It\u2019s, uh, one of the things that makes us work.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: One of the things.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: I wish you could have joined me at the spa for some pampering.<\/p>\n<p>Britt: Ugh. Me too. Unfortunately, I was working.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: She works too much. You need to enjoy yourself more. I tell her all the time.<\/p>\n<p>Britt: I-I declare tonight a mother rant-free zone. Let\u2019s just enjoy our dinner, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Okay. Good. \u2018Cause I\u2019m starving.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: It\u2019s so nice to have a family dinner like this. It\u2019s unfortunate Maxie couldn\u2019t join us. At least two of my precious girls are with me.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Yeah, y-you know, if you want a girls\u2019 night out, I-I could just lickety-split.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: You\u2019re part of the family, Scott. You\u2019re not going anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Ooh. Good.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p>Ava: -Scott!<\/p>\n<p>Scott: -Ooh!<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I\u2019m so glad I found you. I need you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Josslyn: Ugh.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: You, uh, can\u2019t concentrate?<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: I keep thinking about that call with my R.A.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Well, I mean, she was just looking out for you.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Asking if I feel unsafe rooming with Trina. Trina\u2019s my best friend, okay? And she did not secretly record us, and she did not post it. They should be more worried about Esme.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: We have to find evidence that links her to the recording. So then Trina can accept all the apologies from everyone who\u2019s been blaming her.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Yeah, well, that does nothing to lessen the pain that Trina\u2019s already feeling.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Spencer: Ava! What are you doing here?<\/p>\n<p>Trina: Surprised to see I still have a job? Unlike you, Ava knows I didn\u2019t make that video of Joss and Cam, so here I am.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: That\u2019s not what I meant. I just didn\u2019t know that you\u2019d be working here tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: [ Scoffs ]<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I\u2019m here to see Ava.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: Yeah, I heard you calling for her. But Ava\u2019s not here, so you can go. What are you waiting for?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: You.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Cameron: Uh, are you hungry? I can see if Aiden has any award-winning cookies left.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Award-winning?<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Yeah. He won a contest promoting national carrot day.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: National carrot day. Really?<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Yeah. It\u2019s a thing. He \u2014 he won it by baking carrot-ginger cookies.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Sounds weird.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: I know, but they were oddly delicious. Did you see my post about it?<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: No.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: I\u2019m sorry. I-I forgot you deleted social media.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: It\u2019s okay. I mean, I deleted all of my accounts. There were too many accounts just to block. The trolls were out in full force, so\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Look. The internet will find something else to fixate on very soon.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: Yeah, until Trina\u2019s trial starts up again and the whole thing blows up. God. I can\u2019t even believe I\u2019m saying those words \u2014 \u201cTrina\u2019s trial.\u201d It\u2019s insane that she\u2019s been arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: Yeah, she would never do anything so hurtful.<\/p>\n<p>Josslyn: It has to be Esme. No doubt she\u2019s confident that she\u2019s pulled this off and she\u2019s covered her tracks, but she is not that smart. There has to be evidence tying her to the video.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron: And we have to find it before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Esme: Did Ms. Davis leave?<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: She did.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Alexis doesn\u2019t want me here, does she?<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: All that matters is what I want. And I want you to stay.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Thank you. My hope is that I can help you and spence start to heal your relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: We\u2019re making progress, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I don\u2019t think. I know. Not that I\u2019m surprised. More time I spend with you, the more I realize what a great father you are.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Sam: What are we really doing here? Not that I don\u2019t love having, like, the best night ever.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: I don\u2019t know. It was just a really tough day at work. And then when I saw you, I remembered how lucky I am to have you in my life, and I wanted to make sure that you knew that.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Ohh. Believe me\u2026I know it.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I\u2019m sorry to interrupt. Scott, I-I-I need to borrow you. Just for a couple of moments. I-it\u2019s important.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: You\u2019re too late. Scott\u2019s mine.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: I-it\u2019s okay, my schnitzel. I\u2019ll be quick. Ladies.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: It\u2019s so wonderful to have finally found my soul mate. The two of you are long overdue. At least Nina has someone in her sights \u2014<\/p>\n<p>Nina: [ Stammers ]<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: So that leaves my Britta. Any news from the matchmaker, hm?<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Matchmaker?<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Ava, Ava, I-is this about you divorcing Nikolas again? \u2018Cause I thought you were gonna give him more than 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: This isn\u2019t about Nikolas. This is about his son.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: What\u2019s Spencer have to do with this?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: I don\u2019t want Spencer at the gallery. So I\u2019d like for you to arrange for him to make his restitution someplace else, like picking up garbage or sweeping the street. Either would be good.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Is this about Trina?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Trina has been through enough, and I\u2019m not gonna let Spencer hurt her anymore.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Trina: Why are you waiting for me?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I need to know that you\u2019re okay.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: What do you think? I was arrested for something I didn\u2019t even do. I had an arraignment hearing, which you didn\u2019t even bother to show up to.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I didn\u2019t think that you would want me there.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: I didn\u2019t! And how could you possibly think that I\u2019d be close to okay?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Sorry. Poor word choice.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: I guess that would really affect someone who was vicious enough to post a sex tape. But despite what you think, that person isn\u2019t me.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Trina, stop!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Sasha: Brando and I are planning a long life together. We\u2019re looking for our first home.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Well, if you need any help, just ask. But since Deception did so well in the IPO, you\u2019re not gonna have any problems. And I am a happy investor myself, so\u2026 good luck with your house hunting. You feel bad for Brando and Sasha, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Mm-hmm. You never get over losing a child. But at least Sasha and Brando have each other. They can focus on building a life together.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Yeah, they seem to be doing good. So, h-how\u2019s your \u2014 how\u2019s everything going with you?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Well, look around. Business is booming.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: No, that\u2019s not what I asked. I\u2019m talking about, like, Port Charles. How\u2019s \u2014 how\u2019s life?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Hm! I\u2019m amazed how quickly it\u2019s begun to feel like home.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: You don\u2019t miss your friends in \u2014 in Nixon Falls?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: I do, but when I go back to visit, they feel more like\u2026 the past. Port Charles is my present.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Yeah, that\u2019s \u2014 that\u2019s, uh\u2026 that\u2019s good.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: What are you up to?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: [ Chuckles ] Actually, Phyllis, um\u2026 I have a favor to ask you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Scott: Ava, the judge will have my head if I try and change a court-order placement, you know, over a couple of teenagers fighting.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Well, this is more than just a fight, Scott. You know that. S-Spencer told Trina that he believes that she is behind that revenge porn video. How can she be expected to work with him?<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Well, unless Trina has some concerns over this thing, I mean\u2026 [ Sighs ] S-Spencer has no legal connection to her case.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: [ Scoffs ] Except for the fact that he keeps defending the enemy.<\/p>\n<p>Nina: So, Britt, I gather from aunt Liesl you haven\u2019t been matched with your soul mate yet?<\/p>\n<p>Britt: Mm. Sadly, soul mates are few and far between.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: Only because you\u2019ve been dragging your feet.<\/p>\n<p>Britt: I filled out the 10-page questionnaire. Now it\u2019s up to \u201cSociety Setups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nina: Oh, boy. Okay, ladies. I\u2019m sorry. I can\u2019t stay for dinner. Alright? I promised Phyllis that I would drop by and see her, but\u2026 make sure you call me when you meet Mr. Right.<\/p>\n<p>Britt: [ Chuckles ] When hell freezes over. [ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: This has been more than just a \u201cfew moments.\u201d Where has Ava taken mein Scott?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Oh, this is nice. My day is definitely improving.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Then I\u2019m glad my plan is working.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: And what plan was that?<\/p>\n<p>Sam: To de-stress you.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: I saw how tense you were at the station. You want to talk about it?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: [ Sighs ] Yeah, you know, some cases are just tougher than others.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Trina Robinson? The new evidence that you asked the officer to e-mail you and the ADA? It won\u2019t help?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: I don\u2019t know. Let\u2019s get a table. You wanna get some food?<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Detective Falconeri.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: May I have a word, please?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Sure, Ava.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Go ahead. I\u2019ll wait.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Uh, what, uh \u2014 what can I do for you, Ava?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: You can stop wasting time and resources on this ridiculous case against Trina.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Spencer: I\u2019m sorry. Can we start over? Seeing you caught me by surprise. I\u2019m reacting inappropriately.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: In more ways than one.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Ok I am worried about my friend.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: How do you do that?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Do what?<\/p>\n<p>Trina: Ignore the fact that you accused me of betraying my best friends and then humiliating them in public. Do you really think that we can talk as if none of that happened?<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I suppose not.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: But that\u2019s just you. Closing your eyes to the truth. I mean, how else can you stay with Esme, after everything she\u2019s done?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Esme: Spence has no idea how lucky he is to have you as a father.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: I\u2019ve made a lot of mistakes with my son.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: But despite everything, I still see your father-son bond. It might weaken, but it can\u2019t be broken. I often wonder what kind of bond I would have with my birth parents if they had been alive to raise me.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Do you have any memories of them?<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I was an infant when I was adopted. And then I lost my adoptive parents, too. It\u2019s hard growing up without a mother.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Spencer and I would agree with you.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: It\u2019s not as though my adoptive parents left me intentionally. Their deaths were unexpected. Tragic. But I can\u2019t help but feeling like my birth parents just threw me away. I\u2019ll always wonder if I\u2019ll be worthy of their love.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Children don\u2019t have to earn love. And, besides, you don\u2019t know why you were put up for adoption. Your parents could have desperately wanted you but found it impossible to keep you.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Like your mother couldn\u2019t be a part of your childhood?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Phyllis: I\u2019d do any favor you\u2019d ask if it\u2019s in my power. What do you need?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Yeah, I know, I know. Look, look. Y-you\u2019re just bearing the brunt of running this place. You know what I mean?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: I don\u2019t mind. You\u2019re a busy man. Yeah, but I hope I \u2014 I just \u2014 it hasn\u2019t burdened you in any way.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: [ Chuckles ] Don\u2019t worry, Sonny. I\u2019m very happy here.<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Good, good, \u2019cause it \u2014 it would help me a lot if you would take Charlie\u2019s off my hands.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: [ Exhales sharply ]<\/p>\n<p>Brando: Sasha. Besides, I don\u2019t need a reminder of Liam. I think about him all the time.<\/p>\n<p>Brando: Me too.<\/p>\n<p>Sasha: Well, it was nice of Sonny to welcome me to the family. You invited him to the wedding reception, right?<\/p>\n<p>Brando: I thought you were handling that.<\/p>\n<p>Sasha: Brando! You belong here.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Is this misplaced guilt about the tan-o burning down?<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: That wouldn\u2019t have happened if \u2014 if you and Lenny didn\u2019t take me in.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Sonny, please \u2014<\/p>\n<p>Sonny: Listen to me. You understand me?<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis: Hm.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Dante: I don\u2019t know if you know this, Ava, but I-I\u2019m not the lead detective on Trina\u2019s case.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Well, you could still be the voice of reason, right? The commissioner has lost her damn mind if she thinks that Trina would make a sex tape of anybody, let alone her very best friends! Why haven\u2019t the cops looked into Esme prince?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Okay, Ava, I can\u2019t talk about an ongoing investigation. You know that, right?<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, I am so sick of the party line.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: You\u2019re sick of th \u2014 okay, well, how about this one? We\u2019re following the evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Well, why don\u2019t you follow the evidence that leads to Esme\u2019s guilt before Trina ends up in prison?<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Wow. That was\u2026weird.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: Sorry I left you without any backup.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Ha! You kind of did. No, really. We shouldn\u2019t both have to deal with Ava.<\/p>\n<p>Sam: She was out of line.<\/p>\n<p>Dante: Yeah. She was also right.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: I hope you billed her for your time.<\/p>\n<p>Scott: Well, now, listen, my pet, as a lawyer, it\u2019s never 9-to-5. I\u2019ve always got to be on call for all my clients, especially the ones that pay so well.<\/p>\n<p>Liesl: I find your work ethic strangely\u2026sexy. [ Chuckles ] Hmm. Hm.<\/p>\n<p>Britt: Gross.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nikolas: True. I didn\u2019t meet my mother until I was a teenager.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: Spence told me a bit about it. I have to admit, it\u2019s nice to talk to someone who knows what it\u2019s like to have a lonely childhood.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Didn\u2019t you have adopted brothers and sisters?<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I did. But we were never close. After my adopted parents died, the only person who cared about me was my nanny, Maggie.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: Well, at least you had someone. Are you still in touch?<\/p>\n<p>Esme: When I was sent to boarding school\u2026 Maggie found another job, and we slowly lost touch.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas: So Spencer never met her.<\/p>\n<p>Esme: I\u2019m afraid not. But they really would have liked one another. And Maggie never knew that I found someone to love me\u2026 \u2026however briefly.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Spencer: My situation with Esme is complicated.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: It was complicated when you thought she was pregnant. Yeah. Ava told me that it was a false alarm. Congratulations on dodging another bullet. But you still think I\u2019m guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: You were drunk at the cabin. And you said that you don\u2019t remember what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: I didn\u2019t walk around with a burner phone in case I got mad at my friends and wanted to tape them having sex and then send out an e-mail while they\u2019re in the middle of class! And in case you forgot, I was with you when they got that video.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: I know. You were with me at the cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Trina: At your mother\u2019s grave. When you, once again, decided that the rules didn\u2019t apply to you, when you decided to sneak out of prison. I lied to the Commissioner to cover for you.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer: Wait. Have you told your lawyer that I\u2019m your alibi?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Josslyn: Well, this is useless.
