So I understand that you&#8217;re doing your best, but it&#8217;s just not good enough. All mama did was stop her abuser from hurting more people. He&#8211;he tried to kill my brother- in-law eli, and if you can&#8217;t find a way to free my mother, then I am going to find her a better lawyer. She&#8217;s a great person, and she doesn&#8217;t deserve this.<\/p>\n<p>[Cell phone beeps]<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: I guess you told him.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: [Sighs] Am I dreaming?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: [Laughs] No, baby, you&#8217;re not! I didn&#8217;t wanna worry you.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: I get more worried when I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on. Please, promise me you won&#8217;t keep things like that from me anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: I promise. Then I probably should tell you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Xander: Tell me what?<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: Um, I went to see gwen in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I just heard about abigail. That&#8217;s horrible news. My god.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: And you came all this way to offer your condolences?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: No. I came to ask you a question. Did you do it?<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Did I do what?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, come on, gwen. You know what I&#8217;m asking. Thanks to justin getting through to the judge.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Ooh, I guess maybe I should call him and give him an apology for that nasty voicemail that I left him.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Mm, well, I&#8217;m proud of you for standing up for your mama. But you don&#8217;t owe justin kiriakis anything.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: But he got you out of jail.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Mm-hmm, and you can save that apology for when I am permanently free.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Do you think they can send you back?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: I don&#8217;t know. Gwen rizczech knew that there was an antidote that could&#8217;ve cured me, but she was determined that I wouldn&#8217;t have it.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: True, but sarah, what was the point of the visit?<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: After everything that that woman put me through, it was very satisfying to see her behind bars where she&#8217;ll never hurt anyone again.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: So you came here to accuse me of murder?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Well, it&#8217;s not that far-fetched. Your resentment of your sister has been the driving force for most of your adult life.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Okay, I had motive, yes. But you are forgetting means and opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Yeah, I&#8217;m not so sure about the means, but you certainly had opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Really? Even though I was locked up here last night when the murder happened?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: [Laughs] Gwen, you and i both know that is not true.<\/p>\n<p>From prom dresses<\/p>\n<p>Eli: Baby, what&#8217;s wrong? Lani, what&#8217;s wrong? You&#8217;re shaking.<\/p>\n<p>Lani: It was ray. It was ray. He&#8211;he&#8211;he&#8211;he was here.<\/p>\n<p>Eli: What? No, lani&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Lani: No, no, no, it was like he was standing right where you are, eli. And he is right, because I pulled that trigger, eli.<\/p>\n<p>Eli: Keep your voice down!<\/p>\n<p>Lani: I don&#8217;t care. How am i supposed to live with myself, huh? What is my dad gonna think when&#8211;when he finds out what I did? And then when he knows that&#8211; that I&#8211;oh, my&#8211;that the woman that he loves is going to prison for me? Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Abe: It&#8217;s a terrible, terrible tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: It just doesn&#8217;t even seem real. That marvelous young mother with her whole life before her, and my heart&#8217;s breaking for the children, and for chad, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Mine too. Are, uh&#8230;are jack and jennifer around?<\/p>\n<p>Julie: Oh, they&#8217;re resting. Before they went upstairs, I heard jack saying he&#8217;s been to see gwen in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Yes, well, she is his daughter, and I&#8217;m sure she&#8217;s upset about abigail.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: Upset? Upset? Abraham, remember what she did to abigail, what she did to&#8211; to sarah too? She&#8217;s a despicable person. I wish&#8211; I really wish she would just disappear out of our lives forever.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: I have to admit I really enjoyed telling gwen that you and I are back together.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: Oh, thank god we are. Mmm. You know, darling, you and i have a lot of lost time to catch up on.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: [Giggles] Well, technically speaking.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: What do you mean?<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: I mean I was the one that was stranded on a desert island with kristen dimera. You, on the other hand, had a fianc\u00e9e and a lovely young wife.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: [Sighs] That must&#8217;ve been so awful, being in jail. It made me sick to think about you being in that cell, surrounded by criminals.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Your mother is a survivor, and I told you. I told you everything would be fine, and here I am.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Yeah, but you said it&#8217;s not over yet. You still have to go to trial.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: And I will win. We just to have a little faith.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Faith.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Mm-hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: [Sighs] So mr. Kiriakis, he&#8217;s confident that he&#8217;ll convince the jury that you&#8217;re innocent?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: I am confident enough for the both of us. Didn&#8217;t mean to eavesdrop.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: But you heard what I said to rafe?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I did. You&#8217;re calling off your wedding?<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Wh&#8211;what does that mean? Did you and rafe split up?<\/p>\n<p>Trelegy for copd.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: Abe, whoever did this to abigail deserves to be locked up&#8211;locked up for their rest of their lives. It&#8217;s not like paulina&#8217;s situation. I mean, that&#8217;s completely different. How&#8211;how is she doing? Do you have any idea?<\/p>\n<p>Abe: It is great news. She made bail.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: [Gasps] They let her out?<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Yes. I was in court with her this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: Oh, abe. Oh, that&#8217;s wonderful. What&#8217;s the latest on you, sweet girl?<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Me?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Mm-hmm. When you came to visit me in jail, you only wanted to talk about my situation. Well, now that the devil has gone from salem&#8211;thank the lord&#8211;I need to know where your head&#8217;s at.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: In regards to&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: In regards to you being in the middle of a love triangle with a couple of crazy twins.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Oh, that. Um, well, johnny and allie, they&#8217;re&#8211;they&#8217;re both still in love with me. Ugh, but does&#8211;does that sound egotistical or what?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Mm, not if it&#8217;s true. So what did you decide?<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: I haven&#8217;T. I just don&#8217;t want to hurt either one of them. But it&#8217;s not fair to leave them hanging either, is it?<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Oh, they&#8217;ll wait because they know what you&#8217;re worth. And, uh, maybe, you know, maybe you should just move on altogether. Try&#8211;try finding someone who doesn&#8217;t have a history of devil possession.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: You know what? I don&#8217;t wanna talk about me right now, kay? I know it&#8217;s out of character, but I just&#8211;I miss you, mama.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Aw&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: And I&#8217;m just&#8211; I&#8217;m so happy you&#8217;re home.<\/p>\n<p>[Both laugh]<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: Ooh.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: But I wish you would&#8217;ve told me. I would&#8217;ve planned a big homecoming celebration for you.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina: This&#8211;this is plenty, big sweetheart&#8211; just being here with my lovely daughter. And you know how long I&#8217;ve been dreaming of taking a bath in my own tub, sleeping in my own bed, eating at my own dinner table? I was just remarking that you were quite busy while I was &#8220;away,&#8221; getting engaged, getting married&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Xander: I told you the marriage to chanel was never real. I&#8211;she and I met right after I lost you. I was completely at sea. I was dead broke and dead drunk when I apparently agreed to marry her.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: So there was nothing romantic?<\/p>\n<p>Xander: Not in the slightest. She was after my nonexistent money, and I was after her mum&#8217;s actual money.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: Hmm. Did you sleep with her?<\/p>\n<p>Xander: Not even on our wedding night.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: It&#8217;s kind of hard to imagine you passing up sex.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: [Sighs] Well, I would never pass up the opportunity to have it with you.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: [Giggles] Mm, wait.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: What&#8217;s wrong?<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: Mm, my medicine. The sooner I take it, the less likely I am to have any more hallucinations. But I can&#8217;t take it on a empty stomach.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: All right, let&#8217;s get you something to eat. Yeah, I&#8217;ll accept the call. Hello?<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: It&#8217;s gwen. I need your help.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Ah, hey, gwen. How&#8217;s life on the inside?<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Do you remember when they first brought me into the station, and&#8211;and you offered to bust me out?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Yeah, I do, and i remember you turning me down.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Yes, well, I&#8217;m rethinking that decision.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, is that right?<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Yes. Does your offer still stand?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Am I misremembering, or did you not ask me to break you out of prison on the same day that your sister ended up dead?<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: [Sighs] Rafe and i are not splitting up.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: But you&#8217;re not getting married?<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: We&#8217;re not getting married this week. We&#8217;re just postponing the wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Oh. I must&#8217;ve misunderstood.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Rafe&#8217;s leading the investigation in abigail&#8217;s death, and we just didn&#8217;t feel like it was right.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s hard to imagine even celebrating right now. It&#8217;s hard to imagine she&#8217;s gone.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Abigail was such a good person, and after everything that she and chad went through to find happiness&#8230;oh, and those sweet babies&#8230;it breaks my heart to know that charlotte and thomas are gonna grow up without their mother.<\/p>\n<p>[Sobs]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: [Sobs]<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: Get off him, you conniving bitch!<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: What the hell&#8211;wha&#8211; hey! I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: Since sarah got a second dose of the drug that kristen injected her with, she&#8217;s been having these&#8230; residual hallucinations.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Must be terrifying.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: A couple days ago, I, um, I thought I saw kristen coming at me with a syringe, but it was just&#8211;it was just victor with a pen.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Please tell me you strangled the old goat. I&#8217;m sorry. A girl can dream.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: No, it&#8217;s okay. I&#8217;m the one who owes you an apology.<\/p>\n<p>Xander: It&#8217;s not your fault, sarah.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah: No, you&#8217;re right. It&#8217;s gwen&#8217;S.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen: Why are you being so hostile? Surely you must know some guard on the take&#8211;some desperate, stupid loser who&#8217;s gonna walk away and leave a gate unlocked or something. I figured, oh, maybe you wanted a few hours out in the real world to&#8211;I don&#8217;t know&#8211; take a shower? Have a nice meal? I didn&#8217;t really think about it. But now, it&#8217;s pretty obvious that you were planning to commit murder.<\/p>\n<p>[Cell phone rings]<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Oh, it&#8217;s chanel.<\/p>\n<p>Julie: Go ahead and take it. It might be about paulina.<\/p>\n<p>[Phone beeps]<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Hello, chanel?<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Abe, mama&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Oh, I know. That&#8217;s wonderful. How&#8217;s she doing?<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Great. But she&#8217;ll be even better if you came over. Are you sure she just doesn&#8217;t wanna rest?<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: When has mama ever rested?<\/p>\n<p>Abe: Excellent point.<\/p>\n<p>Chanel: Anyway, I am fixing a very special dinner and I hope you can come. No, no, no, scratch that. You are coming. Oh, lani is going to be so excited to see our mom.<\/p>\n<p>Lani: I can&#8217;t let paulina suffer for something that I did.<\/p>\n<p>Eli: You&#8217;re doing the right thing for us&#8211;for our family. Once you make peace with that, tr will stop haunting you.<\/p>\n<p>Lani: I can never make peace with this, eli.
