too. House is cozy and safe. Thanks to you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m here for you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh. That&#8211; that night in the alley, I&#8211; I didn&#8217;t see you. You weren&#8217;t supposed to be there. And by the time I did, it was&#8211; it was already too late. You&#8211; you have to believe me. It was such a terrible&#8211; mistake. Because I love you. I would never do anything to harm you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Heart rate monitor beeping ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Put the phone down. Don&#8217;t do it, steffy.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sobbing ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You. You were going to shoot steffy.<\/p>\n<p>From prom dresses<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Sheila made me doubt myself. Made me question who I am. And also, she&#8217;s making me fear for my life.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You don&#8217;t have to worry about sheila as long as I&#8217;m around.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, you are all that I need, ridge. When you&#8217;re here, everything is fine. But when you&#8217;re not&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Just been hard, you know, living with myself, feeling the shame and guilt for breaking my sobriety. Kissing deacon. And the worst part of it was seeing you in pain.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m here. So I think about you, something maybe hurting you, and I can&#8217;t sleep. I&#8217;ll always be here.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I can&#8217;t believe sheila escaped.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: It&#8217;s like one minute of peace and then she makes a break for it.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: How have the police not found her?<\/p>\n<p>[ Cell phone rings ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hang on. Hello. Uh, yeah. Yeah. Send him up. Jack&#8217;s here.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: That makes sense.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking on door ]<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Jack, hey.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: Thomas. Thank you. I, uh, tried calling.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It&#8217;s okay, jack. I&#8211; I&#8217;m glad you&#8217;re here. I&#8217;ve been thinking about you. It&#8217;s been a few days since we last spoke.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: Well, I, uh, I have been laying low. I&#8217;ve been to myself. There&#8217;s something oddly comforting about being here in, in finn&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, you&#8217;re his father. You&#8217;re welcome here any time.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah. Uh, can I get you like some tea or water?<\/p>\n<p>Jack: No, thank you. Saw that you&#8217;ve increased security since the last time I came by.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, well, we can&#8217;t be too safe these days.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: It&#8217;s crazy that they haven&#8217;t found shelia yet.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know. We were just saying the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: What that woman did to my son. I miss him, taylor. I miss my boy so much.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You were going to&#8212; you were going to shoot steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I can explain.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn moans ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I know. I know. You must be angry. I am, too. But steffy, she just wouldn&#8217;t let up. She wouldn&#8217;t listen. And&#8211; I asked her nicely, repeatedly. And&#8211; and she&#8211; she just wouldn&#8217;t give your mom any slack at all. If only&#8211; if&#8211; if only she hadn&#8217;t tried so hard to keep me away from you and hayes.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn moans ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hay&#8211; hayes.<\/p>\n<p>[ Coughing ] My&#8211; my son, hayes.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Where is he?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes, your son, hayes, is&#8211; is okay. Hayes is&#8211; is fine. I promise you that. And he&#8217;s healthy, and he&#8217;s strong. Hebaby, you just&#8212; did you hurt my wife? &#8211; Look, this isn&#8217;t my first rodeo,<\/p>\n<p>Jack: Some days, I, uh&#8230; I can&#8217;t even get out of bed. I just can&#8217;t accept that finn is gone.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8217;m so sorry, jack. I know li is grieving, too.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah. Um, have you been able to connect with her?<\/p>\n<p>Jack: Since I told her about my affair with sheila, she&#8217;s completely cut me out of her life. I&#8217;d like to visit my son&#8217;s final resting place. Do you know where it is?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Ah, I&#8211; I am sorry. I don&#8217;T. Um. The ambulance took finn to a different hospital, and li handled all of that. When we asked her for information, she wouldn&#8217;t give us any details. She wouldn&#8217;t talk about the memorial. She got very angry. I&#8211; come on, steffy deserves to know.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: I need to see li. And hear her voice. Grieve with her.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know. Losing a child is one of the most traumatic things a parent could ever experience. I&#8217;m sure li is just&#8211; drowning in grief.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: The past few months have been tough. Finn. Steffy. Being away from you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I never meant to betray you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: But it&#8211; it was a betrayal, it was. Everything with deacon, and&#8211; and the days leading up to it. Everything we lost and&#8211; I think back on that now, and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I never would have kissed deacon, if I was sober.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I know that. I&#8211; I know that. And I see you sitting here, I just want to help you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: You want to help me with my broken ankle? It&#8217;s really sweet.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I want to help you because you got hurt, and I wasn&#8217;t here.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke sighing ] What would you say if I told you that I want to come home?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ah, I would say those are the words that I&#8217;ve been waiting to hear for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I want to come home. If you&#8217;ll have me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Of course. Of course.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Is&#8230; steffy&#8230; okay?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8211; I told you. Steffy is fine. She and&#8211; and kelly and hayes, they&#8217;re away on vacation.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Wh&#8211; away?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Baby, I know. I know how difficult this is for you, how confusing it must be. And&#8211; I don&#8217;t want to say or do anything that&#8217;s going to hinder your recovery. But there is one more thing you need to know. Steffy thinks you&#8217;re dead. Everybody thinks you&#8217;re dead.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: What? No, no&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, no, no, no, no. Baby, you can&#8217;t get out of bed. You can&#8217;t&#8211; you injured your lumbar spine and you can&#8217;t get out of bed yet, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I need a hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, you can&#8217;t get out of bed, but you&#8217;re getting so much better now.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Now, shhh.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hospital. I need a&#8211; I need a&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m not&#8211; I can&#8217;t take you to the hospital. Things are just too complicated. Please don&#8217;t get upset. I am&#8211; I am here. I&#8217;m taking care of you. And you will see steffy again. I&#8211; I promise you that.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy? Need my wife.<\/p>\n<p>[ Heart rate monitor beeping ] Ready to shine from the inside out?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Tough seeing that.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Jack is devastated.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Poor guy. Trust me. Those doctors left you for dead. Your mother saved your life.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You? You&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Shelia: Yes. Yes, I&#8211; I saved you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Where&#8211; where&#8217;s mom? She&#8211; she&#8211; she&#8217;s a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m your mother, I&#8217;m your mother. You died, finn. You flatlined. But I never&#8211; I never gave up on you. Now, look at you. I just&#8211; this&#8211; this whole thing, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s just been very confusing. And it&#8217;s been a very stressful situation for me. But at the same time, look&#8211; it&#8217;s been a miracle. Look at you. Look at you, you&#8217;re alive. And&#8211; and you&#8217;re awake. You&#8217;ve got your whole life to live.
