I&#8217;m not sure what I need, but&#8211; just having you here is enough, you know? Helping me navigate this grief. Gosh. Doesn&#8217;t feel real. I can&#8217;t believe this is happening. How am I supposed to move on? Raise a family, without finn?<\/p>\n<p>Li: I&#8217;m not letting you go, son. Not when there&#8217;s still a chance. And there is. There is.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I was&#8211; I was so proud of thomas. He was&#8211; he was&#8211; he was just getting so much better.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know, but, ridge, you can still be proud of him. He has come so far.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Has he? He lied to us again.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I know. And I&#8217;m not condoning him for covering up what happened to brooke, but he&#8211; he let his emotions get involved, and sheila manipulated him.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Sheila, right, so, he&#8211; he didn&#8217;t think that this would maybe affect somebody?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: We saw him struggling and we didn&#8217;t know why. He said he wanted to tell us. And then the shootings happened.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: That&#8217;s what he said, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I believe him.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Ah. Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay, we can disagree on that, but maybe we can agree on this. This doesn&#8217;t have to be public knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We&#8217;ll deal with thomas in private.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay. Brooke! How long have you been standing there?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: How long have I been standing here? Oh, about one or two seconds. Look if I&#8217;m interrupting&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Don&#8217;t be silly. Come on in.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Uh, uh. It&#8217;s good to see you here, taylor. You know, I&#8217;ve been thinking about you, and steffy and what you had to do to get sheila to confess. It&#8217;s quite unnerving.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It was. Very.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I still can&#8217;t believe she did it. Shot steffy. Killed finn.<\/p>\n<p>[ Kettle whistling ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I should be thanking you again.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What, uh, wh&#8211; what are we talking about?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: When you were here, when we told the kids about finn.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, well, are you kidding? I wouldn&#8217;t have been anywhere else. I wanted to be here to help you answer kelly&#8217;s questions. Or, I don&#8217;t know. I just figured if there was anything I could&#8211; hey, listen, hayes is going to have father figures. He&#8217;s going to have ridge in his life. He&#8217;s going to have thomas in his life. But he&#8217;s also kelly&#8217;s younger brother and&#8230; if you need me to play that role, I&#8211; I will step up.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Oh, also, um, hope wanted me to ask you if you, if you want any help planning a memorial service. I&#8211; I imagine you want one. So if you need us to make any phone calls.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I appreciate that. And I&#8217;m planning on doing it. I just, I want to think about finn&#8217;s mother. I want li to be involved.<\/p>\n<p>[ Machines beeping ]<\/p>\n<p>Li: We know now about who did this to you, so you don&#8217;t have to worry anymore. Sheila won&#8217;t ever hurt you again. That awful woman. Tried to call herself your mother. She could&#8217;ve killed you. I saved you, son. Did all I could to keep you here. It&#8217;s time to come back. It&#8217;s time to come back, finn. Please, come back.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ] Hi, I&#8217;m karen.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Is there anything steffy needs right now? Maybe I could take the kids. And I know that hope wants to help, too.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, I&#8211; I will let her know that you offered. I&#8211; I think that having kelly and hayes close by is good for steffy. It&#8217;s a much needed comfort.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, I&#8217;m sure that&#8217;s true. I just keep thinking about them, those poor kids. Hayes is never going to remember his daddy.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, but he&#8217;ll know about him. Know what he did, know he gave up his life to save steffy. He was a hero. We&#8217;ll make sure of it.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You hungry? I can make you a sandwich.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, I&#8217;m fine.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I&#8217;ll even put meat in it.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ] Okay.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking on door ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You&#8217;re expecting someone?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Chief baker.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Hi, liam. Um, may I?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Yes, of course. Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Hello, steffy. Uh, I hope I&#8217;m not intruding.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No. No. Is that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: Finn&#8217;s wallet, his ring, your rings, also your purse.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you. It&#8217;s a lot harder than I imagined.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ] His wallet. His rings. It&#8217;s just things. That&#8217;s what finn is now. He&#8217;s just&#8230; things.<\/p>\n<p>[ Machines beeping ]<\/p>\n<p>Li: They tried telling me you&#8217;re gone. Maybe, eventually I&#8217;ll have to admit that they were right. But not yet. And definitely not that night.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sirens blaring ]<\/p>\n<p>Man: Dr. Finnegan? Yes, the paramedics did manage to get a weak pulse in the ambulance. We see no brain activity, and we&#8217;ve done everything possible to save him. I&#8217;m afraid you know, as well as I do, there&#8217;s no chance to revive him.<\/p>\n<p>Li: They may have given up on you, but I didn&#8217;T. I knew you weren&#8217;t ready to go. I know you can hear me, finn. I know you&#8217;re just as determined as I am, for you to wake up. You&#8217;re a fighter. Keep fighting. My name is trisha.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay. Well, I&#8217;m going to take off and leave you two and go check on hope.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Brooke, I&#8211; i want to thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Me? Why?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Because it seems that your main concern is steffy and her kids, and sheila attacked you too. It was beyond cruel. It&#8217;s just a&#8211; a nasty thing to do to a recovering alcoholic. And as&#8211; as much as you seem to want to be here for steffy and the kids, I, I want to be here for you, too.<\/p>\n<p>Chief baker: I didn&#8217;t mean to upset you, bringing these over.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, it&#8217;s fine. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m glad you did.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I&#8217;ll um, I&#8217;ll walk you out.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Continues sobbing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, finn.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ] I, uh, I got him this wallet for his birthday.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sniffling ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You know, you should, uh, you should save this. You should keep it, for hayes, when he&#8217;s old enough. I have a few things left from my mom and,uh, it&#8217;s important. He&#8217;ll want it.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Gah. Gosh. Until death do us part. It wasn&#8217;t supposed to be this soon.<\/p>\n<p>Li: So glad I was there working that night. Twist of fate. The ambulance brought you to my hospital instead of steffy&#8217;s, with the doctor working on you, never believed you were going to pull through. So I smuggled you out of there. Signed the death certificates. No one caught on. So here you are. No one knows. They all think you&#8217;re gone. But you&#8217;re not. I won&#8217;t give up. (Dana)it&#8217;s very difficult for the family<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, I&#8217;m very happy that the two of you have found a way to put your differences behind you. For steffy&#8217;s sake, and for the kids. It&#8217;s what they need right now, right, for us to be united. To be a family. She just needs to know that she&#8217;s not alone.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I might save this for hayes too. No, I&#8217;ll probably keep it for myself.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: All right, good. Either way, finn lives on. In the people who love him.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy forrester, will you marry me?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yes!<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I give you this ring as a sign of my love and commitment to you.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: If you had told me then how little time we had?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: It&#8217;s not fair. You two deserved decades together.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I really can&#8217;t believe it. You can&#8217;T&#8230; we woke up that day, we had so many possibilities. Our whole life ahead of us. We were supposed to grow old together.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sniffling ] And now he&#8217;s gone.<\/p>\n<p>Li: Anyone else would have given up, not a mother. Not this mother. Do you know how proud I was when you graduated from medical school? When you got the er job? Knowing you had a bright future. How did it all go so wrong? We both know how. You got caught up in steffy&#8217;s world. The forresters, and all their baggage. That brought sheila, didn&#8217;t it? After all those years of raising you and loving you, your birth mother shows her face, demanding to be in your life? A life she tried to take. I could have lost you. But you&#8217;re safe now. You&#8217;re here, sweetheart. With your mother. I&#8217;ll always protect you. Whatever it takes. Whatever I have to do. Never give up on you, finn. Never.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Finn&#8217;s gone. He&#8217;s really gone. And I just have to find a way to accept it.
