I spent a lot of money on this stuff, and if we don\u2019t get people in there, well, you\u2019re not gonna have much of a staff left. Exactly. Inspirational. I like that. That was inspirational. I got to get back to you. Hey, Diane. You need a bell around your neck.<\/p>\n<p>[Clears throat] What can I help you with?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diane:<\/strong> Well, I\u2019m so glad you asked. In light of our recent truce, i thought it\u2019d be wonderful if i could go back to having full access of your top-of-the-line gym and spa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phyllis:<\/strong> Why? I hear that the athletic club has more than adequate equipment for, you know, the average guest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diane<\/strong>: [Sighs] We can be honest with each other, can\u2019t we, now that we\u2019re family? Your equipment is a cut above, and Astrid\u2019s massages have made a new woman out of me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phyllis:<\/strong> Um\u2026 I can\u2019t help you. I\u2019m really sorry. We have an agreement with the athletic club that they don\u2019t poach our clients, we don\u2019t poach theirs. Besides, we are all booked up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diane:<\/strong> Oh. Huh. Funny you should say that because I could have sworn i just heard you complaining that you were desperate for customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phyllis<\/strong>: I was not saying that, that I was a desperate for customers. I just \u2014 you misunderstood. Diane, we have the right to refuse service to anyone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diane:<\/strong> [Scoffs] You don\u2019t have any grounds to do that where I\u2019m concerned. I\u2019m wearing shoes, I\u2019m not drunk, and I\u2019m certainly not being disruptive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phyllis:<\/strong> Um, you were escorted off the premises before.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diane:<\/strong> Oh, but, Phyllis, that was back when we were bitter rivals. If that ban still holds, then that means our truce isn\u2019t really real. I would hate to think our d\u00e9tente was just on paper, and i know other people would be disappointed, too<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">*********************<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noah:<\/strong> How do you feel about surprises?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allie:<\/strong> In general, I hate them. They\u2019re very unpredictable.
