She shot me, and she killed finn.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Something&#8217;s off with you, sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: The way you&#8217;re acting, saying all these crazy things?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m not.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You said that finn would still be alive, if it weren&#8217;t for steffy. What the hell&#8217;s that supposed to mean?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: What&#8217;s with paris and all her questions?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: She wanted to know if I was still hung up on you or not.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: And? Um, you made it clear that there&#8217;s nothing going on between us, right?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yes, that&#8217;s what I told her.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Good, because I don&#8217;t need her walking around here, stirring up a bunch of trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: She seemed to pick up on a vibe. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m as good at hiding my feelings as I thought.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>Donna: What are you thinking about? Hm?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m just, uh&#8230; just enjoying the quiet.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Ah. I know, it&#8217;s nice, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Mm hm.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: There&#8217;s no drama. No one here to bother us. Hm?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna tsk-ing ]<\/p>\n<p>Donna: But I think I know you too well, eric. You&#8217;re thinking about quinn, aren&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Look, I realize nothing can happen between us.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No, no. We&#8217;ve been down that road before. I almost lost my husband, and my marriage!<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And I almost lost my friendship with eric and ridge, not to mention my position at forrester.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Right, exactly. We&#8211; there is too much at stake for us to lose&#8211; eh. Carter, it&#8217;s not like I&#8217;m not always going to care about you, or even be attracted to every single thing about you, but, I love my husband. We&#8217;re committed to each other. And nothing is ever going to change that.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You got me. You&#8217;re right. I was thinking about quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Mm hm.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Oh. No, no, no need to apologize to me. I&#8211; I was just thinking about brad pitt, actually. Yeah. Yeah. So I guess that makes us about even so, you know&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Brad pitt.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Mm hm.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, I&#8217;ll admit that he&#8217;s&#8211; he&#8217;s a pretty handsome fellow, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, I mean, he&#8217;s always been my fantasy hall pass.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Ahuh.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: And I guess, I&#8217;m yours. But we&#8217;ll keep it our little secret. Okay?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Okay. I can&#8217;t help feeling a little guilty, where quinn is concerned. But, I appreciate you so much. You always manage to bring a smile to my face.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: How could steffy be responsible? It&#8211; that doesn&#8217;t even make sense.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: She&#8217;s always causing trouble, deacon. She doesn&#8217;t know when to keep her mouth shut.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: So you think it&#8217;s her fault that&#8211; that finn was murdered?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I think if she&#8217;d handled things differently, finn would still be here.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: How could you even know that?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I just do.<\/p>\n<p>[ Scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You know, sheila, uh the way&#8211; the way you&#8217;re talking, it&#8217;s almost as if you were there that night.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It was sheila. It was sheila!<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay, okay, so&#8211; so sheila killed her own son, and then she shot you?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mom! Mom, mom, mom, I&#8217;m telling you the truth. I am telling you the truth. I&#8211; I know I couldn&#8217;t remember things for a while, but it is so&#8211; it is so, so clear to me now. The shooter, the person that we&#8217;ve been looking for, has been, she&#8217;s been here the entire time.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s her? There&#8217;s no doubt in your mind?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8211; I&#8217;ve never been more certain about anything in my life. She did it. It was sheila. She pulled the trigger and&#8211; and finn saved my life. He jumped in front of the bullet. And she took him away from us. I am going to make her pay for what she&#8217;s done! What&#8217;s the #1 retinol brand<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You know you&#8217;ve grown a lot, quinn. I admire the work you put into bettering yourself and your relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I think eric deserves a lot of that credit, you know, for not giving up on us. On me? I&#8217;m not saying things are the way they used to be between us, because they certainly aren&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It may take some time.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I just have to own what I did. You know, I broke eric&#8217;s trust. Something he would never do to me.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: The last thing I ever want to do is complicate your life.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, my emotions are pretty complicated these days, and that&#8217;s one of the things that I appreciate so much about you is how uncomplicated you are. Being here with you, doing this, is effortless.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Well, that&#8217;s what I want to be for you. I want to make your life easy and&#8230; happy.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: And that&#8217;s what this is. That&#8217;s what you do for me. You make me so happy.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I get that you&#8217;ve suffered a huge loss, but so has steffy. The cops, they think this was some kind of robbery gone bad. If they were getting jumped, how could steffy have stopped it?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Because she never&#8230; listens. She only considers herself. She never was worried about finn or anyone else. She was only thinking about herself.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: What, you think she mouthed off to the shooter?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh, she mouthed off, I&#8217;m sure of it.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I never really thought about that. You know, whether or not they complied with the shooter&#8217;s demands, did what he said. Does it&#8211; does it really matter now?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m sure the person that was holding that gun&#8211; that it was never their plan to shoot two people.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila, you have to realize that there&#8217;s the possibility we might never know what happened. The cops, they don&#8217;t seem to have any leads. It&#8217;s weird, though, the way things went down, it&#8211; it just didn&#8217;t have to end that tragically.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, it didn&#8217;T. I should have been there, to protect finn, instead of him getting shot.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Don&#8217;t beat yourself up over this. You&#8217;re not responsible for what happened to finn.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Sheila. She murdered her own son.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Of course she did.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: My god.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Her own flesh and blood.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: How could she do this?<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She looked at me, and then she&#8211; she shot me, as her son lay dead in the alley.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Because she&#8217;s sick, she&#8217;s a psychopath.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8211; I let her into our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Don&#8217;t do that. You tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I don&#8217;t&#8211; I don&#8217;t get it. I don&#8217;t get it like, she wanted&#8211; she wanted a relationship with hayes and finn.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I welcomed her into this home. I&#8211; I&#8230; I believed that she was changing.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mom! Mom, please do not do this. She had finn fooled too.<\/p>\n<p>[ Taylor gasping ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I should have seen it. I should have seen it. How could I not see this? This is&#8211; this is why. This is why she was blaming herself. Because&#8211; she&#8217;s the reason that finn is dead.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Finn is the reason I&#8217;m alive, mom. He jumped in front of me, just as she was pulling the trigger. He took the bullet. I&#8217;m alive because of finn.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s easier than ever to get<\/p>\n<p>your projects done right .<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You&#8217;re lucky to be married to eric, but he is really lucky to have you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Sometimes I question that last part.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: What? Quinn, I can list at least 50 reasons why any man would be grateful to have you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Just 50?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: A 100.<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn tch-ing ] A thousand, millions.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Okay, all right, that&#8217;s a lot better.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Look, I want your marriage to succeed, because I know how much you want it to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I really do.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I know. And I want you to be happy.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: That&#8217;s all I want for you.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: No, no. No, no. We&#8217;re not talking about me. We&#8217;re talking about you, and how you could strengthen your marriage. Is there anything else you can do on your end?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I don&#8217;t know. I feel like I&#8217;ve been trying to do everything, you know? I&#8217;m trying to be softer and&#8211; and more present, more vulnerable. I&#8217;m trying to be the woman that eric fell in love with. Only better.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And you&#8217;re still sensing some distance from him?<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I know, he&#8217;s busy with work and his&#8230; newfound love of pickleball. I don&#8217;t know. I mean, I know he&#8217;s still in the process of&#8211; of forgiving me, I just&#8211; I can&#8217;t wait for us to be close again.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Then, talk to him. What&#8217;s the worst that can happen, right? Reach out to eric. Show him how much you care.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Losing your kid is&#8211; it&#8217;s hard enough. But convincing yourself that you were to blame, that&#8217;s next level torture.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah, well, it&#8217;s the deepest, darkest feeling in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Stop it. Finn would not want you punishing yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I am not so sure about that.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Come on, he would want you to keep living, to keep going on. It&#8217;s not like you&#8217;re going to forget him.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Finn is all I think about. Every day. Every night. And the manner in which he passed, it didn&#8217;t have to be this way. If finn hadn&#8217;t shown up in that alley, if&#8211; if steffy hadn&#8217;t given him a reason to worry&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: If, if&#8211; sheila! There are so many things in this world that we don&#8217;t control. Your issues with steffy did not cause this.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I wish that were the case, but&#8211; I&#8217;m always going to feel responsible. I think that&#8217;s why it&#8217;s just best if I&#8211; if I leave L.A., I&#8211; I don&#8217;t come back.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Sheila wanted me dead. But finn stopped her. He died for me.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m gonna kill this woman.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I&#8217;m gonna call the police. We&#8217;re going to go&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, no, no, no. You have to wait. Wait.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: What, why?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Invite her over here.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I want to see her face when she&#8217;s busted. I want to look her right in the eye, and watch her squirm.<\/p>\n<p>Jaycee tried gain flings<\/p>\n<p>for the first time<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna moaning ]<\/p>\n<p>Donna: I don&#8217;t want to see my honey bear furrowing his brow like that. Your happiness matters, eric. Us being here, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s cozy. It&#8217;s familiar. It&#8217;s beautiful. Okay? Don&#8217;t let this eat away at your conscience.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Na uh. I don&#8217;t regret any of this. Being here with you like this, is the best thing that&#8217;s happened in my life for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Yeah, but you&#8217;re&#8230; feeling bad that you&#8217;re being unfaithful.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m feeling grateful. Grateful that&#8230; I have you with me to make me laugh. You make me laugh till I cry.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna chuckling ] Your affection. It means so much to me. You&#8217;re not too bad to look at, either.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: Really? Huh.<\/p>\n<p>[ Donna laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You see how happy you make me?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: You know what, carter, you&#8217;re right.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, yeah. I am going to take your advice, and I&#8217;m going to call eric right now.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Okay, well, I&#8217;ll give you some privacy.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s quinn. Quinn?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric?<\/p>\n<p>Eric, where are you?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You want sheila to come here, to the house?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: No, sheila&#8217;s too dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I agree with your mom, let&#8217;s call the police, have her arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She will be. Will make sure of it. I just&#8211; I need to see her first.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Sweetheart, I understand why you think you need to see her, but&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mom, please, just&#8211; just call her.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: And say what?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What does sheila want more than anything? To be part of hayes&#8217; life, our family&#8217;s life. She&#8217;s desperate to be accepted. So we reach out to her, and we offer everything she&#8217;s ever wanted. And that&#8217;s when we call her out before she&#8217;s hauled off to prison for the rest of her miserable life.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a good idea.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Dad, please, I need this. I lost my husband. Hayes lost his father. I need to feel like I&#8217;m like I&#8217;m&#8211; like I&#8217;m avenging finn&#8217;s death, somehow.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: What if she has a weapon?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, she&#8217;s not&#8211; she&#8217;s not gonna bring a weapon in, if she knows hayes is here.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Okay, I&#8217;ll call her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Call ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: It&#8217;s taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Pick it up. What are you waiting for?<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Hello, taylor.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Sheila. I&#8217;m glad I caught you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;m really sorry. I didn&#8217;t mean to upset steffy, earlier at the house.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She&#8217;s just trying to come to terms with&#8211; with everything that happened. Everything that happened with finn, the&#8211; the whole tragedy. Look, I&#8211; I know that you&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re dealing with an&#8211; an enormous amount of pain and loss as well. And&#8211; and you&#8217;re missing hayes very much.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Of course.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: He&#8217;s your&#8211; he&#8217;s your grandson. He&#8217;s the only part of finn that you have left. So I was thinking it would be a good idea if you&#8211; if you came back over to see him.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Wait. What? You&#8211; you mean that? I&#8211; I would love to.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Good. Good. I really want you to be here, sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You do?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yes. I do, very much. I just want to see you get what you deserve. Finn would want this. We have to honor his memory.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You mean that?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: More than you&#8217;ll ever know.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You&#8211; you have no idea what this means to me.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I think I do.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8217;ll head right over<\/p>\n<p>[ Sheila laughing ] It&#8217;s unbelievable! That was&#8211; that was taylor, and&#8211; and&#8211; it looks like I might have an opportunity to play a role in my grandson&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: That&#8217;s awesome. I&#8217;m happy for you. Looks like you might not be leaving L.A. My kids still have a mother. Because of my husband&#8217;s bravery, the sacrifice he made for all of us. I have to do this. I have to face his mother, his murderer. Sheila carter has terrorized her family for far too long.
