I am pleased with the progress you&#8217;re making, steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mm. Can&#8230; I go home?<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Let&#8217;s not get ahead of ourselves right now. Not quite yet, okay, honey?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Come here a second. Do you think I could try again? You know, trying to find out again, what happened in the alley, jog her memory a little bit&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Ridge, just don&#8217;t get disappointed if she doesn&#8217;t have answers.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m not&#8211; okay, hey, baby, you awake?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mm.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I just want to try one more time, see if&#8211; maybe you remember what happened that night. Who did this to you?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You were really going to jump?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I just had no idea that you were that depressed.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Am that depressed, deacon, I am. I would&#8217;ve done it. I just want the pain to go away I have never felt so low and worthless.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: And then taylor showed up.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah. She tried to stop me.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Sheila!<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I was gonna do it anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Don&#8217;t do it.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And she made a move toward me, and she slipped. She saved my life.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Don&#8217;t drop me! [ Sobbing ] Thank you!<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And I saved hers.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Have the kids been asking questions?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh, well, douglas did ask how long kelly and hayes are going to be there.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, man.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, he&#8217;s a very smart kid. I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;ll figure out something&#8217;s going on soon.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, probably. I ju&#8211; I&#8217;m grateful that steffy&#8217;s doing better, because at least it&#8217;s going to make that very difficult conversation we have to have with them a little bit easier. But&#8211; hey.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Hi! I heard that steffy was awake.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She is.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: She is? That&#8217;s wonderful. You must be so relieved.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I am.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So where&#8217;s ridge?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Uh, quinn, um, what can I do for you?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Well, um, I thought it was time to give this back to you. Key to your loft. I figured enough time has passed. Maybe there was another someone special you might want to give it to. But&#8230; I never would have thought&#8230; you and paris. It&#8217;s true? You&#8217;re involved with paris because I saw her face when she walked out right now. That&#8217;s why she and zende aren&#8217;t engaged. [ Sighing ] Carter, what have you gotten yourself into?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: So, is ridge here?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: He is, yes. He&#8217;s in with steffy right now.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, okay. Yeah. So I probably shouldn&#8217;t interrupt.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, probably.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Has steffy said anything so far? Does she know who did this to her and finn?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey. I don&#8217;t need to worry about you, do I? I&#8211; I mean, right now. Sheila, I know&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No you have no idea.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Okay, fair enough. You&#8217;re right. I don&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Finn is dead. And my grandson is gonna grow up without his father.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: And maybe without a mother. Which is all the reason why you need to stay in this world. You gotta be here for&#8211; for hayes&#8211; I&#8211; sheila, you gotta be here for hayes if steffy doesn&#8217;t pull through.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: She&#8217;s doing better. Uh, she&#8217;s not out of the woods yet, but&#8211; but she&#8217;s awake.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hey! That&#8217;s great&#8211; that&#8211; that&#8217;s good news, right?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s fuzzy how&#8211; I don&#8217;t remember being shot at. I don&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Honey, maybe if you concentrate on why you were there in the first place?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah. Why&#8211; why were you in the alley with finn? You guys going out for a drink? Maybe? What were you doing?<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: It&#8217;s okay, steffy, if you need to rest.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No. I&#8211; I want to help.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You are, you are helping, just try to see if&#8211; you remember a face, maybe? Was it a man or a woman? Tall, short? Anything? Who shot you, baby? Hi, I&#8217;m karen.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: So this thing between you and paris, this has been going on since new year&#8217;s eve?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It was a mistake, and it never should have happened. So it was an attraction we&#8217;re going to have to fight.<\/p>\n<p>[ Keys jangling ] What?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Trying to fight an attraction to you. That&#8217;s something I know a little bit about.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Steffy doesn&#8217;t remember anything about the shooting. Her, finn.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, no.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: But bridget did say that, um, that&#8217;s relatively normal, right, taylor? Like, we shouldn&#8217;t be too concerned about it.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, I mean, it&#8217;s not ideal. But I&#8211; I don&#8217;t think we should worry. It&#8217;s understandable that steffy would suppress this kind of trauma.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, but suppress for how long?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I don&#8217;t know. Right now, steffy is&#8211; she&#8217;s and out of consciousness. She has to be reminded where she is and what happened. [ Sighing ] But you know what? She&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s made so much progress already. She&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s awake. She&#8217;s getting better by the hour. Hopefully, she&#8217;ll be able to connect the dots and find out who did this.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I get that steffy hasn&#8217;t exactly treated you with kindness since you came back. But I can&#8217;t believe that you would wish her dead.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What I wish is that I could go back in time. Before they got shot and do somethin&#8211; just do something to stop it.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m so sorry, sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: So am I. I just wish that I could tell finn that. I could see him just one more time. Tell him how much I love him and how sorry I am. He&#8217;s gone. And I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m never gonna get to see him again. I&#8217;ll never get to see him again. [ Sobbing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I want to remember. [ Wincing ]<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: I think she&#8217;s had enough.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8211; I want to remember, but I can&#8217;t&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s okay. It&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s okay. Rest. Just close your eyes and get some rest. It&#8217;s okay. What&#8211; I&#8217;m sorry. I&#8217;m just trying to find out who did this to her.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: I know, ridge, I know. And it will happen.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It will happen. I promise you.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We&#8217;ll find whoever did this. I know there&#8217;s more heartache coming your way, but&#8211; I&#8217;m here. I&#8217;m right here.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Has anybody told her, about finn?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No. I mean, I&#8211; I don&#8217;t- I don&#8217;t think so, but, uh&#8211; it&#8217;s just&#8211; I mean that conversation, it&#8217;s going to be impossible. How do we even&#8211; she lost her husband, you know.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hi, amelia said that the kids are fine. And if we wanted to, she can bring them by the hospital later.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, excellent. That&#8217;s really cool. I would, I&#8211; I would like to stay a little bit longer, at least until I can have a&#8211; a proper conversation with steffy. Um, actually, maybe I&#8217;m going to see if I can go do that now. Do you mind?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: All right. I love you.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You happy with the numbers?<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Quite happy. You saw the follow up ct scan?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: This is exactly where I would expect steffy to be.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: What about her memory?<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Taylor. You, of all people, know we don&#8217;t worry about that yet.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, as a doctor. Sure. I&#8217;ve been trying to stay positive around my family. Not let them know what I&#8217;m feeling. But as a mother, I&#8217;m freaking out, bridget.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Just remember, she regained consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yeah, hm.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: That was our biggest hurdle. Taylor, look at me. You got to hang in there, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Yes. Thank you. I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m trying. I&#8217;m trying.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Don&#8217;t forget, it may not be such a bad thing that she doesn&#8217;t recall everything, just for the time being.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I can&#8217;t imagine what it&#8217;s going to be like for her to have to recall that horrific night. To experience those emotions again, and all of that but I know that it&#8217;s important, so she can tell us who did this, so we can put them behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: Well, it was a good sign that she woke up and knows who she is, who we are. We just need to give her some time to remember the events of that night.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: But when is she going to remember? When is she gonna be able to tell us what happened?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Who knew paris and I would have so much in common. I should go and find her. Give her some advice&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: No, no, no. Please don&#8217;T. Don&#8217;t do that.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: What? Professor quinn, how to get over carter walton 101.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Why is this funny? Why&#8211; why are you joking right now?<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Are you sure things are really over?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yes. Yes. Falling for a woman involved with another man? Fool me once, right?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Are you all right?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Can I tell you the truth?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Always.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I haven&#8217;t been all right since you went back to eric. Been a bit of a mess, very confused, and&#8211; instead of moving on with a woman who&#8217;s available, what do I do? I hook up with zende&#8217;s girlfriend, he&#8217;s one of my best friends, and then&#8211; I let something happen with the woman I knew I couldn&#8217;t have. A relationship I knew would go nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Why would you do that to yourself?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Because I couldn&#8217;t go after a woman with actual potential. Couldn&#8217;t risk starting something, not when&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Not when what?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Not when a part of me is&#8230; still wanting&#8230; wishing. I miss you, quinn. I miss you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I miss you, too.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: It&#8217;s so upsetting, knowing that whoever did this is just walking around free.<\/p>\n<p>Bridget: I know. I understand. I really, really do understand your frustration. But you have got to have some patience. You know, we just have to hope that steffy will be able to remember everything.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You don&#8217;t really believe that she won&#8217;t, do you? See, I&#8211;I&#8217;ve been trying to stay strong for my family. Not wanting them to see that there is&#8211; there&#8217;s a part of me that is afraid that she&#8217;s not going to remember anything. You think the same thing too, don&#8217;t you? You think it&#8217;s possible&amp; steffy might not remember what happened that night?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Must be a little strange for you. Your husband has barely left the hospital since he found out, practically holding vigil at his ex-wife&#8217;s bedside.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh mom, steffy is very important to liam.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yes, they share a history.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: And they share a child. So trust me, liam is exactly where he should be.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Okay. What about you?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: What about me?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Uh, you and liam are a couple. Why didn&#8217;t you go in there with him?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Because steffy is still in a fragile state. She experienced something very traumatic, and I don&#8217;t want to overwhelm her. And besides, liam should have alone time with her. Mom, where is all this coming from?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I just thought you should have gone in there with him, that&#8217;s all. I mean, why wouldn&#8217;t you go in there? Liam is your husband.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I know that, mom. I know. And you don&#8217;t have to worry because nothing is going to change that.<\/p>\n<p>[ Groaning ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Dad?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re all right? You&#8217;re in pain?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: A little bit. Where am I? What happened?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Wait, wait, you&#8217;re in the hospital, we talked about this. You&#8211; everything&#8217;s fine.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh. Yeah, you&#8211; you want me to remember.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Don&#8217;t worry about that.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Just rest, don&#8217;t worry.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hey.
