Not a peep out of either one.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, I opened up a bottle of wine. Hi. Hey. What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I don&#8217;t know. It&#8217;s, you know, same thing. Steffy, her&#8211; her husband is dead. Finn&#8217;s never coming back, which means her life is never going to be the same, which means our life is never going to be the same.<\/p>\n<p>[ Knocking on door ] And I just keep thinking&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, gosh. I&#8217;m sorry to interrupt, but you won&#8217;t believe what happened?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay. Did&#8211; what&#8217;s going on? Is it something between you and ridge?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Kelly wanted some water.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Sorry, sweetie. What did you say?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Are you okay?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, yeah, I&#8217;m fine. Why?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: He&#8217;ll be here soon.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Who?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Dad, from seeing brooke. He&#8217;s telling her about sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah. That&#8217;s gotta be a big shock for brooke.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. I know.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It was. Where are my kids? In bed already?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, they are. I gave them a big kiss from their grandpa.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: So, you gonna tell us what happened with brooke?<\/p>\n<p>Donna: I don&#8217;t wanna<\/p>\n<p>put you on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Donna.<\/p>\n<p>Donna, what we share is<\/p>\n<p>exactly what I need.<\/p>\n<p>You bring a positivity<\/p>\n<p>to my life.<\/p>\n<p>You bring such light,<\/p>\n<p>it&#8217;s exactly what I need.<\/p>\n<p>[ Both laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>You make me laugh.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Well, there&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>nothing I enjoy more than<\/p>\n<p>putting a smile on<\/p>\n<p>this beautiful face.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Because you are<\/p>\n<p>and always will be<\/p>\n<p>the great love of my life.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Sweetheart, do you want to come up to bed? I can give you one of my famous back rubs and you&#8217;ll drift right off, or not.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Quinn, there&#8217;s something I want to tell you. Something I think you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I can&#8217;t believe it&#8217;s true. But I know it is because ridge told me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So, ridge was here?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes. He just left. It&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s a lot to process. It&#8217;s almost too much.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, so what exactly did ridge say?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Steffy finally remembered. She knows who shot her and finn.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, my god.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What? Is&#8211; is she&#8230; is she absolutely positive?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes. Plus, they confessed.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So, who? Who was it?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So, how&#8217;d it go with brooke?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Her mind was blown.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Learning sheila shot me and finn, you mean?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Just the idea that a mother would kill her own kid. It&#8217;s just not comprehensible.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She tried to claim it was an accident.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I don&#8217;t care what sheila claims. She took finn&#8217;s life. She took my husband away. She took him away from our son, our family. I&#8211; I&#8217;m gonna hate that woman for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We all will, but let&#8217;s not forget who finn was in all this. He was a hero. If he hadn&#8217;t been there, if he hadn&#8217;t taken that bullet, um&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So, did you tell brooke everything? About&#8230; sheila? What sheila did to brooke? She got her to drink that night?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Mm-hm. It&#8217;s hard to watch brooke realizing that sheila turned her whole life upside-down. You love rich, delicious ice cream.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It has to with my granddaughter.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Is steffy all right?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: She&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;S&#8230; she&#8217;s finally on the mend, thankfully. Uh&#8230; I spoke to ridge a while ago and he says that, uh, she&#8217;s regained her memory and she&#8217;S&#8230; she remembers what happened that night.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Quinn, it&#8211; it&#8230; it was sheila. Sheila&#8217;s responsible for the shootings.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Are you serious? I&#8211; I mean, no, I don&#8217;t know why I&#8217;d be shocked. I&#8211; I&#8217;m not&#8211; I&#8217;m not surprised at all. I&#8217;ve my own run-ins with that woman and&#8230; I mean, she&#8211; she definitely has a killer instinct, but&#8230; finn was her son. I mean, to put a bullet in your own child? I mean, that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s diabolical to a different level.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, well apparently finn stepped in front of the bullet that was meant&#8211; that was meant for his wife.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Wait. Sheila was trying to kill steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes! And she tried again after she shot finn. It&#8217;s just all so&#8230; it&#8217;s so horrible. And my heart just breaks for her. It just breaks for steffy. That she&#8217;D&#8230; that she&#8217;d lose the man she loved in such an awful way.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: So&#8211; so all that time that steffy was just laying there in the hospital bed and sheila&#8217;s with us, keeping vigil all misty eyed, she&#8211; she was the one who put steffy there in the first place?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: It&#8217;s frightening, right? To know that sheila was that close. And that she might have tried it again if given the chance.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam, what is it?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, my god.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: What?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Do you remember, there was a day that I went in to see steffy and sheila was in the room with her. Nobody else was and sheila was like futzing with steffy&#8217;s iv?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. Yeah. Which&#8211; it was weird, so I called her out on it and she&#8217;s like, &#8220;I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m a nurse and I&#8217;m steffy&#8217;s family.&#8221; And it was&#8211; it was total bs, but to think that if I hadn&#8217;t walked in there, right? That&#8211; what if steffy&#8217;s life was in danger in that very moment?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom, I know that sheila is in custody, but I mean, she always seems to be able to get away with everything and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Not this time, honey. She took finn&#8217;s life and she wanted to take steffy&#8217;S. She&#8217;s never gonna see the light of day. And there&#8217;s something else.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: What? Are there more victims?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: In a sense. Not as extreme.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Who?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Me.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: The reason I drank that night was because of sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Brooke&#8217;s been going through hell. She&#8217;s been beating herself up, wondering why she drank. Why she fell off the wagon. Thought she was weak, but she wasn&#8217;t weak. She was&#8230; being manipulated by this&#8211; this woman for revenge.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Sheila&#8217;s incapable of change. I can&#8217;t believe I didn&#8217;t see it.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mom, y&#8211; you can&#8217;t blame yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It&#8217;s not&#8211; it&#8217;s not blame, it&#8217;s regret. I wanted to believe so badly that sheila was going to change. That finn and hayes would be a catalyst for her to be a better person. After all the pain and&#8211; and&#8211; and heartache she&#8217;s caused so many people. Maybe she was ready, but I was so wrong. What she did to you and finn is awful. And to brooke. I feel for her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So do I. We all feel terrible about brooke. But please dad, don&#8217;t tell me things have changed between you and brooke and&#8230; you and mom. I assumed dust always stayed put.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Well, I&#8217;m sure steffy is relieved that sheila is behind bars. And ridge and taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Not to mention, brooke.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Brooke? Well, I know, she has a history with sheila as well, but&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Brooke has been in sheila&#8217;s crosshairs too. It goes back to the night that ridge wasn&#8217;t there and brooke fell off the wagon and she turned to deacon. That was all sheila&#8217;s doing.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: What? How?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m not sure. I don&#8217;t know all the details but, um, ridge tells me that sheila&#8217;s responsible for brooke drinking again. And then, she just sat back and watched brooke&#8217;s life fall apart completely with a smile on her face, no doubt.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So, all of these months that you&#8217;ve been blaming yourself and trying to figure out why you drank, sheila was behind all of it?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That woman is&#8230; she&#8217;s evil. There&#8217;s no other way to put it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well apparently, she was trying to get back at me because I vowed to keep her away from steffy and from all of us and she knew that ridge and I would team up against her.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: So, like what? She just targeted you in hopes of tearing you and ridge apart? What was the plan?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I don&#8217;t know. Honestly, I don&#8217;t know what was going on in her sick mind, but whatever it was, it certainly worked because my life and my marriage imploded.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, god. I hate that woman. I hate her. She has been torturing people for years and getting away with it. I mean&#8211; I mean, she jeopardizes your sobriety. She shoots steffy. She murders her own son. I mean, if there&#8217;s any justice in this world, they will lock her up for good.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I feel like she&#8217;ll be put away for good this time, honey.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, I mean, mom, think about it. She attacked you too. And I hope ridge realizes that. I mean, does he?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke. Yes. Yes. He was very caring and very supportive.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, that&#8217;s because he still loves you and he never stopped loving you throughout all of this and soon&#8211; okay, now that the truth is out, does that mean that ridge is finally coming home?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, steffy. Just d&#8211; don&#8217;t start with the pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m not. I&#8217;m just asking a question. All dad has to say is that nothing&#8217;s changed. You know, despite everything&#8217;s that going on, the closeness that you two have&#8230; I mean, it&#8217;s pretty obvious.<\/p>\n<p>[ Ridge sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Whatever this is, it&#8217;s not&#8230; it&#8217;s not going away. We&#8211; we&#8217;re your parents. We&#8217;re family.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s not just&#8211; no. It&#8217;s not us. I&#8217;m not talking about us as a family. I&#8217;m talking about the two of you. The love and connection you guys have, especially since you&#8217;ve stayed with me. It&#8217;s like you guys are starting to rediscover each other and it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s really nice to see.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, honey, I mean, it&#8217;s been amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, it has. And you deserve it. Especially now in your lives. Like yeah, you&#8217;ve had some ups and downs, but honestly, I feel as though you two are the happiest when you&#8217;re sharing your lives together. I think you know that too. I just want to hear you say it. I want to hear that this time with mom isn&#8217;t just gonna be suddenly erased because of what sheila did to brooke. Ever leave your clothes in the dryer<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I still have a lot of questions, but I&#8230; I didn&#8217;t want to press ridge on them. He&#8217;s exhausted.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh, I&#8217;m sure. Well, at least it&#8217;s over and sheila will never be a problem again.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. Ridge asked if he could stay here for a while. I said yes.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh, okay. Well&#8230; does that mean that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m not sure what it means. I do know that he has a lot of thinking to do.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Ah. Where brooke and taylor are concerned.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. And he and taylor have reconnected in a&#8211; in a wonderful, familiar way and I&#8217;m very happy for that. I&#8217;m delighted for that. But I&#8230; I&#8217;m convinced that he and brooke belong together.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Well, I guess the real question is if sheila is responsible for getting brooke to drink again, then&#8230; what&#8217;s going to happen between ridge and brooke now?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: So, what did ridge say? Is he coming back?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, he said a lot of things. Said a lot of beautiful, caring things.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, so is this your way of telling us that you two are officially back together?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: We may be getting ahead of ourselves here.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: For the record, ridge and I do love each other very much and that is never going to change. But, he&#8217;s not coming back to me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: No, I&#8211; I was disappointed myself, but the good thing is he&#8217;s moving out of steffy&#8217;s and he&#8217;s going to be living at eric&#8217;S. He just needs time to think. So, I have faith. I have faith that we will end up together and that he will choose a life with me and not a life with taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What sheila did to not only finn and me, but to brooke, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s awful. I&#8217;m not trying to dispute that. But she was the one who turned to deacon. She kissed him. Deacon stayed in your bed. Yeah, sheila got alcohol into brooke&#8217;s system, but she chose to betray you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Honey, your father already knows that. He doesn&#8217;t need to be reminded.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s okay. It&#8217;s okay. I get it. I know what you&#8217;re getting at. You want some answers and I know you want to. But, it&#8217;s&#8211; look&#8211; it&#8217;s been&#8211; it&#8217;s been great being here with you guys, with the&#8211; these amazing grandkids, but I just need some space. So, I talked to dad, and I&#8217;m going to live with him for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What? No, dad. You&#8217;ve been so happy here with mom.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8217;ve been happy with him here too, but honey, I agree with your dad. I think it&#8217;s really smart for him to take this time and have some space, especially after everything that&#8217;s happened. There&#8217;s&#8211; there&#8217;s so much. Losing finn, almost losing you. And now your dad needs to process what happened to brooke. She suffered as well.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Again, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry about that, but&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Honey, there&#8217;s nothing to be sorry about. [ Taylor sighing ] Whatever happens&#8230; the time that we have spent together has been&#8230; god, it&#8217;s been a beautiful reminder of who we are together. And I like us&#8230; a lot. You&#8217;re my best friend. And you know I love you. And I&#8217;ll always love you. No matter what.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Come here. Come on.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I am not going to let myself believe anything else.
