The babies were very happy to have their mama home.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Aw, I&#8217;m sure steffy felt the same way.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Although, it must have been bittersweet, given what happened to finn, knowing that their family isn&#8217;t going to be whole again, not the way it used to be.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s just such a senseless tragedy, some random back alley robbery gone wrong. I just&#8211; I just hope they find that scumbag that did it.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Steffy still can&#8217;t remember who shot her and finn?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, but it&#8217;s just a matter of time.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Ugh.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone chiming ] Unless the memory is so traumatic that she never regains it, you know? And in which case&#8211; eric? Hey. Hi. Thought I lost you. Where&#8217;d you go?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Eric, I have these contracts&#8211; I can come back.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam, it&#8217;s me again. Uh, officially starting to get worried now. So, can you please get back to me? Thanks. Bye. Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hope? What is it? What&#8217;s going on, honey?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I don&#8217;t know a where he is. Liam never came home last night. He didn&#8217;t come home.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: [ Exhaling ] Oh! Oh no, no&#8230; hope.<\/p>\n<p>[ Liam sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She has always been a daddy&#8217;s girl.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: When did she come out?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Right after you went to bed.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you for staying the night. It meant a lot to the kids. Their mom, too.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Carter, it&#8217;s all right, come on in. Come on in. We&#8217;re just talking about steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yes. She was released from the hospital last night.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, she&#8217;s doing much better.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Thank god. A long road ahead, though.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, dealing with the loss of finn.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, it won&#8217;t be easy. I mean, what they shared was intense and passionate.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;ll definitely take time. It will. But she has her children. She has her family.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And a loving grandfather who will be there for her whenever she needs.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: That&#8217;s right. And apparently liam, he&#8217;s stepped up too, I&#8217;m told.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It&#8217;s no surprise there. It&#8217;s no secret how much liam still loves and cares for steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Wait a minute. You&#8217;re telling me you haven&#8217;t seen or heard from liam since he went to steffy&#8217;s last night?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah. Yeah, I obviously waited up for him, fell asleep on the couch, woke up this morning, and he still was not here.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey. Uh, just thought I&#8217;d stop by and see if douglas is back from his sleepover yet.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: He is not.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Ah. Well, obviously my timing sucks. So, heh, I&#8217;ll just go.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hey, uh, just fyi in case you were wondering, um. Liam never made it back last night, so.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Wait. Seriously? Liam stayed the night at steffy&#8217;s?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I gotta charge my phone. I fell asleep last night before I could text hope. But she&#8217;s so peaceful, I don&#8217;t want to wake her up.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hayes is too, I just checked on him. He&#8217;s still in dream land.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: How about you? How did you&#8211; you okay? D&#8217;you sleep okay?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I mean, I&#8217;m just glad to be out of the hospital, not attached to all the tubes and machines.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. I don&#8217;t blame you. Just &#8217;cause you&#8217;re out of the hospital doesn&#8217;t mean you should not be taking it easy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: All right.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Bridget already laid down the law. I&#8217;ll be good.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Good. Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: Daddy, you&#8217;re still here.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I am. Of course I&#8217;m here. I&#8217;m always gonna be here for you, and your mommy.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ] I&#8217;m amber, I&#8217;ve lost 128 pounds with golo,<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Do kelly and hayes know about finn yet?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: As of last night, no, not yet. But, uh, steffy&#8217;s not going to be able to put it off for much longer.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, hayes is still so young, I doubt he&#8217;d understand. But kelly might.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, luckily, her father is around there. I mean, liam&#8211; liam will be a great help in all this.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: To steffy too, I imagine.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone chiming ] All right, I have to go.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh. A&#8211; a meeting?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, uh, pickleball.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh. Oh, well, I&#8217;m so happy you&#8217;re staying so active, honey.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Eric, I thought we were gonna go over these contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Oh, we&#8217;ll do that later.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh, but maybe after your game, we could grab some lunch?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, we&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh&#8230; &#8216;kay.<\/p>\n<p>[ Eric closing door ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I don&#8217;t mean to pry, but is everything all right between you and eric?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: You know what, I&#8211; I guess I shouldn&#8217;t be surprised that liam stayed the night at steffy&#8217;S.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, he&#8217;s probably just trying to be nice. Didn&#8217;t want steffy to feel alone, even though she&#8217;s not alone. I mean, she does have her mother and father there.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I&#8211; don&#8217;t disagree, but&#8230; you know what? Not going to get in the middle of this. You will talk to your husband when he gets home.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Look, why don&#8217;t you just give him another call?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, and get his voicemail again?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: She has a point.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke:: Oh, thomas, please. You&#8217;re not helping.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Fine. I won&#8217;t say anything else. Except that&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: We all know how liam feels about steffy, okay? Like, yes, of course, he&#8211; he&#8217;s married to hope. And of course he&#8211; he has a family with her. And he loves her. But he also loves steffy. Look, this is just liam. This is&#8211; this is how it is. It&#8217;s who liam is, when it comes to steffy.<\/p>\n<p>[ Brooke chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What are you, a broken record?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: It&#8217;s the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: All right. Plug this in. That should turn on in a minute. Chooga, chooga, chooga, chooga&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, look at that piggyback ride.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: You&#8217;re next, mommy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I am.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I think mommy&#8217;s going to give you the best piggyback ride&#8211; actually no, you&#8230; actually, mommy&#8217;s not going to be doing any piggyback rides &#8217;cause uh, we have to go easy on her. She just got home from the hospital, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: Okay, I&#8217;ll save my biggest, bestest hug until you&#8217;re all better.<\/p>\n<p>[ Liam laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That a girl.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: It was fun having daddy stay. Right, mommy?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yes, sweetie. It is.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: I was sad that mommy was gone.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I was, too. I was really sad. But you know what? Mommy&#8217;s home now. She&#8217;s home and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: And you don&#8217;t have to worry. I&#8217;m not going to leave you or your little brother ever again.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: Promise?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Pinky swear.<\/p>\n<p>[ Kelly yawning ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I think someone&#8217;s still tired.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I think so, too.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Why doesn&#8217;t daddy bring you into your own bed? You can drift off for a little bit, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Kelly: Will you still be here when I wake up? I don&#8217;t want you to go. You said that you would shave your eyebrow off<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I&#8217;m not really sure how to answer that.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So, you&#8217;re not sure if things are right between you and eric?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn, uh, I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m sure that I love my husband, and he&#8217;s given me the best years of my life. But&#8230; like I confided to you earlier, things haven&#8217;t been the same between us since&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Since you and i became involved.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yes, which I take full responsibility for. I never should have been unfaithful to my husband, no matter what was going on between us at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: When you needed someone to confide in, someone who&#8217;d listen and understand.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I know. And you did. You listened to me, and you didn&#8217;t judge me. But I let it go a little too far.<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: We both did, and we paid the price.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, but eric&#8217;s been able to forgive you. You know? Everything&#8217;s fine between you. He&#8217;s been able to move past all of that for you. I just&#8211; it gives me hope that maybe he&#8217;ll be able to move past it for me too, and that at some point, our marriage will get back into sync.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You know how much I want that for you, right?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I do. I know all you want for me is my happiness, carter. And I want the same thing for you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Thomas, please. Hope doesn&#8217;t need you trying to undermine her marriage.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: That is not what I&#8217;m doing. I&#8217;m just pointing out that liam can&#8217;t seem to not&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: We are all aware that liam and steffy have a history. A history that you tried to take advantage of just to get close to my daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, mom. Stop. Please, both of you. All right? I realize, better than anyone, that steffy and liam will always have a bond. And I have advocated more than anyone that our families should get along and try to be supportive of one another, especially now. However, there is a way to go about doing this that is respectful to both of the families. Liam&#8217;s with me, and his with steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I completely agree. But shouldn&#8217;t you be saying this to liam instead of to brooke and me?<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opening ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Liam chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: She&#8211; she felt right back to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Not surprised. Did she ask about finn at all?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Um, no, but&#8230; yeah, she&#8211; she can tell he&#8217;s missing, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, she&#8217;s used to him spending long hours at the hospital. But I&#8217;m sure she&#8217;s realized something.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah. But listen, just&#8211; don&#8217;t worry about that now because we&#8217;re going to&#8211; we&#8217;re going to do it when you&#8217;re ready. And we&#8217;ll tell her together. And we&#8217;ll break it to her really gently. And we&#8217;ll just&#8211; we&#8217;ll find the right way to do it. It&#8217;s all we can do.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ringing ] That would be hope. Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Thank goodness. I&#8211; I&#8217;ve been worried about you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I&#8211; I bet you have. I am so sorry. Kelly was scared last night. She wanted her daddy. And then I fell asleep with her on the couch. And then my phone died, and I&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, I&#8211; I get it. It&#8217;s just I fell asleep waiting for you. And then I woke up and you weren&#8217;t here and it&#8211; you know what, never mind. Um&#8230; how&#8217;s steffy? Is she settled in?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I think so.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Great. Well, I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve been a big help. But you know, she also has her parents there. So, it&#8217;d be nice if you could come home.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, y&#8211;yes, definitely. Um, I just, uh&#8230; yeah. I&#8217;m on my way soon.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, bye.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You&#8217;re not in trouble, are you?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No. No, hope&#8230; she understands. Trust me.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Does she? Really?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;m glad that we can still talk like this.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Me too. I really value our friendship. More than you know. I like having carter walton, coo, in my corner.<\/p>\n<p>[ Carter chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Always. But you should know that eric&#8217;s your greatest champion. And it&#8217;s clear how much you love him. You have a wonderful husband.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I know.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And the rest will work itself out.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah. You&#8217;re right. I just have to remember how lucky I am to have such an honest and wonderful man who&#8217;s completely committed to me.<\/p>\n<p>Donna: My sweet, adorable, honey bear.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Liam is on his way home now. He, um, stayed the night because kelly was scared and she needed him. He was there for his little girl, the way a good father should be.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Ah, you don&#8217;t worry about hope and me, okay? Like, she&#8211; she&#8217;s very well aware of the horror you&#8217;re going through right now.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know, but I don&#8217;t want her to think&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I&#8211; I know what you&#8217;re&#8211; look, regardless of the history between you and hope, she is 100% supportive of my relationship with kelly. And she knows that I was here last night for kelly, too. And besides, I&#8217;m the one who messed up by falling asleep on the couch and not texting her, so&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m sorry. I am.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Why?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Because&#8230; I&#8217;m trying to be strong, you know, for my children and my family. But to know that finn&#8217;s not coming home&#8230; that hayes is never going to see his daddy again, like&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Crying ] I miss him so much. And he&#8217;s gone. He&#8217;s gone forever. But I have to keep moving forward. I have to&#8211; oh god, I have to, I have to for hayes, and for kelly.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Okay, but&#8230; not at the expense of taking care of yourself. You have to heal yourself first, and that&#8217;s not going to happen overnight. You have to give yourself time, right? To breathe, to&#8211; to process the grief, to process, to mourn finn.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I just felt&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Liam: And you have so many people&#8211; listen to me, you have so many people in your life who love and care about you. Your mom and dad, they would do anything for you. I would do anything for you. I mean, I&#8217;ll be here, too. The whole time.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank you. I just felt alone last night. And it meant a lot that you stayed, not just for kelly, but for me, too. And I&#8217;m really, really grateful for you.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I am.
