You killed him! You just admitted it.

Sheila: It was an accident. I would never purposely hurt my son. He just… he jumped in front of a bullet.

Steffy: A bullet meant for me.

Sheila: That’s because you wouldn’t let me take my rightful place in finn’s life as his mother, and hayes’ grandmother. I may have pulled the trigger that horrible night, but finn’s blood is on your hands, steffy. So why don’t you come down off of that high horse of yours? He’d still be alive today, if it weren’t for you.

Brooke: So sheila has basically lost her mind, that is what you’re telling me.

Deacon: That is not at all what I said.

Hope: It kind of, sort of, is.

Brooke: If she thinks she’s gonna be welcomed into steffy and taylor’s family–

Hope: I doubt that’s what’s actually happening.

Deacon: Look, I get that this sounds far-fetched, but remember, I mean it was taylor that reached out and called sheila, invited her over to steffy’S. Taylor is the peacemaker in the family. Who knows? Maybe today marks the start of a whole new beginning for sheila.

Hope: Uhh, I know you, dad. And I feel like there’s something more to this story. Like you’re holding something back.

Deacon: All right look, I completely get why you would be skeptical about taylor summoning sheila for something good. But, the fact of the matter is, that the two of them did form a bond.

[ Laughing ]

Brooke: What? Well, that is– that’s ridiculous.

Deacon: No, it’s true. They– they shared a life altering experience.

Hope: Uh, what? Like what?

Deacon: Like sheila… saving taylor’s life.

Taylor: How dare you blame steffy for the mayhem you caused? Steffy didn’t kill finn. That was you.

Ridge: You put a bullet into your own kid. Took him away from his wife and his son.

Sheila: I lost finn too.

Taylor: I felt so bad for you. Despite everything, despite our past. My family’s warnings, I– I gave you a chance.

Sheila: You know what that meant to me.

Taylor: I gave you an opportunity, sheila. I gave you an opportunity to prove that you were capable of– of change. Of love. Of– of having a place in this family.

Sheila: And I am. Just look at what happened. I saved your life. And you were grateful to me.

Taylor: But the whole time, you knew! You knew, sheila! That my daughter was unconscious and fighting for her life, because you shot her. You never changed. You’re still the same heartless bitch you’ve always been. Want your clothes to smell freshly

Hope: Sheila goes up to the hospital roof, fully intending to jump, and… ends up saving taylor’s life?

Deacon: I know.

Brooke: Must’ve been terrifying for taylor. To find herself dangling off the side of a building. Her life in sheila’s hands.

Deacon: Sheila rose to the occasion.

Brooke: I feel it’s hard to believe that she actually saved a life. The more likely scenario would be, she would take one.

Ridge: And here I thought i knew what you were capable of. Shooting my mother. Shooting taylor. Who knows who else, but… to shoot your own son in cold blood?

Sheila: Don’t say that, because it wasn’t like that.

Ridge: How was it not like that? You took your gun you shot him, he’s dead.

Sheila: I didn’t mean–

Ridge: Oh you didn’t me– I’m sorry. You didn’t mean to? That’s how you justify it? You were trying to kill somebody else? What the hell is wrong with you?

Sheila: None of this would have happened if only steffy would have given me a chance to prove myself.

Steffy: I did. In the alley. And you showed me exactly who you are. You’re a psycho.

Sheila: No. That night is– it’s hazy for me and it all happened so fast. And suddenly finn showed up, where he shouldn’t have been. I pulled that trigger and it was… too late. I– I couldn’t think.

Ridge: You couldn’t think? Well, you could think a little bit, right? You took their money. You– you took their rings. You made it look like a robbery. You thought a little about it.

Steffy: And the cops bought it.

Sheila: You act like it planned this out. But I didn’T. I just reacted. I’m not proud of what I– but–but in the moment it–

Ridge: What moment? Which moment? The moment you killed your son, or the moment you– you shot my daughter? And you left her to die in the street, to go about your life?

Taylor: And then showing up at the hospital with your fake grief and–

Sheila: No, it wasn’t fake. You– you, of all people. You– you know how terrible I felt.

Taylor: You felt terrible, because you murdered your own son. You lied to everyone. And you played me for a fool.

Sheila: No. No, I didn’T.

Taylor: Oh, poor, poor misunderstood sheila. The bereaved mother. The loving grandmother who just wanted a place in hayes’s life. Knowing that you’re responsible. You are responsible for that little boy being fatherless, for my daughter being on death’s door. My god, sheila. How do you even look at yourself?

Ridge: You are sick.

Sheila: That’s what you think, I’m sick? Because I wanted a place in hayes’ and finn’s life. Because I wanted to see brooke finally lose to taylor. You’d be with the woman that you were always meant to be with.

Taylor: Brooke?

Steffy: What does she have to do with this?

Sheila: Brooke took ridge away from the two of you. I was just trying to right a wrong. You have no idea how far above and beyond I have already gone for you.

Steffy: No one knows what you’re talking about.

Sheila: You do.

Steffy: Me?

Sheila: Yes. Go on. Tell them. About new year’s eve. What I put on the line for taylor and ridge.

Ridge: What are you– what? What are you talking about now? New year’s eve. What is it? Answer me. Family is just very important.

Brooke: Explain something to me, deacon. What, exactly, is your relationship with sheila?

Hope: I– I actually would like to know the answer to that, too.

Deacon: You know, if I didn’t know better, I’d say your mother is jealous.

[ Laughing ]

Brooke: I am serious. Why do you keep defending her when you know what a terrible person she is?

Deacon: I don’t know. People say the same thing about me. I think the two of you would counter that I’m not so bad. Am I flawed? Yes. Have I made terrible mistakes–

Hope: Well not like sheila–

Brooke: Exactly. That’s right.

Deacon: Sheila lost her son in a cruel and unexpected way. Hayes lost his father. Steffy lost her husband. Don’t you guys see that for once, sheila, she’s got something in common with the family. Their grief and mourning over a man that everybody loved. What better tribute to finn than giving his mother a chance to be a part of the family that he left behind?

Brooke: As a mother, I do feel bad for sheila.

Deacon: Maybe you could just extend some of that sympathy. Eh– sometimes it just takes one person reaching out.

Brooke: Well it can’t be me. It can’T. Ah, even if I wanted to. Ridge would never allow sheila into their lives.

Ridge: There’s more? What, killing your son and shooting my daughter not enough for you–

Sheila: Stop saying I killed my son. I loved finn more than anything in this world, and I never meant for that to happen.

Steffy: You looked me in the eye and you pulled the trigger. You left me to die.

Sheila: I didn’t want to hurt you though, steffy. You gave me no choice.

Ridge: No choice, what do you mean, no choice? The gun shot itself? Is that–

Taylor: I can’t believe it was you all along. Our daughter almost died.

Sheila: This wasn’t supposed to have– I was on your side. Can’t you see that? That’s what new year’s eve was about. I did this… for you. Because… I love you. I love you all.

Steffy: You’re insane. My son and your daughter, they created a beautiful life together. And I just wanted to be a part of that. Is that so wrong? I just– I kept getting doors slammed in my face. Brooke, of– of course, but what– what hurt the most… was you, steffy.

Steffy: This chance at

a relationship with finn?

With hayes?

It’s over.

It is never going to happen.

Now that I have proof

that you’re still the

same manipulative sociopath

you have always been.

Sheila: No, you called me… dangerous and– and demented. You said I would never have a place in my son’s life. How was I supposed to react? Even as cruel and heartless as you were to me, I still would have forgiven you. I just wanted a little compassion and understanding. No, you wouldn’t give, not– not even an inch. You chose to defend brooke, over me, the woman that wrecked your family.

Taylor: Why do you keep bringing up brooke?

Sheila: Go on, tell them. Tell them why we were arguing that night.

Steffy: I overheard thomas

talking to you on the phone.

Talking about he

couldn’t take it.

The little secret

he was keeping?

How you switched the labels

on brooke’s bottle.

She thought she was drinking

non-alcoholic champagne.

But you made sure it

was the real stuff.

No wonder she turned to vodka.

She was drunk. Because of you.

[ Gasping ]

Taylor: What is it?

Steffy: This whole time. This whole time, brooke was saying how it doesn’t make sense that she would just start drinking out of nowhere, but it– it does make sense. It makes perfect sense. You sabotaged an alcoholic. You set up brooke to drink on new year’s eve. Be ready for whatever life throws your way.

Brooke: Ridge hates sheila. And how could he not? After everything she’s done to people that he loves?

Deacon: I’m not defending any of that. Look, the forresters have every single reason to despise sheila, and ridge more than anyone.

Brooke: Ridge is not going to let sheila con her way into steffy’s life, by way of hayes.

Deacon: I think maybe I’m the one who’s jealous.

Brooke: Why?

Deacon: Ridge’s a lucky guy. The way you defend him, no matter what, the way you just show him unwavering support, even though he’s staying in the same house as taylor. It’S…

Hope: Ah, not technically.

Deacon: Guesthouse. Still too close for comfort. Whatever.

Brooke: Ridge is staying at steffy’s house because of me. Because of something I did. Betrayed his trust, with you.

Deacon: I know, and I’m sorry.

Brooke: I’m not blaming you. It was my fault. And after all this time, I still don’t know what it was that possessed me to drink.

Ridge: Hang on– hang on a second. How does anyone, especially sheila, make brooke drink? How does that happen?

Steffy: Details are still kind of fuzzy, but something about switching the champagne bottles.

Ridge: Is that what you did? You took her non-alcoholic champagne and exchanged it for the real thing? Is that it?

Sheila: I switched the labels. She didn’t have a clue.

Ridge: So you made an alcoholic drink?

Sheila: I did it for your family.

Steffy: Oh god, you really are delusional.

Sheila: No. You and brooke threatened me. You said that I would never have anything to do with my son or my grandson. You. You, I had to deal with. You’re finn’s wife, hayes’ mother. But brooke? How dare she? Judging me as if she’s never done anything wrong? Well, I found that insulting. And quite frankly, none of her damn business.

Ridge: You made my wife drink? Everything that happened after that’s because of you.

Sheila: No. I wanted to give back to you and taylor what was taken from you. Give back what brooke stole. An opportunity for you to be back together again. I got her to drink. But everything that happened after that with deacon? That was just all brooke. I was trying to help you. That was my motivation. If you don’t believe that, just– just ask thomas.

Ridge: Thomas?

Sheila: He knows what happened new year’s eve.

Taylor: He would never keep what you did to brooke from us.

Sheila: I know that he would. He did, because he saw what i did was bringing his parents back together again. You don’t– you don’t believe me, just– just call him.

Steffy: She’s right.

Taylor: What?

Steffy: I heard thomas on the phone with sheila. He knew what she did to brooke.

Sheila: Thank you.

Taylor: Oh, thomas.

Ridge: I’m gonna deal with thomas later. What– how do you– what kind of– what kind of a person are you? Playing with people’s lives. What is wrong with you? Brooke, ever since that night, she’s been trying to figure out what happened. Why she did what she did. You know what she came up with? “I guess… I guess I’m just a horrible person.” But it’s not her at all, is it? It’s you. It’s always been you. You don’t deserve to live. You don’T. No one can forgive you, ever. What you did to brooke. Steffy. Hayes. Finn. They just need to lock you up. And I promise you… every chance I get, I will make you suffer.

Steffy: You set brooke up. You shot me. You left me to die. You killed your own son. There is a special place in hell for you. And that’s exactly where you’re going. After you spend your miserable life behind bars. You tormented my family for far too long. Your reign of terror is over. It ends today.

Back to the B&B Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Bold & The Beautiful Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne Ridge: Just when I think you can’t sink any lower.
