I\u2019m going to petition the courts to get visitation rights with Wiley. So, Michael and Willow be damned, and Carly, too. Carly most of all.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Hmm. I\u2019m so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: To be fair, she only postponed it\u2026 indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: [ Sighs ] It\u2019s me, isn\u2019t it? Ava doesn\u2019t want me here. I should just go.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Well, even if you were to move out, Ava and I have changed. And I\u2019m not sure how we recapture the spirit that led us to want to renew the vows in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: You\u2019ll find that magic again. When two people love each other the way that you and Ava do \u2014<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: love isn\u2019t the problem. Never has been. It\u2019s a matter of trust.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I know what you mean.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: You and Spencer are still struggling with trust issues?<\/p>\n<p>Esme: At least spence doesn\u2019t believe the awful things that Ava and Sonny think about me.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: That you\u2019re responsible for that video of Cameron and Josslyn.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: They just refuse to accept that it was Trina, never mind that all of the evidence points towards her, that she had motive and was physically in the cabin while I was long gone. It\u2019s easier to blame me.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: It\u2019s not only Ava and Sonny that believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: You\u2019ve changed your mind about me?<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Commissioner Ashford was here today. She was asking questions about you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ava: So which side will Sonny be on when you go into court demanding the right to see your grandson?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: You gotta know, if you to court on this and, uh, lines are gonna be drawn, sides are gonna be taken. And if I don\u2019t take a side, that means I\u2019m taking your side.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Well, Sonny, I would never, ever ask you to choose me over your son.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: No.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: I wouldn\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Right.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: So if you have to go against me in court and support Michael\u2019s attempt to block my petition, then I\u2019ll understand that.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: I-I told Sonny that I don\u2019t expect him to take a side.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Well, that\u2019s noble. But with Scott as your lawyer\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Scott is not gonna put Sonny on the stand, because if he does, I will fire him.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Wow, well, you \u2014 you feel very strongly about protecting Sonny, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Well, wh-what\u2019s a girl supposed to do, Ava? Tell me about the robbery at Charlie\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Ah, you know, just a couple of thugs. Um, Brando did the heavy lifting, and then, um, I was just making sure that, uh, Nina wasn\u2019t hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: All in a day\u2019s work, right, Sonny?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Yeah, nobody\u2019s going to be, uh, messing with anybody anymore, especially those guys.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: I wish I could say that about whoever killed Luke. The WSB arrested Jennifer Smith.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: She didn\u2019t seem too threatening when she showed up after Luke\u2019s memorial.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: And I remember you couldn\u2019t get her on a plane home fast enough.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Well, you know, she always seemed hung up on Luke, but being hung up on Luke and, you know, trying to kill him is, like, a big jump.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: Yeah. There\u2019s more.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Oh?<\/p>\n<p>Laura: She was caught red-handed with the Ice Princess.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Well, case closed. That\u2019s it. You keep showing up to Kelly&#8217;s every time I\u2019m here.<\/p>\n<p>Rory: Uh, just getting decent coffee for me and the rest of the squad. It\u2019s been a long day. Uh, you okay, Ms. Robinson?<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: We\u2019re all friends here. Well, some of us are friends.<\/p>\n<p>Rory: Good to know.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: You were saying?<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Go on, Spencer, don\u2019t stop now.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: It\u2019s about Josslyn.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Esme: What did Commissioner Ashford want to know?<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: She has to talk to you and Spencer. The staff informed her that you wouldn\u2019t be speaking with her without an attorney present.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I doubt the staff came up with that on their own.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: I told them what to say and to send the commissioner on her way as politely as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Thank you for protecting me. Us. I\u2019m sure the commissioner would love to make me the scapegoat.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Mm, from what the staff told me, the commissioner wasn\u2019t accusing you of anything.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Well, not openly, maybe, but I\u2019m sure she would much rather be building a case against me than Trina. Spencer was just starting to believe in me again, and if the commissioner turns him against me and then convinces you, too \u2014<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: That\u2019s not going to happen.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Thank you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ava: Those punks would not have tried to rob Charlie\u2019s when my brother owned it.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Ava, are you implying that they weren\u2019t afraid of Sonny?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I\u2019m just saying. If you and I know that his time in Nixon Falls changed him, who\u2019s to say word didn\u2019t get out?<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Yeah, but he\u2019s Sonny Corinthos. You should have seen how he and Brando took those thieves down. Even with guns, those punks didn\u2019t have a chance.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: And here I thought you fell for Mike the bartender, not Sonny the mobster. Guess we\u2019re not so different after all.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: And what do you mean by that?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Couldn\u2019t resist a bad boy.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: The WSB has Jennifer in custody. So as far as they\u2019re concerned, the matter is closed.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: You think there\u2019s more?<\/p>\n<p>Laura: The Ice Princess doesn\u2019t just connect to Luke\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Mm-hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: It brings the Cassadines into it.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Victor?<\/p>\n<p>Laura: Yeah. He\u2019s made no secret that he\u2019s got some kind of a plan in the works.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Anything I can do?<\/p>\n<p>Laura: Your friend Brick, that guy has his finger in more pies than I can count. If he hears anything\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: You\u2019ll be the first to know.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: Will I, though, Sonny? I was the last to know that my grandson was moving back to live at Wyndemere. And with his girlfriend. And it was all because of you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Sam: Harmony Miller was and still is trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: Alright, well, Alexis doesn\u2019t seem bothered by it.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Well, my mom made it very clear that her friendship with Harmony was her business.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis: I-I was alone in that prison for a long time, and \u2014 and Harmony was my only friend. And not only that, New Year&#8217;s Eve, you know, I was sitting right there in that chair staring at a bunch of champagne flutes that I was really thinking about downing. And Harmony sat there and talked to me until I came to my senses. So things would have gone a lot differently if it weren\u2019t for Harmony. I really have Harmony to thank for that.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: I had no choice but to back off just now.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: Okay. Well, Harmony is Willow\u2019s mom, so I\u2019m inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. But getting so drunk at the bar that you can barely stand, that can\u2019t be good for Alexis. But I\u2019m going to stop because I have no right to give you advice.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: You don\u2019t hear me shutting you down.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: That\u2019s because you\u2019re being polite, which is totally unnecessary since I asked you to use your relationship with Dante to find out what the PCPD had on Trina.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: We have been over this, and you didn\u2019t make me do anything that I didn\u2019t want to do. I made the decision to go into Dante\u2019s e-mails and look up forensic information.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: Yes, but after I badgered you about Trina\u2019s innocence and how Esme was guilty, which is true, by the way, but still, I put you on the spot, and I really hope Dante forgave you.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Mm, we\u2019ve got a lot of work to do on that.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: I\u2019m sorry. But after you saw the forensic e-mail, was there anything that could help Trina?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Cameron: We\u2019re not talking about Josslyn here.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I am. I told Cameron I wanted to believe your story, but honestly, I was just trying to please Josslyn because I know that you two are good friends.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Yeah, we\u2019re good friends. We\u2019re best friends. Not that you\u2019d have any idea what that means. Because friendship is just a word to you, Spencer. No, actually, it\u2019s \u2014 it\u2019s more of a commodity. It\u2019s something that you buy, like you buy everything else. So it\u2019s no surprise that you can\u2019t wrap your mind around the fact that I actually believe in Trina because I know her.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: That\u2019s you, Josslyn. Always ready to fight, do whatever it takes to win.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Where are you going with this?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Why try to throw all the blame on Esme? After we left the cabin that night, you three were all alone, so did you get Trina to film that video of you getting it on with Cameron? What if this was all just Josslyn\u2019s way of framing Esme?<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: -Oh, my god.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: -Are you crazy?<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Son of a bitch!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nina: I have kissed a lot of very handsome frogs, but I\u2019ve never found my prince.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Well, I have an actual prince. And I\u2019m starting to prefer the croakers on spoon island.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Uh-oh. What\u2019d Nikolas do now?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: [ Sighs ] Plenty. And I\u2019m furious. But to be fair, I\u2019m not completely blameless in the situation, and nor is your heartthrob over there.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: What\u2019d Sonny do?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I\u2019m surprised he didn\u2019t tell you. After Trina was wrongfully arrested, accused of being responsible for this revenge porn video, I went to Sonny and I urged him to have A\u2026private chat with Esme.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: He would never hurt a teenager.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Yeah, no. But he\u2019s certainly an expert at the art of intimidation. He can terrify somebody without even raising his voice. And I was hoping that he would get Esme to confess, but he didn\u2019t get the chance because Nikolas figured out what was going on and came to Esme\u2019s rescue, and she loved that. She played the poor, innocent waif in need of protection. And then the next thing you know, Nikolas invited Spencer and Esme to stay with us without even asking me first.<\/p>\n<p>[ Cellphone rings ]<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Okay, can you just hold that thought, please? Just one second. Hey, Phyllis. Have you recovered from last night? What? Oh, no.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Uh, Spencer\u2019s girlfriend and I, we \u2014 we had a little chat.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: How little?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Well, you got to understand something. Um, after what Esme did with that tape, you know, of Cameron and Josslyn, that cannot go unchallenged.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: And I\u2019m not saying that it shouldn\u2019t, but this is where we part ways, because I do trust the justice system.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Even after Trina Robinson got arrested, and now she could go to prison while, uh, Esme is being protected by Nikolas on Spoon Island?<\/p>\n<p>Laura: [ Sighs ] Okay, first of all, who said that Trina Robinson is going to prison? She\u2019s going to get a trial so she can prove her innocence.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Right, but Esme can make that difficult for her.<\/p>\n<p>Laura: Sonny. Yes. If anything happens to Esme now, you are suspect number one, and I will have Robert Scorpio prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Laura, Laura, Laura. Okay, listen, I promise you that even if Esme is found guilty, I won\u2019t touch a hair on her head.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Hey, Sonny, I\u2019m sorry to interrupt, but I just heard from Phyllis. Those two men that tried to rob Charlie\u2019s, they\u2019re back on the street.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Sam: Dante arrived before I could read the details, but the CSU e-mail said that there was more evidence tying Trina to the crime.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: [ Sighs ] This is bad. Diane said the prosecuting is tough and she has a strong conviction record. And even though I know that Esme framed Trina and planted every shred of evidence, the ADA doesn\u2019t know that. She\u2019s going to use that evidence and send the wrong person to jail.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Yeah, sometimes law doesn\u2019t have much to do with justice.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: Yeah. Look no further than Nina&#8217;s right to petition the court for visitation with Wiley.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Okay, just because she can petition doesn\u2019t mean she can win.<\/p>\n<p>Carly: I don\u2019t know about that.
